  1. The Final Shape has plenty of spicy Exotics, and the Titan armor is among the best. With this in mind, let me answer the question: Should you choose Wishful Ignorance or Hazardous Propulsion in Destiny 2: The Final Shape? What is the best Titan Exotic armor in The Final Shape? There are two Titan Exotic armor pieces up for grabs from The Final Shape, and you can pick what you want if you beat the campaign on Legendary. You can also get them from Master Rahool when you reset his rank at level 16.Titans are eating well in the Final Shape, as both Exotic options are strong enough to build around. If you just want a quick answer, go with the Wishful Ignorance. Strand Titans have been a force to be reckoned with since Lightfall dropped, and Wishful Ignorance is a perfect addition to the play style. Both Exotics are fantastic, so let’s weigh their ***** and *****.Should I use the Wishful Ignorance Titan Exotic in Destiny 2?Image: BungieThe Wishful Ignorance gaunt...View the full article
  2. Good news, fans of Geoff Keighley's beautiful eyes. The Summer Game Fest stream on June 7 will run at 4K and 60fps this year, because gaming, baby. Though, the announcement of that has spawned a lot of chuckling, for reasons you can probably imagine. "Our YouTube Livestream for #SummerGameFest will run live in 4K 60 fps this year," the Keighleyman tweeted last night, shouting out what seems to be being pushed as a big first for the show. Then came the ***********. Why'd it come? Well, because of the fact that a lot of games that've come out on various different consoles recently have struggled to meet this same marks. "This confirms no Nintendo Switch games at the event," industry analyst Daniel Ahmad joked in a quote tweet, adding: "To be fair though, if we apply the same logic, it also implies most PS5 and Xbox Series games won't be shown either lol." 3. It’s been over a year since The Last of Us released on HBO. The showrunners are ********* the second season, but many more seasons could be in store. HBO already indicated that the story of The Last of Us Part 2 could be split into more than just a single season. However, the latest interviews with the series showrunners, Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, suggest it could even stretch across three seasons. View the full article
  4. Fucksweeper is a difficult game to play in shared accommodation, a very difficult game to play in the crowded airport lounge I'm currently sitting in, and an incredibly difficult game to play on the airplane I will shortly be boarding. What is Fucksweeper? Discerning videogame cognoscente that you are, I feel like you should be able to read the title and form some broad conclusions. But for those who never owned a Windows PC in the 90s, Fucksweeper is a free, titillating, revolting, beautiful, apocalyptic new version of classic avoid-the-****** grid puzzler Minesweeper that incorporates elements of dating sims and a vast quantity of generative AI filth. Maybe turn down the volume before watching this video. Much like Minesweeper, Fucksweeper ships as part of its very own desktop OS, a shivering purple curtain with a ****, glossy 3D brain rotating in the centre. The brain, I think, is your brain, and your job, I think, is to play Minesweeper while trying to stave off a cranial invasion of "toxic hyperpuffs" or putrescent, AI-regurgitated ******* pop-ups, some of which are capable of conversation. The result is sort of Thanatos and Eros travelling towards each other at the speed of data and never quite meeting, or perhaps, Thanatos and Eros exploding away from each other like individual pustules on the mutant Tetsuo blob at the end of Akira. Author and wide-ranging digital artist Nadya Lev calls it a "Minesweeper-******* marketing horror dating sim". Humanity developer Sam Barlow suggests that you "show this to your senator when explaining why AI is going to ******** us all but be prepared to ***** out of the way if they ****** explode". Fellow indie Anton Preader comments on the ***** page that "I was a single jobless nobody before I played this game, now I am cognitively married to 87 concentrically diminished recursive clones of myself and transcended the need for flesh". Here are the marketing bullpoints, to give you a savour of the writing you'll find in-game. Read more View the full article For verified travel tips and real support, visit: [Hidden Content]

