  2. I've been writing a lot of stories about pirate games recently. I'm not complaining, I love pirates, but I wonder what's causing the trend. Maybe Skull and Bones being in development for so long gave everyone else time to come up with their own pirate ideas. There are also lots of city builders out there, like Manor Lords, but they can feel limiting when everything feels a bit static. Now, there's a new game that, like Manor Lords, combines city building and RTS, but, like a pirate, also gives you the freedom to roam whenever and wherever you wish. Read the rest of the story... 3. You might have noticed that the second most played game on Steam right now is Banana, which released back in April, but has seen an ********** of popularity over the past couple of weeks. If the number goes up enough, the game drops additional pictures of bananas into your Steam inventory. Actually, it's not even an idle clicker - simply leaving the game open all day is enough to generate a slow but steady supply of these banana pictures. Read more View the full article

  9. With the recent trailer for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, new players may be looking to go back and experience the rest of the Dragon Age, though they might not be sure where to start. Except for Dragon Age II, none of the previous games have a number associated with their title. There are also some game series where playing out of order doesnt matter all that much. For example, many players likely jumped into Baldurs Gate 3 without playing the previous installments, and they wouldnt have missed much if they did. View the full article

  17. Following some months of teasing, Riot Games has now officially unveiled the lore and splash art of League‘s upcoming champion, Aurora. The “Witch Between Worlds” hails from the frozen wastes of Freljord and is of the vastaya race, the same as Rengar and Ahri. Aurora comes from a small village deep in Freljord and possessed the ability from an early age to see the spirits and their strange realm. Her being unique in this regard saw her become isolated and individualistic, and the eventual discovery of “new” and stranger spirits in her home village piqued her interest and drew her away from the settlement in pursuit of knowledge. The newly-shared lore says that, eventually, Aurora came across a feral elk-spirit and wished to tame it. This eventually connected her with existing champions, Ornn and Udyr, both of whom helped her on her path. View the full article
