Waymo's vehicles can navigate complex city streets, use lidar, radar, and cameras to build a real-time 3D map of their surroundings, and communicate their locations to centralized servers. Yet the system halts when a door sensor registers even a partial latch. Because the cars are sealed off from manual control,... Read Entire Article View the full article
The Subway Slammer is the first baddie in gacha spinoff Persona 5: The Phantom X. He is also a total clown show—at least in the Western world, anyway. Despite representing Japan's very serious butsukari otoko problem—an ongoing violence against women that usually involves men intentionally bodychecking women in crowded spaces like train stations—his English localised name and dialogue made him absolute meme bait when the game first launched over this way... Halo Infinite was an interesting game, solely for the impact it had on the Halo series and its fans. While everything was set up for Microsoft tip it into the basket and take the win, Infinite came with a lot of baggage, including a lack of features at launch and a live service-heavy multiplayer component. Finding the Prismatic Pickaxe in The Forge on Frostpire Expanse Island 3 is the equivalent of the Arcane Pickaxe for Island 1 or Demonic Pickaxe for Island 2. To get it you'll need to go to the frozen lake near the town area on Island 3 and jump into the hole. I'll show you how to get the Prismatic Pickaxe in The Forge step-by-step. How to Find Mosasaursit and Prismatic Pickaxe in The Forge The Prismatic Pickaxe is just behind the ice wall where you get Mosasaursit You get both Mosasaursit and Prismatic Pickaxe in the same spot in The Forge which is on Island 3 Frostpire Expanse beneath the Frozen Lake which you enter via a little hole. Here are all the steps to do it: Bring the Snow Pickaxe ($750.000 at the Pickaxe Shop) or any Pickaxe with a mining strength of over 320.Follow our picture and video guide above to reach the Frozen Lake.Jump into the little fishing hole on the lake. Keep swimming down until you reach the bottom.Mine the ice wall which took me around 20 minutes with the Snow Pickaxe (You need at least a 320 strength Pickaxe).Breaking the ice wall will give you the Mosasaursit ore which you need to buy the Prismatic Pickaxe (7x multiplier, Trait: -25% Swiftness, +65% Vitality on Armor)(Optional) Use Dwarf and Miner Totem for faster ice wall mining.Behind the wall you'll see the Prismatic Pickaxe which you can then buy for 1 Mosasaursit and $2.000.000.I recommend using the Goblin Race for a discount. The Prismatic Pickaxe is currently the best pickaxe in The Forge. Check out all the new Island 3 Ores and traits. Persona is a series defined by its calendar system. Everything revolves around it: the school schedule, dungeon deadlines, and social events. So what happens when you try and stuff that core gameplay system-shaped peg into a gacha-shaped hole?.. Read more.View the full article
It's been an incredible year for Xbox Game Pass, with some of the best games in decades launched as day-one releases. The indie-developed Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 from Sandfall Interactive, for example, went on to win GOTY at this year's The Game Awards and arguably wouldn't have reached such a wide audience so quickly without Game Pass. Persona 5: The Phantom X has just kicked off its half-anniversary celebration marking a whole six months since the release of the gacha spin-off (at least in Japan and the Western world, anyway). It's not been an easy journey, to say the least. The game's launch was criticised for stark differences between reward distribution in the ******** version versus the global release and was arguably (and very surprisingly) eclipsed by horse girl gacha Umamusume: Pretty Derby releasing just one day sooner... PC gamers on Steam have been treated to all kinds of free games this month, with the latest being Caveman World: Mountains of Unga *******. Steam may not have its own version of the Epic Games Store free mystery game giveaway, but that hasn't stopped various publishers from giving away free games on the platform this holiday season. I can't get enough of city-builders on Steam. Even the smaller-scale titles can be a blast, especially as you're learning the ins and outs of a civilization or territory, whether it's based on historical evidence or fully out-there in a sci-fi setting. View the full article
The demand for Cooling Coils has gone up ever since Expedition 2 became available in the project section of ARC Raiders. While Cooling Coils have been present in the game since launch in October, they weren't among the more essential items. However, the second Expedition project requires you to get this specific item if you plan on resetting your account in February. This guide will help you narrow down the locations where you want to look. Best locations to find Cooling Coils in ARC Raiders Cooling Coils are available on every map in ARC Raiders. To raise your chances of success, you'll want to look in areas that have an Industrial nature. The simple reason is that Cooling Coils are considered Industrial items. My two favorite maps for this resource so far have been Dam Battlegrounds and Spaceport. On Dam Battlegrounds, you'll want to look at the Power Generation Complex, the Water Treatment Control Center, and the Hydrophonic Dome Complex in particular. I have found Cooling Coils across all three locations on my previous raids. Screenshot and remix by Destructoid On Spaceport, you'll want to be looking at Shipping Warehouse, Container Storage, and Rocket Assembly. The latter is also known for spawning other items like Mod Boxes, which are also required to complete the new Expedition project. Screenshot and remix by Destructoid If you're at the locations that I have mentioned, you'll want to be looking into every possible container. The actual spawn location of these items, like all other resources, will be random. You'll also have to be lucky, as someone could have looted them from their spawn locations. Either way, Cooling Coils aren't the easiest items to find. You can also try your luck on maps where the Cold Snap modifier is active. It raises the chances of finding rarer items, so that could help your case better. You'll need to find at least four Coolig Coils to complete the second stage of the new Expedition project. In early December, Suda51’s Grasshopper Manufacture announced that it would be self-publishing its next game, Romeo is a Dead Man. While an announcement like this would be notable for any developer, it was a particularly monumental one for Grasshopper given the current situation it finds itself in, and how that has arguably felt at odds with the studio’s ethos. Back in 2021, the No More Heroes developer was acquired by the monolithic NetEase Games – the second-largest games company in China behind Tencent – and despite assurances from the company that it wouldn’t mess with Grasshopper’s unique style, it still felt like an unusual partnership for a studio known for its punk rock mentality. I'll just go ahead and say it—it's been a huge year for horse girls. Whether you were the type of kid who asked your parents for a pony for Christmas each year, the type to head down to your local riding school each weekend to muck out, or you just had stacks of books with pretty horse pictures in, let's all take a moment to be honest and say there's a horse girl in each of us. 2025 has tried, and in most cases succeeded, to coax this inner ****** out in every which way it possibly can. And, even as someone who has literally never sat atop a horse, I have no shame in admitting that I was the first to fall... Read more.View the full article
