Earlier this month, ***** confirmed Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds guest characters such as Hatsune Miku, Ichiban Kasuga (Yakuza), Joker (Persona 5), and even Steve, Alex, and Creeper from Minecraft. But the guest characters do not stop there. ***** has now announced a Nickelodeon collaboration that brings SpongeBob SquarePants to the track — and teased Avatar and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters down the line. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is a kart racer packed with ***** characters and as such celebrates the company’s history. In addition, big-name guest characters are helping to flesh out the roster of racers. As part of that, those who buy the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Digital Deluxe Edition get the Season Pass, which includes the Nickelodeon content as well as the recently announced Minecraft characters, vehicles, and tracks, characters from the Netflix series, Sonic Prime, and two more yet-to-be-announced collaborations. The trailer below shows off SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star racing the Patty Wagon, a vehicle shaped like a Krabby Patty from the SpongeBob SquarePants series, across the Bikini Bottom track (Bikini Bottom is the main setting in the SpongeBob SquarePants series). ***** has said CrossWorlds will feature a huge roster of over playable characters, if you include DLC. Characters you’d expect to see, such as Sonic, Dr. Eggman, Knuckles, Shadow, and Tails are present and correct, but now you can add the likes of SpongeBob SquarePants into the mix. CrossWorlds is of course going up against Switch 2 exclusive kart game Mario Kart World, which has so far resisted adding guest characters from outside the Nintendo pantheon. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is set for release on both the Switch and the Switch 2, so it looks like we’ll be set for some old-fashioned Mario vs. Sonic kart racing rivalry when *****'s effort launches in September. IGN recently went hands-on with Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and came away impressed. “It’s a vibe,” we said, “and one that I’ve enjoyed and will look forward to drifting through.” Wesley is Director, News at IGN. Several leakers in the Genshin Impact community have made the rather surprising claim of Neuvillette receiving a new skin during Nod-Krai. As one of the most popular 5-Star characters in Genshin Impact, Neuvillette has an unshakable place in the meta and a formidable number of fans. Neuvillette and Furina were some of the biggest stars of the Fontaine era, while the Natlan era gave them plenty of new teammates to work with – Escoffier, Xilonen, and Citlali being notable examples. If you were alive when the original Final Fantasy 7 was released, it probably made an impact on you, one way or another. Whether it was peers discussing it or engaging in it yourself, it was a cultural phenomenon. I remember trading discs one, two, and three with classmates to get through it, and chatting about all the different story beats. It turns out superstar Robert Pattinson was going through the same moment. View the full article

Indie title PEAK might not have many glitches and bugs, but there are occasions where the game is known to ****** when you're at the TROPICS. The TROPICS is one of the several biomes available inside the game. As of writing, several players on the game's Steam discussion forum have discussed random crashes. The exact cause behind this ****** is unknown, but it might be due to improper optimization of the gaming client. There are a few tips and tricks you can try out to minimize the chances of these crashes. Potential PEAK crashing at TROPICS fixes Until there's an official fix from the developers, here are a few steps to ensure minimal crashes during your race to the top, as suggested by a moderator-approved posting on the Steam forums: Screenshot via Landcrab Update your graphics driver: One of the biggest causes of video game crashes is outdated graphics drivers. Whether using an AMD or NVIDIA device, update your driver to the latest version available. This will automatically reduce crashes of all kinds in PEAK and is generally good practice.Force the game to run on DX12: Go to your Steam library and open the properties section of PEAK. Go to advanced launch options, type in the code fragment: -force-d3d12, and save the change. Your game will automatically use DX12 the next time you run it.Cap the FPS: Cap the maximum FPS rate to a number that matches your monitor's refresh rate.Look down: The post suggests that looking down at the ground when you enter TROPICS can also prevent game crashes. A future patch should likely resolve the issues. Until then, your best bet is to run the game on DX12 after updating your in-game client. The official release date for EA FC 26 is not known yet, but leaks have emerged regarding the pre-order rewards. It's pretty clear that EA Sports, after a year of incurring hard financials with one of its biggest franchises, is going all in to lure more players to opt for the Ultimate Edition. Now, remember that none of this is confirmed. However, it will be hard to turn down the Ultimate Edition if the leaked rewards are true, especially compared to what they used to be. FC 26 leaked pre-order rewards include guaranteed Icons Here's a list of all the leaked pre-order rewards. Untradeable Base Icon at launchAdditional Evo Slot at launch4600-6000 FC PointsSeason 1 Premium PassUp to 7 days of early accessUnique 93+ Icon Evolution in FC 25. It's not stated that the rewards are meant for the Ultimate Edition, but that has been the norm for the last few years. As always, the Ultimate Edition is expected to cost more than the Standard Edition (by at least $20, but that could increase, given the rewards we are supposed to get). [Hidden Content] Based on the leaks, we must order our copy on or before August 26 to secure the rewards. This also suggests that EA Sports has no plans for an earlier release, as some leakers claimed. Here's a comparison of what we got with the Ultimate Edition of FC 25. Untradeable Hero player item (upgradeable to Prime version later).4600 FC PointsEarly Access Rush rewardsPremium EvolutionUp to seven days of early access Ask anyone, and they will tell you that a day-one base Icon is always preferable to a Hero. Even if you get one of the lower-tier legends, that card will add much value. The premium version of Season 1 Pass means you're saving $10 worth of FC Points further and get additional rewards (they will have incredible value when our squads are low on good cards and coins). The difference between the Standard and Ultimate Editions has always been debated. The leaked rewards suggest that EA Sports wants to increase the sales of the Ultimate Edition. While players can and will always purchase packs, spending more on the Ultimate Edition is a guaranteed bonus for the developers at no extra cost. Additionally, it will also boost their revenues and show the financials in good light to the investors at the end of the financial year. It remains to be seen whether the leaks are true and whether these "Iconic" attractions will be good enough to lure more players in. As you and your friends climb the mountain in PEAK, you’ll probably pick up a few Ticks. Ticks measure how much damage you've taken, and if you rack up many of them, your sojourn to the summit will come to a premature and gruesome end. Luckily, getting rid of ticks in PEAK is a lot easier than it is in real life. Once you know how to render yourself tick-free, your trek to the roof of the world will become a lot less stressful. Table of contentsHow to remove Ticks in PEAKWhen should you get rid of Ticks in PEAK?How to remove Ticks in PEAK Screenshot via Landcrab To rid yourself of Ticks in PEAK, you'll need to use one of several healing items that might spawn on your ascent. Some healing items only heal the Ticks you incur when you slip off the mountain and crack a few ribs, while others wash away the Ticks you get from status ailments like Poison or Frost. And a few are reliable cure-alls that burn away all the Ticks on you or a friend's person. Here are all the items capable of removing Ticks in PEAK. We're still figuring out how every item in the game works, so there's a good chance that there are more than the ones we've listed. As you climb the mountain, you and your friends will get hurt, and you'll probably have to make a split-second decision about where to heal yourself. Should you use that Antidote to remove all those Poison Ticks you got from that funny-colored mushroom? Or should you soldier on and shun healing until you have no choice but to use that Cursed Skull sitting ominously in your inventory? Since all the healing items in PEAK work differently, think hard about your current situation before you decide to use one. If one of your party members' legs is more ice than flesh and blood, toss them a Heat Packet if they don't have one. If your entire party is barely hanging on (literally and figuratively), throw a Remedy ******* and get a huddle going.
