The newest test of that promise will be Ubisoft's *********'s Creed Mirage, which now has a release date and pricing information. Mirage will land on compatible iPhones—the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max—on June 6, according to Ubisoft (though the App Store listing says June 10.) That coincides pretty closely with Apple's annual developer conference, so we'd expect it to get a shoutout there. Ubisoft's blog post also says it will come to the iPad Air and iPad Pro models with an M1 chip or later. The game will be a free download with a 90-minute free trial. After that, you'll have to pay $50 to keep playing, which is pretty close to what the game costs on PC and consoles. It will support cross-progression, provided you sign into Ubisoft Connect. Ubisoft Connect is not exactly beloved by players, but it's nice to be able to take your saves back and forth between other platforms if you can stomach it. Looks like Twitch is the latest content platform to adopt the TikTok formula. Earlier today, the streaming platform announced the launch of its Discovery Feed, an infinitely scrolling showcase of live streams and clips available on the Twitch mobile app. As of its initial launch, the Discovery Feed is separated into the Live and Clips tabs, allowing users to switch between currently broadcasting channels and popular clips. League of Legends’ in-game item shop received some massive changes at the start of the 2024 ranked season, with the biggest tweak coming in the form of the removal of Mythic items. In an upcoming patch, though, many of League’s items are set to receive even more changes, with almost all of the adjustments being targeted specifically at one position on Summoner’s Rift. While many players were satisfied with the majority of the changes that hit the live servers this season, one subset of the League population was left hanging. According to Riot’s internal surveys, ADC players were left most unsatisfied with the 2024 item changes. Fallout 4 was the first in the franchise to transition to modern gameplay, and in doing that came with major improvements to its predecessors Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. Though the previous games in the franchise are still excellent in their own right, as time went on their flaws became more apparent. Performance and stability became inconsistent and ultimately brought down the arguably generational games. During an April 29 conference call, Alan Wake 2 developer Remedy claimed it cannot speculate on a potential Steam release “at the moment.” The studio expressed hopes players will “find [the game] on the Epic Games Store,” where it is exclusively available for PC users. Thus far, Alan Wake 2 has been exclusively hosted on Epic Games’ storefront for PC players, with many hoping for a potential move to Steam. Other games have done the same in the past, with timed exclusivity on EGS and an eventual Steam port.
