Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One: Evolved Edition is now officially a Nintendo Switch 2 game, the developer Survios revealed today. The Switch 2 version of the game will incorporate the handheld's mouse controls, switching automatically to precision mouse aiming when the Joy-**** is placed on a surface. It's available on the Nintendo eShop now. Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One: Evolved Edition originally launched as a VR game in December 2024, followed by a non-VR release on PC and PlayStation 5 on September 30, 2025. In the game, you take the role of ex-Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks as she explores the uncharted planet Purdan and meets the local xenomorphs. At IGN Live last year, Chief Product Officer TQ Jefferson talked about how Alien: Isolation influenced the development of Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One. "I could say from a sort of a narrative, visual aesthetic sort of way, it was greatly influential on Rogue Incursion. You know, often Isolation is referred to as the love letter to Alien, the first film, and we set out to make a love letter to Aliens, the second film, primarily the third act where Ripley goes down into the hive and starts, you know, giving it to the xenomorphs," he explained. So, Isolation is the benchmark. It's a wonderful game, and I think anyone that makes an Alien game, irrespective of play style or platform, is going to be thinking about that game somewhere in their conversations and in their discussions." The alien action horror is already available on Xbox Series X and S, PS5 and PC, with the promise of a PlayStation 4 version on the horizon too. It's been one year since RuneScape: Dragonwilds launched into early access, and the developers have delivered us an anniversary update. In the months since Dragonwilds was released, Jagex has stayed hard at work expanding the survival game. There have been consistent patches, fresh content, and map expansions to keep the player base invested. However, some players felt that Dragonwilds was moving too far away from its RuneScape roots with some of the previous updates, especially as the developers added new areas to the Ashenfall map. In an effort to address that, today's anniversary update in Dragonwilds aims to make the game feel more "RuneScapey" by adding more content to the starting area. In a video posted to YouTube, the Dragonwilds development team goes over everything that the anniversary update includes, starting with the addition of the first-ever RuneScape quest, "Cook's Assistant." [Hidden Content] Cook's Assistant doesn't go exactly like in the MMO versions of RuneScape, but you can access it right from the start of the game. You'll help some goblins fulfill a food order by gathering ingredients from around the starting region, giving you some decent XP and knowledge for an early playthrough. If you're a seasoned Dragonwilds player, though, you're likely more interested in the more advanced content. Fortunately, Jagex has also added the "Animal Magnetism" quest, which can be started in the Fractured Plains region. Just like in traditional RuneScape, this quest rewards you with the recipe to craft the Ava's Accumulator, which helps you save arrows when training the Ranged skill. Finally, you can now also complete the "A Room With Garou" quest, which is brand new in the world of RuneScape, and helps train your Construction skill. Speaking of skills, the anniversary update adds the Fishing skill at long last. Not only is this a new skill you can train in Dragonwilds, but you can train your Cooking skill and earn some much-needed food along with it. The new fishing skill in Dragonwilds. Image via Jagex You can unlock the Fishing skill by speaking to the Wise Old Man, which equips you with some beginner fishing gear. As you progress the skill, you'll unlock new gear and new fish to catch, which can be caught in higher-tier areas of the map. Currently, there are 12 fish types you can catch in Dragonwilds, along with three new spells specific to the skill. To round out the update, Jagex has made several quality-of-life fixes and added some smaller-scale content. Here's a quick rundown of those changes now available in Ashenfall: More Buried Treasure and better rewardsScarecrow Scavenging Two new Special Attacks for Masterwork weaponsDisplay Fish trophies in your baseCan now toggle on auto-runOpen menus while sleepingLower-tier enemies like kebbits and cows aren't aggressive unless provokedRunes stack to 9,999 in the inventoryIncreased Zamorakian Warrior Pact drop rates from Elite ****** Knights That covers the entire anniversary update in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, but Jagex has stated it is planning more content drops in the near future. MindsEye staff members are suing developer Build a Rocket Boy, after company bosses reportedly admitted installing secret surveillance software onto employee devices. Back in February, [Hidden Content] reported that Build a Rocket Boy (BARB) employees discovered the addition of Teramind employee monitoring software on their computers after their machines began