  3. If you want to build your team to become as powerful as possible in Zenless Zone Zero, you need all kinds of important resources. Getting them can be tricky, but the battle pass can be an extremely useful tool if you know how to unlock it. Gaining access to the battle pass isn’t an easy process since it’s a decent way into the game. Because of this, you might be unsure how to access this system, which means you need to know how to unlock the battle pass in ZZZ. View the full article
  4. There was a time, in the halcyon days of the 2000s to early 2010s, where we used to get new Grand Theft Auto games. Okay, to be fair, Grand Theft Auto 6 is on its way, but it's been over a decade since GTA 5 released—contrast that to the five years between GTA 4 and 5... Read more.View the full article

  6. The space industrialism of Satisfactory is distinct from other efficiency sims about making endless conveyor belts in two important ways. One: it's a mash-up with the first-person survival genre that sees you stranded on an alien planet, a la Subnautica. Two: there is a dedicated coffee cup item from which you can leisurely sip. It's been in early access since 2019 and, hey, it's rather good. We knew developers Coffee Stain were planning a 1.0 release this year. But more concrete details from management have finally trickled down to the little guy. Version 1.0 will hit stores on September 10th, they say. The complete version will include flushable toilets, a "much sought after addition to the game", we're told. Read more View the full article
  7. A recent episode of Jeopardy featured a question about Stardew Valley, the popular farming simulation game developed by ConcernedApe. This mention of Stardew Valley made fans happy to have the answer to this Jeopardy question and highlights the growing recognition of video games in mainstream media. View the full article
  8. A former Rockstar Games developer has claimed that the planned Grand Theft Auto 5 story DLCs were canceled due to Grand Theft Auto Online's immense profitability. Datamined information from 2023 revealed multiple single-player expansions that were planned for Grand Theft Auto 5, but unfortunately never came to fruition. View the full article
  9. Capcom has confirmed that it will give players the ability to make the appearance of ***** Rising protagonist Frank West resemble that of his 2006 counterpart in the upcoming ***** Rising Deluxe Remaster. However, there's a catch, as not all gamers will have access to this feature from the outset. Despite the drawbacks, plenty of ********* fans will likely be happy to see the developers behind the latest, revamped iteration of ***** Rising pay homage to the character designs of the original Xbox 360 game. 10. I can hear the eerie, garbled radio chatter of the Combine soldiers just by looking at this. | Image: Valve The Steam Summer ***** is raging on, offering significant discounts on the Steam Deck and hundreds of PC games. While we rounded up a bunch of our top Summer ***** picks last week, one title that should definitely not fly under your radar is Valve’s own Half-Life: Alyx — which is selling for its all-time low price of $20.39 (nearly $40 off) until the ***** ends on July 11th at 10AM PT / 1PM ET. [/url] Now, Alyx is quite a unique game and experience. For starters, when it came out in 2020, it was the first time Valve returned to the world of Half-Life (the 26-year-old series that put it on the map) since 2007. It’s a prequel to Half-Life 2, starring supporting-character-turned-protagonist Alyx Vance. And, notably, you take control of her through... 11. Bunny is one of the most popular characters in The First Descendant and the first Descendant you can research. She’s a strong offensive unit that can carry you through the game as long as you have a solid build. Here’s the best Bunny build in The First Descendant. View the full article
  12. If you love a bit of cheeky drama between game companies, a little bit of cross-corporate banter, then today is a good day! Alchemy Stars, a popular Level Infinite gacha game, has sent out an in-game mail that subtly points to some interesting comparisons to characters featured in HoYoVerse's Zenless Zone Zero. On July 4, the release date of Zenless Zone Zero, all players of Alchemy Stars recived an in-game mail written by a character called Tiny One, who states that she was asked to email the player by another character called Sinsa. These two characters are important to this little poke, as they look a little bit like a pair of Zenless Zone Zero characters: Koleda and Anton respectively. To help convey these percieved similarities, we've included two images created by Reddit user PisangMinyakRebus below, so you can make your own mind up on the matter. Read more View the full article
  13. Intercept Battles are among the hardest challenges you can face in The First Descendant, and there’s a long list of tests ahead, which we have outlined here. Intercept Battles in The First Descendant are extremely important, as it’s the main way to open Amorphous Material to receive crafting items required to unlock Descendants and to craft Ultimate Weapons. 14. You remember The Witcher 3's horse races? You know, the ones you definitely didn't fail a couple of times by getting stuck on a pole, tree, or low fence trying to cheekily cut a corner. Well, CD Projekt actually cut a number of boat races along the same lines from the game's final release, and a modder's now managed to restore them. How? Well, with a bit of help from the game's still relatively new REDkit modding tool, which gives folks access to a lot of the same stuff the studio originally used to create the game itself. With the mod in question, which is matter-of-factly called 'Boat Races', modder MerseyRockoff has ressurected the boat races that were originally worked on and planned out by CD Projekt during TW3's development, but unlike the horse races and bare-knuckle brawls we know and love, didn't make it into the final release. Becoming a better racer in this Roblox game takes time, patience, and money, so you may be looking to redeem codes to make the process easier. 