No, this isn't some DLC, it looks to be part of some graphical issues that've followed a recent update to the console's firmware, which Sony and Square Enix have said they're looking into. Taking a glance at Reddit or Twitter, you'll find a number of posts with players showing off or talking about problems they've run into. My personal favorite is the clip I've embedded below of someone having to outrun a void that's seemingly decided to chase them around a bit and momentarily ******** Mr Rosfield whole. "The PS5 system update yesterday is causing major graphical bugs in FFXVI during some cutscenes and portions of game play," one player wrote of this particular issue in a tweet, "Bug progresses to blacking out the screen, temporarily receded by opening the active time lore menu." Baldur's Gate 3 is oozing with characters and scenarios that are almost begging to star in a crossover, but Larian Studio's latest suggestion may not be what fans expect. The massive Dungeons & Dragons RPG took the world by storm in 2023 but one year before it, another indie game that also predominately featured eldritch monsters similarly captivated the hearts of players looking for something unique. EA Sports has confirmed the launch timing for FC 25 across its early access and global release dates on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. FC 25’s popular Companion & Web App launches on September 19, letting fans start their Ultimate Team club on the web, and a refreshed Companion App then launches on September 20. Ultimate Team 24 players get “a little something extra,” EA Sports teased. If you pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of FC 25 then you’ll get the early access launch. This kicks off midnight local time on September 20 on console, and from 5am *** time on September 20 on PC. As is standard for EA Sports’ FC series and the FIFA games before it, EA Play members get up to 10 hours of FC 25 via the trial from the early access launch. EA Play Pro (PC only) members, however, get unlimited access. EA Sports said the early access ******* includes Team of the Week 1, Rush Objectives, Player of the Month SBCs, Special Evolutions, World Tour, and Squad Foundations releases. You’ll also have the opportunity to earn Season Points in the new FC Season. The headline is the addition of ray tracing for the first time in either FC or FIFA, the latter of which was EA Sports’ football video game series before the company's high-profile split from the world football governing body in 2022. Alongside ray tracing comes a new graphics mode for FC 25, which gives players the choice between Enhanced Visuals or Favour Resolution. Enhanced Visuals features augmented lighting and graphic details in upscaled 4K resolution, whereas Favour Resolution features standard lighting in native 4K. It’s worth noting both graphical options offer 60 frames per second during gameplay to retain responsiveness. In another first, FC 25 will show time progression during a match. What is the EA FC 25 soundtrack list? If you can count on EA FC to deliver in one area, it's always its soundtrack. Over the years EA has serenaded us with timeless bangers like Blur's 'Song 2' and '***** it Out' by The Caesars. This year's soundtrack is equally crammed full of immaculate vibes from big names and upcoming superstars. EA FC 25 will launch with a 114-song-strong soundtrack, with three more tunes to release in future updates. Either you didn't know a live-action Ben 10 film was happening, or forgot it was, but any which way it doesn't matter, because it's been canned, seemingly. Ah, Ben 10. You were a fine enough show that mostly survived on the strength of fun alien designs and the 10-year-old-boy power fantasy of being able to turn into a whole universe's worth of aliens, but you've mostly been forgotten about since the 2016 reboot series. There are still plenty of fans of the original series around, but unfortunately for them, it seems like the series is staying asleep for a while longer. Back in 2011, it was reported that Lethal *******, **** Hard, and The Matrix producer Joel Silver would be handling a fully fledged, silver screen live-action film adaptation on the animated series, but 13 years later and it's pretty clear that that isn't happening, made all the more obvious by a comment from its other producer, Steve Richards. While speaking to The Direct at the premiere for Richards' latest film, The *******'s Game, the producer was asked what was happening with the Ben 10 film. "I have to admit, I should update my IMDb," Richards responded. "No. So, when I was working with Joel Silver, we had the rights to that, and, yeah, that expired... But it should get made, right?" A new year, a new list of songs that you'll listen to as you experiece the highs and lows of doing a virtual football. EA Sports FC 25's soundtrack has been revealed, with both yer das, not quite yet yer das and non-yer das all currently busy offering their two cents as to whether it features enough of what they consider indie bangers. You can find the full tracklist on Spotify, with EA having helpfully also put out a graphic outlining it which you can check out below. The developer says this year's collection of 117 tunes, three of which will be arriving via post-launch updates, "spotlights an eclectic range of genres". "FC 25 is a global celebration of new music that erases borders, embraces multiple genres, and delivers several surprises," Steve Schnur, an EA worldwide executive and its president of music, which is a wonderful job title, said. "The EA Music team has spent nearly a year curating an epic soundtrack that will define the sound of the coming season and elevate the spirit of the game like never before." Donald Glover, the actor behind young Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story, is hoping he can put some "fun" back into the sci-fi series. With the way that people talk about Star Wars, it's easy to forget that the original is just kind of this silly trio of films with big explosions, nonsensical plot twists, and tiny green puppet men giving surprisingly sage advice. There's plenty of room in its universe for some serious moments too, but it seems like a baseline feeling of fun is more reserved for the games these days, with shows like The Mandalorian and The Acolyte leaning more towards the dramatic most of the time. And it seems like actor Donal Glover, also known for his music under his Childish Gambino pseudonym, is hoping his upcoming Lando film will be able to make Star Wars feel fun again. "I just want it to be fun," Glover told the Wall Street Journal in a recent video interview. "As a Star Wars fan myself, I think it’s important that there’s just - there just needs to be more fun being had." He went on to say that it's "very hard to have fun right now. It’s tough because there are very serious things happening. That brand change resulted in a hit for returning players, who suddenly lost their loyalty rewards—but EA FC 25 fixes this issue and will bring back FIFA’s loyalty system.