Etermax hit it big during the mobile gaming revolution when it published Trivia Crack back in 2013. Word of mouth helped the game spread on Android and iOS to more than 800 million downloads. And now Buenos Aires, Argentina-based Etermax has turned its attention to virtual reality. And it has scored a hit with the quirky and comedic VR title Airport Security Guard. The game isn’t huge like Trivia Crack yet, but it’s been gaining traction. .memberful-global-teaser-content p:last-child{ -webkit-mask-image: linear-gradient(180deg, #000 0%, transparent); mask-image: linear-gradient(180deg, #000 0%, transparent); } Read This Article Free Get instant access by joining the GB MAX Access tier — it’s free to sign up and unlock premium content.Join Now to Start ReadingAlready a member? The demand for Surveyor Vault in ARC Raiders has gone up ever since the first Expedition project kicked off on Dec. 22, and you're going to need plenty of them. The Surveyor Vault is required as an upgrade material for the Medical Lab. While you might have kept all your upgrades intact, you'll still have to build them with the correct resources. This guide will help you find the best spots possible to find this specific item. Best locations to find Surveyor Vault in ARC Raiders The only known way to find a Surveyor Vault is by taking down Surveyors. You'll find the Surveyor on every map. My favorite locations are Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, and Stella Montis. The Surveyor will only attack if it becomes aware of your presence. You'll need to wait for it to become stationary since its core will then be exposed. It's pretty easy to take down a Surveyor when its core is exposed. However, you'll want to do so from a distance, as it can alert your position to nearby ARCs. You can also use one of your teammates to bait it out while you can shoot at its core. Try to carry heavy weapons as they're ideal to shred the armor of the Surveyor. Screenshot and remix by Destructoid The Dam Battlegrounds appear to have the most spots when it comes to Surveyor spawns. I have marked a few of the locations where I have found them. You can try out the Ruby Residence, as this specific spot also spawns plenty of keys. The Lobby area on Stella Montis is another great spot to come across different Surveyors (but their spawn rates will vary across raids). You can also possibly find them at the Medical Research and Assembly Workshop areas. Screenshot and remix by Destructoid You can also find them on Buried City, Spaceport, and Blue Gate, but these maps can be harder to survive. Additionally, you can also find Surveyor Vault from ARC Couriers. However, it's not guaranteed, and ARC Couriers spawn randomly on the maps. Hence, it's best not to rely on this method. India’s gaming industry concluded 2025 after a year of significant regulatory, structural and market change that has reshaped the sector’s business models, investment landscape and long-term growth trajectory. The year was marked by the introduction of comprehensive regulatory reform, the formal recognition of esports as an official sport and a broad industry shift away from real-money gaming (or gambling, to some) toward esports, social gaming and original intellectual property. As the sector enters 2026, it does so leaner, more institutional and increasingly aligned with global gaming markets, according to the Game Developer Association of India (GDAI). .memberful-global-teaser-content p:last-child{ -webkit-mask-image: linear-gradient(180deg, #000 0%, transparent); mask-image: linear-gradient(180deg, #000 0%, transparent); } Read This Article Free Get instant access by joining the GB MAX Access tier — it’s free to sign up and unlock premium content.Join Now to Start ReadingAlready a member? Ever since 1993, I think I've unconsciously judged almost every game by how well it can capture how Wing Commander: Privateer made me feel. Steam and PlayStation (the two platforms I use the most) have been doing a year-in-review summary akin to the wildly popular Spotify Wrapped for the past few years. Based on these, I can report that my most-played games in 2025 were, from most hours down: No Man's SkyCivilization VIIAssassin's Creed ShadowsThe Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion RemasteredThe Lord of the Rings: Return to MoriaThe Elder Scrolls III MorrowindWorld of WarcraftMeridian 59Tainted Grail: Fall of AvalonUnreal Tournament With the exceptions of Civilization VII and Unreal Tournament, every one of those games is some kind of open-world experience that's all about immersing you in a far-flung land (or galaxy). The beauty around ARC Raiders is all about the different builds that you can try, but it's best to go with the meta if you actively engage in PvP. The meta around PvP has slightly changed from what it used to be. First, some of the skills have changed from how they used to work. Secondly, it's possible to apply 80 skill points if you maxed out your stash value to 5 million before the Expedition project began. Let's look at an extremely strong build that you can potentially use to dominate the PvP scene. Best PvP build in ARC Raiders Before deep diving into the build, let's look at how the points are distributed across the three branches. You'll want quickness in your movement, and also be able to use the environment to your advantage. Thanks to Vault Spring and Vaults on Vaults on Vaults, you can do that. Image via Metaforge. Remix by Destructoid Both Survival and Conditioning have an even investment of points just to aid your ability to stay alive while getting decent loot in the process. I went for Effortless Swing since there could be some situations when you might require melee. This build is heavily influenced by TaxiDLegend, who also shared the efficient routes when you're levelling up. I have made slight changes to the already-great build based on how I play.