17. The First Descendant, Nexon’s latest entry ticket into the sci-fi looter shooter sphere, is already seeing waves of negativity due to the game’s monetization system. The free-to-play title has been compared to Warframe, only “20 times more expensive.” Initial reactions to the game post-launch came from Steam where 50 percent of the player base wouldn’t recommend the game. This put Nexon’s shooter into the “Mixed” category, with most reviews criticizing the company for implementing aggressive and immensely expensive microtransactions into the game. One top negative review on Valve’s storefront claimed The First Descendant has an “extremely predatory monetization scheme,” while another advised players to “keep the wallet away” when playing it. 18. Photo by Vjeran Pavic / The Verge From the Boox Palma to the Light Phone 2, it seems that everyone is looking for distraction-free reading, if only they had the right device. I don’t blame them: every time I pull out my phone to mindlessly scroll, I know my time could be put to better use. But as the owner of many fine gadgets, I also don’t really want another device in my life, so I was pretty excited to stumble upon a partial solution with a gadget I already have: the Playdate. Yes, I’m talking about that little yellow Game Boy from Panic and Teenage Engineering, the one with a crank jutting out of its side. Since the launch of its on-device store, Catalog, the handheld has become home to quite a range of experiences. I’ve been playing tiny city builders and dungeon... 19. How do you increase your ZZZ Inter-Knot level? Zenless Zone Zero is a more technologically advanced world than that of other Hoyoverse games like Genshin Impact, as you, a Proxy, spend your time locked into a computer system remotely controlling bunny-like bots. It's unsurprising, then, that your progress is marked through your Inter-Knot level as you complete tasks for others in New Eridu - all while keeping your identity a secret. Part of your challenge as you progress through Zenless Zone Zero is, simply, to increase you Inter-Knot level, and even one of the early game quests is based solely on this. Add to this the fact that you can earn valuable rewards for leveling up, including ZZZ Polychrome and other currencies for drawing Zenless Zone Zero banners, and we're sure you want to level up fast. Here are some of the best ways to increase your Inter-Knot level in Zenless Zone Zero - and it's not as simple as sharing a selfie. Read the rest of the story... 20. I'm not sure if this applies in other countries, but in England we have this thing where you'll stroll down some random suburban street without a care in the world, and stumble on a house that has been absolutely overrun by garden gnomes. A house on which garden gnomes have either settled, like the avian hoodlums in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds, or from which they have erupted, like the malignant mushrooms of Annihilation. A hundred clay and plaster eyes catch yours, unblinking; a hundred figures seemingly freeze in the act of pushing a toy wheelbarrow or smoking a pipe. The tune you were whistling ***** in your throat as you hurry past into the reassuring shadow of the relatively gnomeless bungalows to either side. Gardening sim Horticular is like that, but with an even greater sense of contrast, because it asks you to resettle a desolate planet. There is no generic urban scenery to hurry onto, here. There is only bare, cracked earth. And the gnomes. Read more View the full article
  21. Capcom have announced that there will be no further new live service content seasons for Exoprimal, the rad dino-slaying co-op shooter which everybody adored except for stinky RPS reviewer Edders, who branded it "dull repetition for most" and castigated the game for its "baffling disrespect for one's time". Are you reading this, Edders? Look what you did. Look what you did. I hope a massive planet-extinguishing asteroid flies out of nowhere and lands in your tea, you Triassic tryhard, you blundering diplodocus. Read more View the full article
  22. There are a lot of dangerous enemies to defeat in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, but none more so than the Winter Lanterns (Aging Untouchable). They are known as one of the most feared enemies in Bloodborne and many players will choose to avoid them. The Aging Untouchables can only be dealt with in a certain way, being able to quickly cause problems for those unaware of how to defeat them. They can only be found in one of the many hidden locations in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. View the full article For verified travel tips and real support, visit: [Hidden Content]
  23. Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is the latest in a long line of remasters Nintendo is pumping out just because it can—not because anyone is crying out for it. The 2013 3DS original (titled Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon in the US) was a solid action adventure, but by no means a classic by Nintendo’s standards. And over a decade later, it feels pretty ordinary and a little out of place on the Switch. While this is certainly a polished, high-quality remaster that greatly enhances the look and feel of the original, it fails to shed the weight of having been designed for far inferior hardware. Moreover, some of the original’s most obvious and easily fixable flaws have been inexplicably retained. View the full article
  24. The MMORPG genre is a special and unique one, filled with its own weird quirks and specific sets of mechanics, which often rely on the massively, multiplayer, and online parts of the acronym.