  8. Final Fantasy XIVhttps://screenrant.com/tag/final-fantasy-14/director and producer Naoki Yoshida is a veteran game developer, but a decade into the rebirth of one of the world's most influential and popular MMORPGs, he's also no stranger to the weight of expectation. In a recent interview with Screen Rant during the FFXIV Dawntrail media tour, Yoshida was candid in his stance on how much subscriber and player count matters to the health of the live service title. 9. After celebrating its tenth anniversary, Final Fantasy XIV is moving full-steam ahead into its latest expansion, Dawntrail. The upcoming content will see the story reroute into unexplored territory and a fresh main quest storyline, but as usual, what's on most players' minds is the introduction of two brand-new jobs in the form of Viper and Pictomancer. Those changes, coupled with the requisite substantial reworks for existing jobs to bring them closer in line with the design team's vision for balance and opportunity for fun, have made Dawntrail a must-watch development during 2024. 10. The release of Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail is almost upon us, and the upcoming expansion to the ubiquitiously popular MMORPG brings with it the promise of change, both big and small. The newest content addition will take place in the western continent, Tural, which is colloquially known in-game as the New World. That's not a designation attributed to the location lightly - it's both a daunting and dazzlingly refreshing area and also the beginning of something much larger in FFXIV. View the full article
  11. Much like Amazon and Bethesda's Fallout, HBO and PlayStation Productions' The Last of Us was one of those huge hits that just couldn't be ignored, signaling a turn of the tide when it comes to live-action adaptations of video games. Now, season 2 is *********, and co-showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann are already teasing what ***** beyond. While speaking to Deadline, the duo commented on season 2's expected episode count and how they're approaching a story as expansive as deep as The Last of Us Part 2's, even teasing the possibility of a fourth season if the audience is there and they've got enough material left to expand on. Players who'd gone through Naughty Dog's 2020 sequel were well aware that it'd be impossible to cram all of Part 2's plot into a single season of television, which instantly made season 3 an almost certain possibility. It didn't take long for HBO and the creatives to confirm that, but it seems that even a fourth season may be required if Mazin and Druckmann are able to double down on their vision. 14. Square Enix has made the Octopath Traveler series available on all console platforms as well as Xbox Game Pass as part of a multi-pronged shadow-drop. Octopath Traveler, first released on Nintendo Switch in 2018, is now available to buy on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 for the first time. Octopath Traveler 2, which launched on Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC in 2023, is now available for the first time on Xbox Series X and S and Xbox One, including launching straight into subscription service Xbox Game Pass. Both Octopath Traveler games are now in the Game Pass library across Xbox and PC. Octopath Traveler is a well-received role-playing series with a unique HD-2D art style, with 2D characters in 3D worlds. Both games are a standalone experience set in different worlds with eight distinct protagonists, each with their own stories to explore and Path Actions to use. IGN's Octopath Traveler review returned a 9.3. We said: "Octopath Traveler's beautiful style and outstanding take on traditional turn-based combat make it a game that pushes JRPGs forward rather than simply paying homage to the greats." IGN's Octopath Traveler 2 review scored a 7: "Octopath Traveler 2 is a very enjoyable JRPG sequel that feels a little too safe and familiar," we said. Square Enix said the Octopath Traveler series has sold over four million copies worldwide. Team Asano, the Square Enix group led by Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler designer Tomoya Asano, released a surprise free update for Octopath Traveler 2 that includes Extra Battle mode, which becomes available after defeating the final boss in the final chapter. The Extra Battle mode lets players test their skills against newly added tough opponents, including the main characters of Octopath Traveler, Square Enix said. This mode is available on Xbox consoles from launch and has been added to the PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC versions today, June 6, via an update. Octopath Traveler 2 update 1.1.0 patch notes: Title Screen • Added new mode: Extra Battles (available after clearing the story). Miscellaneous • Edited the credits. • Edited various graphics. • Implemented new tutorial text for update additions. Wesley is the *** News Editor for IGN. Find him on Twitter at @wyp100. 