Let's look at how to obtain the rewards. Screenshot by Destructoid Flying High weapon charm To get this charm, you'll need to get 100 kills on freezing enemies. You'll have to take part in the Ice Lock game mode, as it features the freezing zone mechanics. To complete the objective, you'll have to kill 100 enemies that are affected by the freezing status. 8. For more than 15 years, Jonathan Blow has been one of the most influential figures in modern puzzle game design. From Braid to The Witness, his games have consistently challenged players to rethink not just how puzzles are solved, but how rules, space, and their meanings intersect. With Order of the Sinking Star, alongside publisher Arc Games, Jonathan Blow is attempting something even larger in scope: a multi-world puzzle adventure where distinct systems gradually overlap, collide, and reshape the player’s understanding of the entire game. .memberful-global-teaser-content p:last-child{ -webkit-mask-image: linear-gradient(180deg, #000 0%, transparent); mask-image: linear-gradient(180deg, #000 0%, transparent); } Read This Article Free Get instant access by joining the GB MAX Access tier — it’s free to sign up and unlock premium content.Join Now to Start ReadingAlready a member? 19. Star Citizen is probably best known for its eye-watering, incomprehensible budget - a quick check in on Cloud Imperium Games' crowdfunding tracker shows a figure north of $925 million. I still don't fully believe it. Regardless, Star Citizen itself is evolving at a rapid pace these days, but so too is Squadron 42. This cinematic, single-player spinoff is one of my most anticipated games of next year, and in its end of year message to Star Citizen fans, Cloud Imperium has confirmed that things are moving along very nicely indeed. Not only does it claim that the game is now playable "from beginning to end," but it also says that Squadron 42 will be over 40 hours long. Read the rest of the story... 23. Use Up All Your Sick Days really takes the cake for bizarre board game concepts. The two games contained within its deck of cards are about taking sick leave from your job to prevent exhaustion. Sick days are often a point of tension between employer and employee, a conflict between productivity and profit and the unpredictable health of human beings. When I think of them, the phrase 'the horrors of capitalism' springs to mind. Why, then, would a light party game with adorable animals be a fitting theme? Read the rest of the story...
