I haven't yet decided whether the loot tortoise in roguelike deckbuilder Dice Legends looks satisfied or exhausted. Both make sense to me. "He's grown used to this, but still isn't thrilled about it," offered my sister. I would not be thrilled either. Imagine being aware of Pratchett's world turtle and knowing you're a glorified ATM by comparison. "A roguelike deckbuilder, Nic?", you exclaim with mock interest. "Well, kick me down a well and break out the Vimto we've had mouldering in the cellar since the nineties, the last decade in which anyone consumed or thought about Vimto. Haven't had one of those since the time I went to collect the post forty five seconds ago. Also, the post was two flyers, each advertising a roguelike deckbuilder". I will not argue with your sage industry analysis, friend, although this one does have a couple of notables that may make the Steam demo an intriguing prospect. Read more View the full article

During Deltarune Chapter 3, you'll participate in Tenna's game show and receive rankings based on your performance. After receiving the results from your first round, you'll arrive in a Green Room, which features a suspicious door blocked by a guard. Upon convincing the guard to leave, you'll travel down its hallway, only to realize there's a parental lock system. What is Tenna hiding? What is behind this door? That's what we're here to find out. Let's explore the parental lock system's passcode in Deltarune Chapter 3. Table of contentsWhat is the Parental Lock system code in Deltarune Chapter 3?First parental lock system codeSecond parental lock system codeWhat is the Parental Lock system code in Deltarune Chapter 3? The parental lock system's first passcode is 213. You can find the answer by interacting with the game console near the lock system's doors. The character you play will determine how you find the answer. First parental lock system code If you've been following Chapter 3's storyline without diving into secrets, you'll play these games as Susie. To solve this puzzle as Susie, head to the left monitor, pick up one of the blue blocks, and toss it onto the button on the third monitor. Doing this reveals the third digit, "3." From here, you can use Susie's weed-pulling abilities to find "2," and clear away the rest of the blue boxes to locate "1." Screenshot by Destructoid If you've played the game behind the S-rank doors already, you'll be able to play as Kris. Playing as Kris is slightly easier, as you can use their sword to swipe away at grass and boulders on the screens. Then, by pressing the blue button, you'll spot the final number and find all three digits. At first, it'll appear on your screen as "123." If you try to punch this into the door's passcode boxes, it'll show up as incorrect. The key is how each display is connected. The second monitor has brick walls along its left side, while the first has two exits. If we rearrange these two to be a linear sequence, the password becomes 213. Second parental lock system code After an exchange between Ralsei and Kris, you'll have a second parental lock system code to enter. Like before, you can interact with the giant monitors to solve its puzzles. Like before, how you do this depends on the character you're playing. Screenshot by Destructoid If you're playing as Susie, you'll notice that each path connects, albeit not linearly, across each screen. You will also find a key, but as you approach it, it'll run away. Your goal is to pick up the two blue blocks and use them as barriers, trapping the key in a confined space so that Susie can collect it and open the door. Doing this reveals the passcode "1225." If you're using Kris, you can use your sword to bash open the staircase, revealing the passcode instantly. This one is noticeably easier, but it takes some work to unlock. If you've been digging deep into Deltarune's Chapter 3 secret ending, you'll have likely heard of various keys required to unlock an item leading into a hidden boss. The first of these secret items is the Ice Key, which you can only find during a specific section of Chapter 3. Table of contentsHow to unlock the Original Minigame in Deltarune Chapter 3Ice Key location in Deltarune Chapter 3How to use the Ice Key in Deltarune Chapter 3How to unlock the Original Minigame in Deltarune Chapter 3 Finding the Ice Key requires progressing far enough into Deltarune Chapter 3 to complete the first round of Tenna's game show. More importantly, you need to complete the game show's first round with an S-rank to unlock an "S" labelled door in the Green Room. Screenshot by Destructoid After completing the first round of Tenna's game show, you'll enter what's known as the Green Room to relax and save your game before advancing. In the top-right corner of this room is a door with an "S" on it, which you can only access if you achieve an S-rank in the round. If you didn't get an S-rank, you can either replay part of the chapter again or buy the rank for 1,500 points. As you enter this room and progress forward, you'll discover its secret: a somewhat gross dressing room. It may look rough at first, but there are some funny interactions you can have here. More important, though, is a character blocking a doorway. Talk to them to unlock the "original game," letting you have direct access to the Ice Key and get one step closer to unlocking Deltarune's Chapter 3 secret ending and boss. Ice Key location in Deltarune Chapter 3 Once you officially start the minigame, you'll need to obtain a sword, defeat every enemy on the map, and become strong enough to break through the map's trees. Doing this will create a direct path to the Ice Key and conclude the game for this round. Your first goal is to find the sword. Starting from your spawn location, follow the directions below to find it: Go south until you see a fish in a pond.Travel left, followed by south along two screens.Go east, followed by south.Head down the staircase. Screenshot by Destructoid Down this staircase is a sword at the end of a path. Pick it up to start slaying some enemies. You'll find enough around the map to reach level three, letting you break cactuses to unlock another part of the map. Once you hit level three, travel southeast until you spot a long path blocked off by two cactuses. Slice them with your sword to open the second half of the area. This new area will let you reach max level, enabling you to break palm trees around the map. Head back to the cactus entrance before destroying the trees directly south of you. You'll create a direct path down, traveling around five screens south, until you spot a treasure chest. Screenshot by Destructoid Opening this treasure chest will reward you with the Ice Key, concluding the minigame and letting you progress through Deltarune's Chapter 3 storyline once more. Keep this minigame in mind for later, though. How to use the Ice Key in Deltarune Chapter 3 The Ice Key is a crucial item for unlocking Deltarune Chapter 3's secret ending. After completing Tenna's second round with an S-rank, you'll be able to return to this Original minigame room and play this once more. During this second playthrough, you'll need the Ice Key to unlock a special area, letting you obtain another item required for the chapter's secrets.
