  20. We’ve known Battlefield has been cooking in the background for a while, and it seems players finally have something concrete to hope for. Vince Zampella, EA’s group GM, shared the first information regarding the upcoming Battlefield title, confirming it will have a modern setting and return to the franchise’s “core.” He shared this and more in a Sept. 16 interview with IGN, and even threw in the first concept art for the game as a bonus. Zampella said the developers recognized the peak of Battlefield happened during the years of BF3 and 4, “where everything was modern.” Thus, he thinks the franchise should return to “the core of what Battlefield is.” Zampella also said making maps and player counts big for the sake of huge numbers “doesn’t make any sense,” and that the team is designing the upcoming game to be “more akin to previous Battlefields.” View the full article

Or so everyone thought, until it seemws to be uncovered as a potential crypto scam, denounced even by the game’s original creator, ***** Nguyen, who confirmed he never sold his IP to anyone. The new Flappy Bird game appeared on Sept. 12, with a tweet apparently pretending to be from the original creator ***** Nguyen marketing a return of the infamous title. However, it quickly became clear Nguyen had nothing to do with the game, saying in a Sept. 15 tweet, “No, I have no relation with their game.” He added that he “did not sell anything,” and denounced crypto, which the new Flappy Bird game seems to contain.
