  3. If you’re an avid League of Legends player, chances are you’ve encountered Sylas’ wonky interactions with other champion’s ultimate abilities, where they don’t work as intended. Riot is working on fixing these “inconsistencies,” but they might take longer than you think. Unlike other champions, Sylas’ ultimate ability, *******, relies heavily on securing enemies’ ultimates, making the Demacian Mageseeker a great ****** counter-pick to many League of Legends champions. 4. Having to choose to pull for Arlecchino or Lyney in Genshin Impact 4.6’s banners can be a difficult task, especially considering how similar the characters are in some aspects and whether or not they will fit some team comps. Arlecchino is finally becoming a playable character after her debut as an NPC during the Fontaine storyline – in fact, she is the only new character in Genshin Impact 4.6. Nevertheless, the patch is bringing in a load of content beyond her release as a playable unit. This includes a new area to the south of the Fontaine region. View the full article

  7. Hello there, EA Sports FC 24 lovers. I know it's been a little while and you've just started getting some nice Team of the Season Ultimate Team upgrades to collect, but a fresh title update's also just rocked up for the game. Sadly, it's without any freaky red and blue non-humans to demo changes, and it stops you from, er, avoiding unemployment. Yes, you heard me. Stop trying to pack Kai Havertz for a minute, this a serious one for folks who love playing manager mode, and can't resist keeping the threat of being let go switched on, even though all of their signings always turn out to be terrible and their tactics haven't evolved since 2004. As detailed in the notes for EA FC 24's title update 13, one of the fixes it enacts stops Career Mode managers casually frauding their way back into jobs. Basically, what was previously happening was that sometimes, when your club decided to chuck you out of the window for spending $100 million on a goalie and then playing him as a number 10 and terminated your contract, "the next job offer [you got] could have incorrectly been for the same club". 8. Movement in Destiny 2 has always been smooth and responsive. Guardians use Sparrows for speed, but what if I told you there was an even faster way? It may be ridiculous, but here’s how to Mountaintop Skate in Destiny 2.What is Mountaintop Skating in Destiny 2?Mountaintop Skating may be a goofy name, but it explains the ability well. Guardians can use the Mountaintop Grenade Launcher to fly across the map.Skating has existed for a long time but is usually a class-specific movement technique that’s quite advanced and requires strict timing. The best thing about Mountaintop Skating is that it requires no special gear or subclass. What do I need to Mountaintop Skate in Destiny 2?Screenshot: PC InvasionThere are two prerequisites for Mountaintop Skating. The most obvious is the Mountaintop Grenade Launcher itself. Oddly enough, I recommend getting the old version of the Mountaintop instead of the Brave one. 9. Quentin Tarantino recently announced he's no longer making The Movie Critic as his final film, but some details about it have now come to light. Last week, Tarantino put The Movie Critic on the chopping block after previously stating it would be his 10th and final film. Details about the film are slim, though it had been reported that Brad Pitt would return as Cliff Booth from the 2018 Tarantino-directed Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but it was unclear in what capacity. Now, a new report from The Hollywood Reporter, has offered some more details on what the film might have been like, painting a clearer picture as to how Pitt's character would have been involved. According to sources familiar with the project that spoke with THR, The Movie Critic would have been somewhat of a meta, crossover kind of film that would have placed Tarantino's films within the 70s, as if they had been made then, allowing the director to bring back some of the big names he's worked with over the years to reprise their characters in "movie within a movie" moments. This potentially would have had the actors playing fictional versions of themselves as the actors who played those characters. Read more View the full article
  10. A reliable source in the Genshin Impact community has revealed which Ascension and Talent materials players need to pre-farm in order to level up Sethos once Version 4.7 launches. While Clorinde and Sigewinne are arguably the main stars of Version 4.7, Genshin Impact has proven time and again that its 4-Star characters can measure up. Fischl, Bennett, and Xiangling are mainstays in the Spiral Abyss, while specialized supports such as Faruzan excel in their role. View the full article
