  6. Atlus game fans are looking forward to Metaphor: ReFantazio, but the game is going to be missing a common mechanic of Persona games that players enjoy: building romances with NPCs. Those changes don’t seem to be the only new element in the patch, though; the developer acknowledged a bug that may cease the spawn of the final boss in the Legend difficulty. View the full article
  10. If you were making a big medieval drink and your ingredients included city building from games like Manor Lords, survival elements from games like Valheim, and the in-depth open-endedness from RPGs such as Mount and Blade, you'd end up with a ********* by the name of Bellwright. This ambitious strategy survival RPG mashup has been eagerly awaited and having just launched into Steam Early Access, it's rocketed up into the top ten best seller list. 13. With Ubisoft being tight-lipped about its plans for future games, details about the next *********’s Creed installments are few and far between. Leaked internal footage, however, has pulled back the curtain on *********’s Creed: Codename Hexe, which is shaping to be the “darkest” entry in the series yet. Naturally, these are unconfirmed leaks, so take them with a grain of salt—although their source is a generally reliable one. It’s already known Codename Hexe will take place during the 16th-century witch trials of the Holy Roman Empire, but it hasn’t been quite clear how that setting will impact the game’s story and mechanics until now. Making friends with the citizens of Pelican Town is one of the core pillars of Stardew Valley but for those players who don't want to spend all that time researching who likes and dislikes what, an excellent new cheat sheet makes the process much simpler. Ahead of the showcase, PCGamesN spoke to Accel Sjöstrom from Pathos about its new game, the challenges of development, and making it fun to fail. Read the rest of the story... View the full article
  24. I've only given two 10/10 reviews in my career: Diablo 4 and Martha is *****. The former, well, you've probably heard of that one, but the latter is an indie horror game set in World War II. Even if you haven't played it, you may have heard of a particular scene involving the removal of someone's face. Yes, LKA's bizarre tale of tragedy and woe isn't one for the faint of heart. But now the developer is back and working with Wired Productions on another adventure that potentially involves, well, mermaids. Read the rest of the story...