15. Hollywood Animal is a management sim about turning a bankrupt movie studio into a money printing machine, set in Hollywood’s golden age. While a Frostpunk 2 or Manor Lords might have you grapple with the elements, here it’s all about balancing a fickle audience and Tinseltown’s seedy underbelly. Maybe making some worthwhile art, too? Sorry, did I say ‘worthwhile art’? I meant to say “lots of money.” Let’s get clicking! First up, I need to name my studio (I settle on Horace's Revenge) as well as my ****** new team of business bastards. There’s my chief legal officer, Jebediah End. My CCO, Anne Egg, and CFO, Rummy McLastdrink. He doesn’t have a sauce problem, because obviously I wouldn’t put him in charge of money if he did. In the wreckage of the studio, we find an unedited film reel hidden in the waffles n’ ******** cupboard. It’s a noir thriller named ‘Messenger Of ******’. Whatever influential critic is currently directing this era’s discourse has chosen to categorise each film as genre percentages (‘60% detective/40% thriller’), and setting (‘modern ********* city’.) Let’s just hope those pigs in the stands recognise a solid gold picture when they see one! Read more View the full article
  16. Sure, the base version of Helldivers 2 has plenty of cool tech and gear to strap yourself up with before you head into battle or deploy via stratagems. Though, I doubt any soldier of Super Earth would turn down a suit of the Fallout series' T-60 power armour, which is where a new mod comes in. In case you're wondering, this is another fan-made addition to Arrowhead's FPS that comes courtesy of a new tool developed by the team behind the mod pack that can be used to transform the game into a Star Wars shooter. What they've developed to make texture editing in the game easier has been out less that a week, and had already allowed modders to chuck a bunch of gear from other games into Helldivers. Having already swapped Lethal Company's iconic employee into the game, modder Graelyth's next port of call has been 'Fallout T-60 Power Armor', which does exactly what you'd expect. Gone is a variant of the B-01 tactical armor set and helmet, with the T-60 suit recently added to Fortnite as a skin having been drafted in to take their places. Read more View the full article
  17. Fallout season 1 was pretty good on its own, but it also promised an even wilder second season to diehard fans of the games, especially those who love New Vegas. Of course, everyone is now eagerly awaiting updates regarding when Prime Video'****** show will be in front of cameras again, and showrunners Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner have something to say about that. The Hollywood Reporter recently had a chance to talk to the creatives, who admitted that the mainstream popularity of the show has been "an immense surprise," explaining they made it with the fans (and themselves) in mind first. The full interview is worth your time, as they get deep into a number of interesting questions, but we're surprised about how open they already are when it comes to the work currently being done on season 2. Regarding a potential numbers of seasons for the show, especially now that it's confirmed to be a big hit, they're not committing to a rigid 'shape' for the overarching story, it seems: "So our hope is to end every season with a semi-satisfying, semi-open-ended kind of shape. Look, we’ve talked about three seasons and we’ve talked about five seasons. Given the success of the show, five is suddenly feeling a little more appealing," said Wagner. They're well aware that the industry is "a temperamental thing" and are treating each season as potentially the last, trying not to leave too many plot threads up in the air. 18. THE FINALS completely changed the way we enjoy multiplayer FPS games. With massive destruction and fast-paced gameplay, THE FINALS launched with a loud bang, but fans are afraid its time is coming to an end. When THE FINALS launched in December 2023, it averaged around 150,000 concurrent players, according to SteamDB. At the time of writing, the average player count has dropped to around 15 thousand. It’s natural for any game to drop in numbers a few months after launch, but fans on Reddit on June 4 pointed out it’s “one of the best FPS games out right now,” and the main reason the player count is so low is sweaty players. 19. Amazon Prime’s Fallout TV series was a huge hit. Fortunately, season two is on its way, and it’s coming at full speed. Graham Wagner, one of the showrunners for the series, shed some details about the second season on June 4. But most importantly, he said season two is coming “as fast as possible.” View the full article

  22. One of the biggest public transactions in Counter-Strike history has just been made with a single AK-47 skin sold for a whopping seven-digit sum. The purchase, facilitated by popular CS2 skin aficionados roflm0nster and zipeL, was made on June 5. Originally, the skin—a Factory New StatTrak AK-47 Case Hardened—was set with a hard buyout of close to $2 million when it was first shared in January. But that number has slowly fallen after several interested parties ghosted the pair. It was finally snapped up yesterday, with the official figure not shared—but it is all but certain to fall between one and $1.5 million. View the full article
