  5. A massive purge of Disney games just occurred on Steam, as the Mouse House has just removed 13 of its titles from the PC gaming platform. Since its inception in 1923, Disney has become one of the most well-recognized movie studios around, releasing some of the most iconic movies ever made and achieving incredible financial success, with 17 films that have grossed over $1 billion. Beyond its own animated films, Disney has also made prominent acquisitions of popular brands such as Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars, further strengthening its overall dominance. View the full article
  6. The highly anticipated mid-season update for Marathon has finally arrived, and with it comes tons of quality-of-life improvements, further balancing changes, and new content to hunt in the game. Since it launched back in March, Marathon has proven to be a very reactive experience, especially when compared to Bungie's other live-service game, Destiny 2. View the full article
  7. Iron Banner is back in Destiny 2 after a long, long, long absence, bringing the Reghusk's Pledge Void auto rifle as its reward. This auto rifle has plenty of Void in its god roll, making it a great option if you use the purple element in your builds. Even if you don't have Void, however, one of its synergies is self-sufficient, so you can get overshields on kills on any subclass, with some good add-clear while you're at it. Here are our god rolls for Reghusk's Pledge in Destiny 2, based on the perks listed by [Hidden Content]. Reghusk's Pledge PvE god rolls in Destiny 2 Gotta do Iron Banner to get this. Image via Bungie Barrel: Arrowhead Brake, Fluted Barrel, or Corkscrew RiflingMag: Appended Mag, Tactical Mag, or Flared MagwellFirst perk: Destabilizing Rounds or DemoralizeHonorable mention: Rewind RoundsSecond perk: Repulsor Brace, Attrition Orbs, or Golden Tricorn The highlight of Reghusk's Pledge is its Void flavor, bringing with it two excellent elemental perks on column three: Destabilizing Rounds and Demoralize. Both are perfect for an add-clear weapon: one will make enemies Volatile upon getting a kill, letting you chain explosions on your foes. The other creates a weakening burst when you get a precision kill, so affected enemies are easier to kill. Rewind Rounds takes the third spot on our podium. This would be a top-tier pick if it didn't contend with the elemental synergy—for instance, a Rewind Rounds + Kinetic Tremors roll on a Kinetic AR—but as it stands, getting it requires giving up the two Void-aligned perks here, which bring more to the table. That said, there is a case for Rewind Rounds paired with Attrition Orbs, especially given the state of primaries in the post-Edge of Fate sandbox. You'd use Attrition Orbs to fuel your energy regen, while Rewind Rounds would let you continue firing and maintain your orb generation. The rest of the picks here aren't particularly impressive. Dynamic Sway Reduction and Built to Blast are PvP-focused, Impromptu Ammunition can be decent but not revolutionary, and if you're using a melee build, you may not be using an auto rifle, so Proximity Power feels odd in a weapon more suited to mid-range encounters. At least you can grab some old Iron Banner armor for your fashion. Image via Bungie The fourth column brings three good choices. Repulsor Brace is the natural pairing if you have Destabilizing Rounds or Demoralize. You get constant overshields with this combo, since everything will be debuffed anyway. Golden Tricorn brings a strong boost to weapon damage at max stacks, which can help make Reghusk feel better. That said, most of a guardian's firepower probably comes from abilities in the post-Edge of Fate sandbox, so you're not missing out terribly if you don't get this damage boost. The state of primary weapons is also why Attrition Orbs takes a prominent spot in our god roll, potentially even beating Golden Tricorn, depending on your build. Orbs of Power fuel your abilities, give you some health, and can even provide damage reduction (for instance, with the two-piece Smoke Jumper set bonus), so creating them is essential. Kill Clip and Swashbuckler show up, though you'd be better off with Golden Tricorn than with either of them for PvE, and the remaining two perks (Target Lock and Zen Moment) are better suited for the Crucible. Reghusk's Pledge PvE god rolls in Destiny 2 Image via Bungie Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling, Arrowhead Brake, Fluted Barrel, or Corkscrew RiflingMag: Accurized RoundsFirst perk: Dynamic Sway ReductionSecond perk: Kill Clip or Zen Moment Our PvP god roll is more straightforward. We opted for range and handling through the weapon's parts, while Dynamic Sway Reduction easily takes the third column. It's the most consistent perk you'll see here for the Crucible. The fourth column depends more on your playstyle and preference. Kill Clip grants you bonus damage after a kill, while Zen Moment makes it even easier to land shots on your enemies after hitting them. Target Lock ramps up the weapon's damage as you hit, but it's nowhere near as strong as it used to be. Ultimately, though, this one is up to personal preference. How to get Reghusk's Pledge in Destiny 2 Image via Bungie Reghusk's Pledge has a chance of dropping at the end of Iron Banner matches regardless of mode, so pick your poison between Control and Eruption. Iron Banner