  2. It was probably inevitable that a game like Cattle Country would be made. The runaway success of Stardew Valley, which put a new spin on farming games like Harvest Moon, has seen the simulation subgenre resurgent, with projects ranging from Coral Island to Dreamlight Valley finding large audiences in recent years. It's only natural, then, that a historical take on farming games would follow, with the Western American focus of Cattle Country offering a suitable setting. Now, after anticipating the project for nearly a year, Cattle Country has just launched on Steam. Read the rest of the story... 7. If you've been with us for a while, you may recall that it was kind of a big deal when Capcom announced that Monster Hunter World was coming to PC. (Alas, poor Dauntless.) We had to wait a little longer for it than our console pals, but when it finally showed up it turned out to be a big hit—and suddenly Capcom was all about gaming on PC, saying in 2021 that it wanted PC to be its main platform in the future, with a target of 50% of its sales on PC by 2022, or maybe 2023... 9. There is no shortage of areas explore during your journey through Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, but one you should add to the top of your list to revisit is Old Lumiere. This is a unique location with areas that will only become accessible only after you defeat the main boss. Most players don't even think to turn around and re-explore Old Lumiere, either because they want to continue with the story or because they don't realize there are new enemies and better loot to discover. If you haven't revisited Old Lumiere yet, make sure you put it on your list. View the full article

  11. I think there might be a chance, just ever so slightly, that the development of Cities Skylines 2 has been a bit difficult. The game launched back in October of 2023 and has suffered from performance issues, rushed DLC, and a delay to its first expansion Bridges and Ports. This expansion was meant to come soon after the Beach Properties DLC, but that obviously didn't happen, catching a delay to sometime in the second quarter of 2025 specifically to continue improving upon the base game. Except the expansion has been delayed once again. Read more View the full article
  12. A new leak suggests that Marvel Rivals could be getting Symbiote-themed skins soon. So far, Marvel Rivals has been a big success, thanks in no small part to the many different characters and alternate costumes NetEase Games adds on a regular basis. The next major Marvel Rivalscharacter to be introduced will be Ultron, who will debut as a Strategist character on May 30. View the full article
  13. Roll7 is responsible for some of the most compelling and visually striking action games to come out in the last decade. The studio is responsible for ultra tough skateboarding games OlliOlli and OlliOlli World as well as fast-paced shooters like Not a Hero and, more recently, the rollerblading focused Rollerdrome. Unfortunately, Roll7 closed up shop in 2024 and, earlier this year, even worse news came when both Rollerdrome and OlliOlli World were pulled from Steam. Just now, though, both of these delisted games have returned to Valve's platform and are available for purchase again. Read the rest of the story... 14. Disney Dreamlight Valley has just shared the first official teaser for its Summer 2025 update, and it seems like there might be more to this update than originally anticipated. Per the initial 2025 Road Map revealed at the start of the year, fans have pretty much confirmed that the summer update will be centered around Peter Pan. While originally thought to take place around or inside Skull Rock primarily, this new hint might prove otherwise. View the full article

  18. F1 25 could be a do-or-die game for Codemasters this year, as its license agreement with Formula 1 draws to a close. 19. Mini gaming PCs just keep getting smaller and smaller, but this one liter AMD Ryzen powered gaming PC might be one of the smallest I've ever seen. The Thermalright Frozen Creator is a water-cooled mini PC that is a manufacturing marvel, with an open frame design that incorporates AIO water cooling and a built-in screen. The mini PC market is booming and we have chipmakers like AMD to thank for it. The reduced power demands of modern CPUs has made it functionally possible to create the best mini gaming PC designs without heat becoming a major issue. That's allowed designs like this new Thermalright one to flourish, leaving enough power in this build for 1080p gaming without burning out. Read the rest of the story... 20. Eve Online is something of an institution at this point. The famed space MMO first came out all the way back in 2003, but continued support from its creator and players means it still offers a vision of futuristic exploration compelling enough to rival newer projects like Star Citizen or No Man's Sky. Now, in another example of developer CCP Games' commitment to its long-running game, a new expansion called Legion has arrived, bringing with it a host of additions, tweaks, and a new missions system. 21. It's been more than six years since The Division 2 launched. Still, its publisher, Ubisoft, has continued to offer support for the game in a similar manner to its ongoing work on Rainbow Six Siege, For Honor, or, more recently, Assassin's Creed Shadows and Skull and Bones. The latest example of this comes with today's launch of Battle for Brooklyn, a substantial new DLC that adds in a fresh campaign, set in the titular New York City borough, and plenty of changes to the overall game that look to reinvigorate the experience for its audience.
