Just in time for the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, streamer itzCBD has beat FromSoftware’s flagship game from start to NG+7 without leveling up or dying once. This seemingly marks the first time a player has achieved such a milestone. ItzCBD attained this colossal achievement today, June 20 when he beat the Elden ****** on NG+7 after nearly 17 hours of continuous play. The streamer began his run with the Wretch class and beat all of the game’s bosses eight times without ever dying or putting a single point into his stats. This means he stayed at level one from start to finish as other classes begin with a few levels each. Bangalore and Bloodhound formed one of Apex Legends‘ simplest and most effective synergies: Bangalore blocked vision with her smoke, and Bloodhound’s ultimate allowed them to see through that smoke. But following changes to both characters with massive implications for their playstyle, ALGS players could turn to an old favorite—Seer. In the patch notes for Apex‘s Double Take event, the legend balance changes noted alterations to Bangalore and Bloodhound that change fundamental aspects of their ability kits both have had since the early days of Apex. Enemies inside of Bangalore’s smokes will now show as white outlines to other players also inside of the smoke. While these outlines won’t show to players outside of the smoke, it’s still a huge change that impacts the effectiveness of Bangalore’s smokes to make combat more difficult and help her team reset. But it also sneakily buffs her in situations where teams want to aggress and take a clean ******, giving the teams fighting a clear view of each other while hiding the action from those outside the smokes. Meanwhile, Bloodhound’s ultimate no longer sees through smokes or gas. Enemies will only appear highlighted in red if nothing interrupts their line of sight to Bloodhound. View the full article

Destiny 2 The Final Shape had a different ending before Bungie delayed it until June 2024—and its reveal proves that Bungie did the right thing by taking the time to work on the expansion. Spoilers ahead, of course. Destiny Bulletin posted the pre-delay version of Destiny 2 The Final Shape ending cinematic, which was revealed by Bungie on June 18. The cinematic is an alternative version of the cutscene where Cayde-6 sacrifices himself to bring our Ghost back after defeating The Witness. Valve only found it apt to publish a single tweet for this landmark milestone, leaving many Counter-Strike fans disgruntled and disappointed. Counter-Strike launched into beta on June 19, 1999, precisely 25 years ago. For the 20th anniversary of the franchise, Valve launched a CS20 case in 2019, which included numerous skins inspired by the franchise’s history.
