Version 2.2 was meant to be the cherry on top of CD Projekt Red's cake, but now the studio's trying to flambé the cherry, drizzle over some jus, and put some gold leaf on it. The surprise Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 update was set to drop later this week, and even though its contents are a mystery, it's set to be a big one. Escape From Tarkov has rightfully earned its place as one of the most realistic FPS games on PC, and a huge part of that comes from its focus on sound. As you slowly trudge through the likes of Factory or Customs, your hearing needs to be sharp. Maybe there are some footsteps above you, a firefight off in the distance, or an NPC barking orders. Whatever it is, understanding all of EFT's sounds is key to a successful extraction. That's why, with the latest Escape From Tarkov update, Battlestate Games is massively improving the overall audio experience. Read the rest of the story... Story quests often ask you to venture to unique locations and interact with unusual items in Fortnite. One of the tricky story quests you may come across tasks you with hitting hero practice targets at different hero training outposts. These targets are decently tricky to find, and sometimes glitchy to interact with, so navigating through this task can be tough. If you're struggling to get this one done, here's how to hit hero practice targets at different hero training outposts in Fortnite. Table of contentsHit hero practice targets at different hero training outposts in FortniteAll hero training outpost locations in FortniteHit hero practice targets not working in FortniteHit hero practice targets at different hero training outposts in Fortnite Screenshot by Destructoid To complete the hit hero practice targets at different hero training outposts quest in Fortnite, you need to hit three practice targets hero training outpost locations. There's only one target at each outpost, so you have to visit three unique outposts to get this task done. Each hero practice target is a small white object with two blue targets sticking out of it. It's fairly small, but generally easy to spot since there's always a white diamond icon with an exclamation point marking it. You can strike the targets using any kind of weapon you like. This includes your Pickaxe and all weapons in Chapter Six, season three. Hitting the target is easy enough, but finding the right spots to tackle this quest can be trickier. All hero training outpost locations in Fortnite There are five hero training outposts you can visit around the island, all of which are mostly situated near the upper northeast end of the map. You only need to venture to three for this quest, but knowing all of the available options makes plotting your course for this task much easier. The five hero training outposts can be found: East of the Resistance Base.Slightly south of Supernova Academy.North of Shining Span.East of Utopia City.Slightly south of Foxy Floodgate. Screenshot by Destructoid Hit hero practice targets not working in Fortnite The hero practice targets are quite buggy, and you may run into several issues while trying to finish this quest. The most common issues reported on Reddit and experienced by us as we worked on this task are the targets not appearing where they're supposed to be or not spinning when you hit them, thus not counting for the quest. There's currently no easy way to combat these issues, but when I experienced them, I found that trying again in later matches worked. Sometimes the targets appeared and could be hit right away, but other times they were invisible or couldn't be hit. Just keep visiting these spots until you manage to get it done. If you just can't get this quest to progress no matter what you do, you may need to wait for the devs to auto-complete it. When quests have issues, the devs usually eventually auto-complete them for all players. Some of the past story quests in the Trials of Morgan Myst, like copying the actions of Morgan Myst’s shadow proxies, were glitchy and ended up being auto-completed for all players. Sorry, we're not done yet, CD Projekt has said about a Cyberpunk 2077 update that also represents that same phrase, it being about the third patch to be labelled the final one the game'll be getting. Update 2.3 was originally set to be dropping on this week, but now it's been delayed so the devs can make it about the same size as its predecessor. Yeah, they're probably adding more stuff to the pile of new things we never thought Cyberpunk'd still be getting at this stage.