is only available for a limited time; however, it only runs for a week in its first appearance in Renegades, so get it before April 21 or wait until Lord Saladin shows up again—whenever that might be. 12. REPLACED is now available on PC and Xbox consoles, and you can take advantage of the graphics if you're on the former platform. The general visual performance is pretty good, and I didn't encounter any stutters as such. However, you can still tweak the settings to get the best possible performance specific to your system. This guide will help you figure out the best tweaks if you're playing on a PC that's close to the minimum requirements. Best REPLACED graphics settings Before I deep dive into the settings, here are the details of my current setup. NVIDIA RTX 3060 12 GB16 GB of DDR5 RAMAMD Ryzen 5600G Incidentally, REPLACED doesn't have a recommended set of settings on its Steam page. However, my system is well above the minimum requirements. Let's look at the current visual settings that I am using for my adventure. Screen Mode: Borderless. However, you can use Full Screen (I use Borderless since I have a multi-screen setup)Resolution: 1920x1080 (Default)FPS Limit: 120VSync: Off There are no advanced visual settings that you can tweak, and ideally, the game doesn't have a heavy set of hardware requirements. Screenshot by Destructoid I kept VSync off because there are certain areas where I experienced minor stutters. When I turned it off, the stutters disappeared. There could have been other factors at play, but so far, it's been good since Vsync went off. For my system, 120 FPS seems pretty stable, but I won't go limitless. If your system is struggling, you can set the cap lower. The lowest limit is at 30 FPS, which will be perfect if you are on a relatively weaker setup. That way, you'll be able to keep the stutters away while enjoying the game. That's more or less all the things you need to know to get the best visual performance in REPLACED, irrespective of the quality of your PC hardware. 16. Hasbro's Marvel Legends line may focus mostly on delivering figures based on Marvel's comic book, film, and TV projects, but sometimes they branch out into games as well. And given the massive popularity of the hero shooter Marvel Rivals, it should come as no surprise that the company is revealing a wave of Marvel Legends figures based on that game. Check out the slideshow gallery below for a closer look at Hasbro's Marvel Legends Series: Marvel Rivals figures: As you can see, these new figures are a bit of a stylistic departure from the usual Marvel Legends format, mimicking the extremely muscular and stylized character designs the game is known for. And, of course, Jeff the Land Shark is one of the characters who made the cut. This wave of figures includes: Moon KnightPunisherSpider-Man & Luna Snow 2-PackVenom & Jeff the Land Shark 2-Pack All of these Marvel Rivals figures will be released in Fall 2026. Preorders will be staggered over the next several weeks, with preorder links going live on Hasbro Pulse and other websites between April 22 and May 13, depending on the figure. Obviously, this lineup barely scratches the surface of the massive character roster in the game. Which hero or villain do you most want to see as a figure? Let us know in the comments below. Previously, Hasbro released a series of Marvel Gamerverse figures inspired by the Marvel vs. Capcom series. In other Marvel Rivals news, the developer confirmed that a Nintendo Switch 2 version is in the works. Don't expect any original characters to be added to the game, though, as there are simply too many Marvel characters to cover first. Jesse is a mild-mannered staff writer for IGN. 17. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is pulling from everything in the world of Batman: the movies, the 1960's TV show, and of course the comics. Today, WB Games has revealed the LEGO Batman version of the Batsuit from Gotham by Gaslight, the beloved steampunk-themed Elsewords comic from 1989. The hugely popular steampunk-era Batman comic pit Batman circa-1889 against Jack the Ripper. The LEGO version of this era-appropriate Batsuit is, as you can see in the trailer below, a bit more playful than the dark tone of that comic, in keeping with the LEGO theme. Check out IGN's hands-on impressions of Legacy of the Dark Knight, plus 31 minutes of gameplay. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be released on all platforms on May 22. 21. A few weeks ago, a relatively large Arc Raiders update added a new Arc enemy, new inventory management tools, and a new map modifier to the game to tide players over until the next map arrives. 22. Razer's back with the latest update to its long-running Viper gaming mouse series. Its symmetrical shape has been a favorite of many gamers for many years, and that core shape is retained here, but now the Viper is lighter, faster, and longer-lasting than ever before, and it adds up to the Razer Viper V4 Pro being a truly great gaming mouse. So great is it, in fact, that Razer's latest leaps to the top of our best gaming mouse guide as the single mouse I'd recommend above all others. If you aren't into the lightweight mouse thing, and prefer a gaming mouse with more buttons, this won't be the one for you. However, if performance, looks, and longevity matter to you, it's fantastic, though not without some issues.