  11. Manor Lords‘ price has been a mystery for quite some time, but the game’s publisher, Hooded Horse, shared information that should reassure fans worried about their wallets. In a Reddit thread on April 23, the CEO of Hooded Horse, Tim, revealed why Manor Lords‘ prices aren’t public, and it has to do with regional pricing. Tim said Manor Lords has regional prices, just like all the other games on Steam, and declaring the price in advance can lead to misunderstandings. “People will be concluding the game is unaffordable in their region when at launch they will have pricing that will work for them,” he said. 15. Netflix's One Piece is shaking things up a touch, as one of its showrunners switches roles to make way for a writer from Disney Plus' Percy Jackson show. It's a good time to be Joe Tracz. Having served as a writer for a couple of episodes on the generally well received Percy Jackson show, as reported by Variety, he's now making his way over to Netflix to head up One Piece as co-showrunner alongside Matt Owens. He'll be taking the place of Steven Maeda, who developed the first season alongside Owens, and will now be shifting into an executive producer role. "Joe has brought a wealth of enthusiasm and experience into our second season that will help take One Piece to new heights," Owens said in a statement. "We're incredibly lucky to have him as a co-captain of this ship. The best crew on the seas grows larger!" Tracz himself was, unsurprisingly, enthusiastic about joining the show, saying, "I've been lucky to work on big adaptations of several beloved series, and they don’t come ******* or more beloved than One Piece. I'm a huge fan of Oda-san's incredible imagination and I was blown away by what the live-action team created in season one. So it's a dream and a joy to come aboard the Going Merry as it enters the Grand Line for an even more giant season two." Read more View the full article

  19. The ongoing success of the Fallout TV show has fuelled renewed interest in the Fallout games ever since it hit Prime Video, and now Bethesda has confirmed just how big an impact it’s made. In a series of social media posts, Bethesda said almost five million jumped in across all Fallout games in just a single day. That includes the likes of the original, Interplay-published Fallout games, Bethesda’s Fallout 3, 4, and 76, Obsidian’s Fallout: New Vegas, and mobile game Fallout Shelter. Bethesda also singled out Fallout 76, its most recent mainline Fallout game, which saw over one million people play in a single day. ...and almost five million across all Fallout games in a single day! — Fallout (@Fallout) April 23, 2024 While Microsoft, Sony, and mobile platforms fail to disclose player numbers, we had a good idea of how well the Fallout games were doing post-show via Steam, which makes concurrent player numbers publicly available. All Fallout games on Valve’s platform enjoyed a boost, with Fallout 4 seeing the most number of players followed by the multiplayer-focused Fallout 76, then New Vegas. Data trackers have said Fallout Shelter has seen a revenue boost, too. Fallout games are so popular right now that even Nexus Mods is struggling to cope. All this comes ahead of the release of the Fallout 4 next-gen update on April 25, which is certain to boost that game’s player numbers even further. The makers of the hotly anticipated mod Fallout London are unimpressed, however — they say they were “blindsided” by Bethesda’s next-gen update release date announcement. The Fallout TV show is a hit, then, and Season 2 is already announced. The showrunners have already confirmed its setting and discussed how they plan to handle it with the video games in mind. To keep you going until Season 2, be sure to check out IGN’s wide-ranging, spoiler-filled interview with Bethesda Game Studios executive Todd Howard and executive producer and director Jonathan Nolan. 20. Steam’s refund policy ******** the best in the industry, and today, Valve made a small change to how it considers a certain tier of games. In recent years, more and more major releases have started allowing customers to play early. Usually, this window is two to four days, and players get it by buying (or upgrading to) a deluxe, ultimate or other kinds of more expensive editions. Previously, however, Steam’s refund policy did not consider this - until now. Read more View the full article
  21. Hello there. You might be aware that, following the arrival of Amazon's Fallout TV show lots of people have been, well, playing Fallout games. It's a trend that's been pushing modding sites into new territory when it comes to serving folks ways to spice up their favorite Fallout, and now Bethesda's casually revealed some of the actual player numbers involved. It's important to note that - while hype for the second season of Amazon's Fallout is already building - Fallout 4's next-gen update hasn't even dropped quite yet. So, there's probably a chance the numbers I'm about to chuck at your face have a chance to climb at least a little bit further soon. In a couple of tweets form the offical Fallout account, Bethesda revealed that "almost five million" players were recorded in total across all of the titles in the Fallout series during a single day recently. To put that in context, that's almost a million more people than the entire estimated population of Croatia as of 2022 - which was just over 3.8 million - playing the likes of Fallout 4, New Vegas, and probably like five people playing Fallout: Tactics. 23. The Into the Light update for Destiny 2 added some of the best PvE content we’ve seen in the past few years with Onslaught, and players hope it lasts longer than the average activity. Onslaught has everything you can possibly want from an activity: Replayability, great loot, and a degree of challenge on both Normal and Legend difficulties. It quickly became Guardians’ favorite, and on April 23, Destiny 2 players on Reddit agreed Bungie has to keep developing the activity after The Final Shape launches. View the full article
