Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead has revealed what we can expect from the next premium Warbond, Exo Experts. Helping you "stride with unwavering intent across hostile territory in a march of mech-enhanced Managed Democracy" and "demonstrate elite performance one prosperous hydraulic step at a time," the Exo Experts Warbond drops on April 28. "Machines… Our enemies… But they can also be forces for good, tools at our disposal, and when you need to fight fire with fire it is important to be an Exo Expert," the team teases on the official PlayStation blog. "The Ministry of Defense has authorised the immediate mobilisation of new Exosuits to aid in our ongoing war efforts against the enemies of Managed Democracy." As for what we get? First up is the EXO-51 Lumberer, "a modern reinvention of the Lumberers of the first Galactic War." Equipped with an anti-tank cannon and a flamethrower, you'll be able to unleash "maximum devastation upon your foes and then purge smaller enemies in the flames of Liberty." So that's nice. Meanwhile, the EXO-55 Breakthrough boasts a flak cannon and a ballistics shield, allowing you to face off with Super Earth’s toughest foes whilst laying down heavy fire, and the MGX-42 Bullet Storm, which is described as "a disposable machine gun sporting caseless ammunition in multiple barrels." There's also the SMG-203 Gallant, a submachine gun with a high rate of fire that "sacrifices clip size for increased penetration." Finally, to round out your kit, try the new P-33 Missile Pistol utilizing the latest in guided, heat-propelled rounds and a lock-on feature "proven to hit its target 60% of the time, every time." Heh. In terms of armors and capes, the O-2 Heavy Operator armor is the state-mandated uniform for Super Earth Citizens "who must operate heavy machinery and is best paired with the Watchful Compatriot cape" and comes with the Oxygenator perk allowing you to walk, run, and slide slightly quicker. The Exosuit Certified title and Thumb of Approval emote and victory pose complete the pack. Arrowhead recently spilled the beans on the 177 million(!) incidents of friendly fire we've collectively enacted in Helldivers 2's second year, pointing the finger squarely at the 34 million accidental deaths caused by the Eagle Strafing Run. As someone who likes a good ol' racing sim, there's nothing quite like the cartoon-style violence that a kart racer can provide. While Mario Kart remains locked to Nintendo consoles, and the recent World entry being a bit disappointing for a Switch 2 exclusive, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds delivers that heart-pumping goodness to all platforms, and by bringing together the blue hedgehog's best friends, as well as Minecraft, Persona, and Yakuza, along for the ride, it's a great experience. Crimson Desert looks great in general, but it suffers from a fairly extreme amount of ghosting in certain situations, and the player base is now making a note of that. Though Crimson Desert is renowned for its graphics, among other things, there's no denying that it's far from perfect in that respect, and ghosting in particular can be a hard problem for players to deal with. Tanned Leather is one of the more important resources in Windrose, and it has different purposes. Obtaining this leather isn't too difficult, but you'll need to clear a fair bit of in-game content and build an additional item. Let's find out how you can get a steady supply of Tanned Leather in the game. Table of contentsHow to get Tanned Leather in WindroseHow to use Tanned Leather in WindroseHow to get Tanned Leather in Windrose Tanned Leather can be crafted in Windrose. For starters, you'll need to collect raw hides. Raw hide can be obtained quite easily, but you'll need to hunt. If you're in the early game stage, either wolves or deer work. They're not so dangerous, and you can kill them quite easily. You'll also need your skinning knife in hand to get the hide. Now that you have your hide, you'll need to get a Tanning Rack. This item has to be unlocked via its recipe, and it allows you to dry raw hide. This process is necessary when you want to convert raw hide into Tanned Leather. You can make Clay Bottles from the Alchemy Table. Once it's done, you can now make Tannin with Hardwood Bark and a Clay Bottle. You'll need this item for the production of Tanned Leather. Image via Kraken Express Once you have built and placed your Tanning Rack, add the raw hide to one of its slots. Add either a tanning agent or a source of fuel that will be consumed during the process. If you have Tannin, it will work just fine. You'll need to wait for some time for the process to complete. Once done, you'll have your Tanned Leather. How to use Tanned Leather in Windrose Tanned Leather has plenty of use when it comes to crafting armor. Almost every mid and end-game item will need Tanned Leather. The demand for it goes up once you unlock Foothills, which is the second biome in the game. However, you can start collecting the required materials like Clay and Rough Hides early to make things easier when you'll actually need Tanned Leather in your inventory.