running slower than usual. In a subsequent company meeting, co-CEO Mark Gerhard reportedly acknowledged that the software had been installed, and blamed "the 1% that is the problem" — another reference to his repeated, unproven claims that a handful of staff members were working from within to sabotage the company. While the Teramind software has now been removed, concerns remain over what sensitive data may have been captured, and whether data protection laws were followed. Teramind describes itself as the "#1 rated employee monitoring software" that "helps companies track work time, enhance team productivity, and secure sensitive data while respecting privacy for both in-office and remote workers." It quietly takes screenshots and "irrefutable screen recordings" while logging web and app activity, including employee keystrokes, in order to "recognize top performers" — as well as "implement targeted coaching" for those seen as lagging behind. Today, the IWGB Game Workers Union has announced legal action, and alleged that BARB's use of Teramind violated data protection laws and staff's "basic dignity" by "exceeding the legitimate remit of monitoring workers' productivity or safeguarding the company's security by recording individuals in their homes and without their consent." "Build A Rocket Boy's toxic culture of secrecy and micromanaging is one of the worst I've seen in a 20 year career in the gaming industry, said MindsEye lead cinematic animator Chris Wilson in a statement. "While they have conceded to our headline demand of removing Teramind from our devices, many questions still remain about their actions. It can only be assumed this software was added as a part of their effort to micromanage us, a product of their mistrust of their employees. It created an atmosphere of unease, something that doesn’t lead to great video game production." The action is separate to another legal bid by the IWGB, which alleges that BARB mishandled its mass layoffs last summer that saw the departure of 300 staff following MindsEye's disappointing release. The IWGB alleges that this process included "unlawful blacklisting, detriment, and failure to engage in collective consultations" and could cost the studio "millions." Microsoft said that, starting today, Game Pass Ultimate subscription prices drop from $29.99 to $22.99 a month. And PC Game Pass will also drop from $16.49 to $13.99 a month. Prices may vary by region. Beginning this year, future Call of Duty titles won’t join Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass at launch. New Call of Duty games will be added to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass during the following holiday season (about a year later), while existing Call of Duty titles already in the library will continue to be available. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will continue to have access to hundreds of games on Xbox console and PC including current Call of Duty titles, in-game benefits, online console multiplayer, and major day one releases. You can find more details on Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Essential, and PC Game Pass plans here, and manage your account here. “Our players cover a wide breadth of geographies, preferences, and tastes, so while there isn’t a single model that’s best for everyone, this change responds to a lot of feedback we’ve gotten so far. We’ll continue to listen and learn,” Microsoft said in a statement. “Thank you for being a part of the Xbox community.” The move is consistent with remarks leaked in a memo by the new Xbox CEO, Asha Sharma, about how prices for the subscriptions were too high. This solution takes Call of Duty out of the subscription for a time, allowing hardcore players to purchase it and boost overall Xbox revenues, while giving relief to the non-Call of Duty players. I'll forgive you if you don't know what a 'condo' is. In the real world, the term refers to a flat or apartment in a larger building. In Roblox, however, the term has taken on a completely different, darker meaning. Condos here are slang for games that involve ******* themes. These aren't allowed on the platform, but poor moderation from the developer means that plenty of unsavory user-generated content slips past the automated filters. However, a recent ban has shown that this may be about to change. Read the rest of the story... AOC has just unveiled one of the most exciting-looking gaming monitors I've seen so far this year. The AOC Agon Pro AG326UZD2 not only delivers a 32-inch panel size and 4K resolution, but even uses the latest 4th-gen QD-OLED technology, all while costing just $1,080. That still makes it a premium panel, but for the performance it should deliver, that's amazing value for a 32-inch OLED gaming monitor. This format of display is currently my favorite and is why the top option on our best gaming monitor guide is not dissimilar. The combination of this screen size with a 4K resolution is just such a great balance of screen real estate and sharpness. Now, with the AG326UZD2, AOC is bringing this format band up to date and delivering it at a great price. Read the rest of the story...
