    How do you increase your ZZZ Inter-Knot level? Zenless Zone Zero is a more technologically advanced world than that of other Hoyoverse games like Genshin Impact, as you, a Proxy, spend your time locked into a computer system remotely controlling bunny-like bots. It's unsurprising, then, that your progress is marked through your Inter-Knot level as you complete tasks for others in New Eridu - all while keeping your identity a secret. Part of your challenge as you progress through Zenless Zone Zero is, simply, to increase you Inter-Knot level, and even one of the early game quests is based solely on this. Add to this the fact that you can earn valuable rewards for leveling up, including ZZZ Polychrome and other currencies for drawing Zenless Zone Zero banners, and we're sure you want to level up fast.     I'm not sure if this applies in other countries, but in England we have this thing where you'll stroll down some random suburban street without a care in the world, and stumble on a house that has been absolutely overrun by garden gnomes. A house on which garden gnomes have either settled, like the avian hoodlums in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds, or from which they have erupted, like the malignant mushrooms of Annihilation. A hundred clay and plaster eyes catch yours, unblinking; a hundred figures seemingly freeze in the act of pushing a toy wheelbarrow or smoking a pipe. The tune you were whistling ***** in your throat as you hurry past into the reassuring shadow of the relatively gnomeless bungalows to either side. Gardening sim Horticular is like that, but with an even greater sense of contrast, because it asks you to resettle a desolate planet. There is no generic urban scenery to hurry onto, here.     There are a lot of dangerous enemies to defeat in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, but none more so than the Winter Lanterns (Aging Untouchable). They are known as one of the most feared enemies in Bloodborne and many players will choose to avoid them. The Aging Untouchables can only be dealt with in a certain way, being able to quickly cause problems for those unaware of how to defeat them.     Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is the latest in a long line of remasters Nintendo is pumping out just because it can—not because anyone is crying out for it. The 2013 3DS original (titled Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon in the US) was a solid action adventure, but by no means a classic by Nintendo’s standards. And over a decade later, it feels pretty ordinary and a little out of place on the Switch. While this is certainly a polished, high-quality remaster that greatly enhances the look and feel of the original, it fails to shed the weight of having been designed for far inferior hardware. Officer Mewmew is an oversized cat cop handing out medals to anyone willing to complete a good deed in Zenless Zone Zero‘s Sixth Street. The tasks involved in earning a medal usually involve repairing Bangboo, finding lost cargo supplies, or locating a specific Bangboo and assisting it in its troubles. For one specific medal, you must locate two Bangboo chatting behind the “404 Error Live House”, a location that, despite ZZZ‘s tendency to ***** technobabble at you, does not exist.     If you ever feel like too many games slot too neatly into one category - this one's a platformer, this one's an RPG, this one's a city builder - it's because combining tropes and layering mechanics on top of one another is riskier than just making a straight genre piece.     To the disappointment of many fans, Larian Studios has announced that it won't be making Baldur's Gate 4 despite winning 2023's Game of the Year award with the third entry in the series.     Running Zenless Zone Zero on the Steam Deck is a bit like running most Windows games on Linux—it can be complicated. Since ZZZ isn’t on Steam but on the Epic Games Store, you can’t just find it in the Steam Store add it to your library and play.     Command and Conquer Red Alert is one of the best videogame sequels of all time. Westwood follows Tiberian Dawn with a complete aesthetical turn - the embellished, pseudo sci-fi style of the original C&C is replaced and reimagined completely with a borderline dark comedy version of the Cold War.     A former Rockstar developer has said the company canceled a standalone Grand Theft Auto 5 story DLC because GTA Online emerged as a “cash cow" soon after launch. Joe Robino, who was a senior camera artist and virtual cinematographer working at Rockstar’s New York office from 2010 to 2016, spoke to the SanInPlay YouTube channel about why this much-rumored GTA 5 story DLC fell by the wayside after GTA 5 came out in September 2013. “A lot of the team went to do Red ***** Redemption 2 right away and I took on this other project that was a standalone DLC for GTA that never came out and it was kick ****,” Robino revealed. “That was my thing. I was one of the main editors, camera artists, and on-stage stuff. We split our teams into two. I stayed on GTA Online and then this DLC, which Steven Ogg [the actor who played Trevor Philips] was a very important part of. “And then some of the team overlapped and went to RDR2 early on, and then we just kind of did this [flipped motion], because when that game got shelved, we spent so much money… a lot of that stuff though did end up making it I believe into later iterations of GTA Online, I think. So it’s not like they wasted it. “It was really really good. But when GTA Online came out it was so much of a cash cow and people were loving it so much that it was hard to make an argument that a standalone DLC would outcompete that. I think looking back now you could probably do both. But that was a business decision they made. I was a little upset about that. “That actually was a lot of the reason for me being a little sour at that time. Because I was like yo, WTF guys? This s**t’s awesome. Let’s keep going. Fans have had snippets of information about GTA 5’s fabled story DLC over the years. Indeed, Steven Ogg has spoken about it and what it would have involved. “Trevor was going to be undercover, he was working with the feds,” Ogg has said. “We did ****** some of that stuff with ‘James Bond Trevor’, where he’s still kind of a f**k-up, but he’s doing his best. Then it just disappeared and they never did it, they never followed up on it.” GTA dataminers have also discovered a reference to Trevor with a jetpack, which suggests story mode DLC was repurposed into GTA Online, as Robino says. In 2018, Rockstar finally unveiled GTA Online's Doomsday Heist missions alongside the Thruster, a jetpack that's still exclusive to the multiplayer mode to this day. Rockstar is now focused on getting GTA 6 ready for its fall 2025 release window. There are a number of questions fans have of Rockstar’s plans, including whether GTA 6 will, unlike GTA 5, receive story DLC. And what happens to the current version of GTA Online when GTA 6 inevitably introduces its own version? Meanwhile, in the same interview, Robino discussed the well-documented crunch and secrecy Rockstar staff endured while working on GTA 5 and Red ***** Redemption 2. “We got probably halfway through it [the GTA5 story DLC], and we put a pause on it,” he said. “I was also doing GTA Online at that time, and I was also doing RDR2. We all were. We worked a lot, man. For six or seven years, I was working almost 365 days a year with our team.” For years, Rockstar had a notorious reputation within the video game industry for brutal crunch in the making of Grand Theft Auto and Red ***** games. However, following the release of Red ***** Redemption 2 in 2018 and the shocking stories about the human cost of its development, media reports suggested changes were made to the company’s culture to avoid the same thing happening during the development of GTA 6.
