The DnD Psion's metamorph subclass is absolutely disgusting. As a horror fan, it's the most excited I've been about class options in a long time, even with all the spooky options previously included in Dungeons and Dragons. I'm itching to play a character that can morph their limbs into weird and disgusting tools that heal as well as harm. My enthusiasm is dampened a little by Wizards' playtest document, however. The developers who create Guilty Gear, the punishing 2D fighters with slick anime visuals, are working on a Marvel fighting game in partnership with the comics giant. Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is a flashy over-the-top wreck sesh, at least judging by the trailer shown off during last night's State of Play, the showcase of new games by Playstation. While there are quite a few different categories and types of weapons in Dune: Awakening, some of the rarest items you can find are the unique weapons crafted from schematics found in rare containers around Arrakis. As you explore the vast open desert and continue to upgrade your gear, keep an eye out for these unique schematics and take advantage of their powerful stats. Helldivers 2 developers Arrowhead have revealed the new gear that'll be arriving in the game with its next warbond on June 12, and there's an armour set that seems inspired by another franchise high on authoritarian satire, Judge Dredd. Honestly, I'm surprised it's taken that long for one of the warbonds - which as plenty of people have pointed out often amount to giving players a way to look even more fascisty than you do by default in Helldivers 2 - to dip into something Dredd-ish. Microsoft has announced Wave 1 of the June 2025 Xbox Game Pass lineup, which includes a shadow-drop of Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2. As detailed on Xbox Wire, Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Editions (Cloud and Console) are available today, June 5, on Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Standard. Perfect timing for anyone who’s wrapped up Baldur’s Gate 3 and wonders how the series began. Bizarrely, neither game is on PC Game Pass. Moving on to June 10, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) hit Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. This is the reworked first Space Marine game, which comes with quality of life and graphics improvements. Again, it’s well-timed for anyone who played the excellent Space Marine 2 and wants to experience the events leading up to that game. June 11 sees two very different games hit Game Pass: Barbie Project Friendship (Cloud, Console, and PC) on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard; and Kingdom: Two Crowns (PC) on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. With the soccer season over, EA Sports FC 25 (Cloud, Console, and PC) launches on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass via EA Play. EA usually puts its latest soccer game into Game Pass this time of year, ahead of the announcement of the next game in the series. For the entirety of Pokémon Pocket's history, the game has been defined by its Pokémon ex cards. Sure, there have been some non-ex decks that perform pretty well, like the Lucario fighting type list from a few seasons back, but usually they're a tier below the decks led by the top ex cards, and people like me only play them to be different (or because we haven't found the right exs yet). Elden Ring Nightreign is an incredibly fun and frustrating experience that stumbled out of the gate a bit due to a few essential missing features. Fortunately, FromSoft has been receptive to player feedback and has already started rolling out new updates to address these issues, such as an improved and re-balanced solo mode, the introduction of a potential doubles mode in the future, as well as improvements to existing Nightlord and other boss fights.
