Microsoft is removing 5 games from the Xbox Game Pass catalog on Sunday, June 30, including a handful of well-received titles. The console manufacturer's gaming subscription service is refreshed on a consistent basis. Although many new games get added to the Xbox Game Pass library as part of that regular cadence, several titles are unfortunately pulled from the service as well. As such, Xbox players often need to keep an eye on the games scheduled to leave Microsoft's subscription service in order to make sure they can try out the ones they want to play before they're taken out of the Game Pass catalog. The Cerulean Coast is an eerie and mysterious location in the Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree. Nonetheless, it is one of the five main areas that make up the DLC's map, the Land of Shadow. You can see for yourself in-game by locating the Southern Shore map fragment . Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail is finally here, but to the surprise of no one, it has launched with a few issues - luckily producer Naoki "Yoshi-P" Yoshida has promised some fixes. When I say "new MMO expansion launch" you say "day one issues!" Yes, Dawntrail, the latest expansion for the hit MMO Final Fantasy 14 is here, and like many expansions before it, it has arrived with some notable issues. While it seems like it has managed to escape Endwalker's server issues at launch, Yoshi-P has outlined some of the problems the game is currently facing in a recent post, alongside plans for fixes. "Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who has been playing Dawntrail since the start of early access," writes Yoshi-P. "However, I would like to offer my sincere apologies regarding the issues that we have identified and listed below. Please let me explain the status of the investigation behind their causes and the measures we plan to take to address them." First off, the producer addresses an issue in the Xbox version where the game becomes unresponsive when transitioning between areas. "Our preliminary investigation suggests that this issue is likely due to a phenomenon known as memory fragmentation", he explains. "We are currently conducting a comprehensive investigation into the matter, which we have prioritized to ensure a swift resolution. However, rectifying this issue requires the deployment of a patch to update the client. At gamescom latam 2024, we had the chance to check out some brand-new gameplay firsthand of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, and it included a look at such newly announced characters in action like Mr. ****** and Future Trunks as well as a glimpse of the story mode. This preview followed a new Sword vs. Fist trailer that showcased just some of the 160 characters that will be part of this latest entry in the beloved Budokai Tenkaichi series, including Super Vegito, Jiren, Roasie, Ribrianne, Yajirobe, Spopovich, Dabura, Anilaza, Goku (Super) Ultra Instinct - Sign-, and Goku ****** Super Saiyan Rose. In our new look, which you can see below, we get to see more of the Battle Mode that lets you practice against CPU or jump online to take on others around the world. Gameplay also took center stage and we got to see some of the unique abilities each character has, including Majin Vegeta's Final ********** that deals a ton of damage but leaves the player with 1 HP for a chance to ****** on. While we didn't get to learn a ton more about the story mode and its branching paths - you can alter parts of the canon Dragon Ball story with your decisions - we did get to see certain scenes like the battle against Raditz. For those unfamiliar, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero will take players through both Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super and star eight characters, including Goku and Vegeta. Bandai Namco revealed to us that Goku has the largest number of stages, beginning with his ****** with Raditz and going all the way through the Tournament of Power Saga. If that wasn't enough, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero will have a ton of support post-launch in the form of 3 DLC packs that will add more than 20 playable characters from the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie and Dragon Ball Daima series. If you've been desperate to play Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree in seamless co-op, I've got great news: the mod has just been updated. Anyone that's played a modern FromSoftware game knows that its online multiplayer is one part interesting, and in another part a ballache. Elden Ring is no different, but thankfully there is a seamless co-op mod that makes playing online with your friends a whole lot easier. Of course, last week the game's highly anticipated DLC expansion Shadow of the Erdtree dropped, and with that came a new version of the game. Updates normally require mods to also be updated, as they normally won't be compatible otherwise. As spotted by PC Gamer, the seamless co-op mod was updated today, meaning you can now play Shadow of the Erdtree with your friends more easily too. "While not perfect, it has reached a state where it can be used to play Elden Ring and the DLC in co-op," said Dalvik, a moderator for the seamless co-op mod's Discord server. So, if you do boot it up tonight, don't expect everything to run smoothly, especially considering some of the framerate issues the DLC currently has without any mods in place. The mod's update is a pretty substantial one too, as for one it lets you retain your saves from previous seamless co-op playthroughs. Destiny 2 is currently in its 10th year, and Bungie has promised more for Year 11, but it will apparently focus more on "world-building" than linear storytelling. Earlier this month, Bungie teased the future of Destiny 2, where there was absolutely no mention of Destiny 3, but there was a promise that "The Journey Continues" in 2025 with something called Codename Frontiers. It's still not entirely clear what that means for the shooter, but in a recent interview with Edge magazine (via GamesRadar) discussing the making of the game's most recent expansion The Final Shape and what's next for Destiny 2, a bit more light was shed on what you can expect going forward. Assistant game director Robbie Stevens explained in the interview that "all of the content coming in Year 10 is the catalyst for what happens next in Destiny 2. And some of those threads will carry forward into the future." He went on to say that "the thing I really want to reinforce here is that we're moving outside of the linear storytelling – internally we call it 'TV-show storytelling' – of Destiny 2 to these more standalone experiences and Episodes that are easier to jump into, easier to engage in. The highly anticipated expansion has finally been released and, with it, I can now visit the Land of Shadow and explore another part of the enigmatic history of the Lands Between and its many gods, though the focus is mainly on Miquella. Cyberpunk 2077 is obviously set in California, but there were enough off things about it that CD Projekt is looking closely at how the sequel can feel properly *********. On the face of it, Cyberpunk 2077 is a very *********-looking game. It's set in America after all, and is meant to essentially be a futuristic version of Los Angeles. In a recent episode of the AnsweRED podcast, acting executive producer Dan Hernberg even said "I think Cyberpunk is obviously a uniquely ********* story. It's got a lot of like, punk energy, and [the tabletop game] was written by an *********, so it just seems right to do it in America." But, of course, the CD Projekt studio that developed it is based in Wrocław, Poland, which apparently led to some parts of the game, parts most people on this side of the pond wouldn't think twice about, being not quite right. "There was this post [on Reddit] with the guy saying that there is this immersion-breaking bug in Cyberpunk, and the bug was about the fact that the covers for manholes for a sewer were the manholes that you use normally in Europe, in Germany, for a pavement," associate game director Paweł Sasko said. "Those are not manholes that you normally cover in America on the streets. When you go to America, there's things like [*****] hydrants, where they are placed and how they look like. The street lights, the positions of that, the trash bins, right? They're in the front of the house, right by the street. In Poland, in Europe, you don't see it almost anywhere.
