  2. The Monoliths of Fate are one of the best ways to find great end-game loot in Last Epoch, where players are eventually challenged with three level 90 areas to conquer: Spirits of *****, The Last Ruin, and The Age of Winter. Many players may find themselves at a plateau with the power level of what they acquire from conquering each of these Monoliths, but there is a way to empower them for even greater loot. Empowered Monoliths provide a far greater challenge with higher risk but higher reward. View the full article
  3. Any trainer reading about the recent Pokémon Go datamine would be forgiven for taking a second look, because it could potentially include huge changes that are worth getting excited for. From the recent datamine first reported by PokémonGoHub, two major changes stand out the most. Firstly, it looks like Zygarde Cells from routes are increasing from one Cell to three. Secondly, the datamine seems to tease item sharing between trainers, so finally, trainers will be able to trade evolution stones and more. View the full article

  6. It might look like a toy spaceship from the 1980s, but this retro-styled box could convert your laptop into a serious gaming rig. The new Ayaneo AG01 Graphics Starship not only has a charming design that would be at home in a toybox with E.T. and He-Man, but this external GPU dock contains an AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT GPU, and can even expand your laptop's SSD storage. 7. After facing controversy for a lengthy offline *******, MultiVersus is back with its full launch next week, and it's adding a funny pairing of characters with it. Earlier today, Player First Games released its launch trailer for MultiVersus, which is finally coming back next week, May 28. The trailer is all CG, showing characters like Finn and Velma facing off against Bugs Bunny and The Joker, and Marvin the Martian and the Iron Giant against Cake the Cat and Stripe. All of this culminates with a bunch of the game's playable characters eventually arriving at Game of Thrones' Iron Throne, with The Joker perched on it, quite clearly outnumbered. Of course, he has some backup, as a couple more classic villains warp in: Friday the 13th's Jason Voorhees, and The Matrix's Agent Smith. Alright, a bit of an odd combo, but hey, if you've got the IP, use it I suppose? They are of course new additions, alongside The Joker himself, though I do have to say adding in Agent Smith before Neo is a bit of an odd choice. Read more View the full article

  11. Easily the most controversial feature coming to World of Warcraft’s next expansion, The War Within, is its pre-order bonus that promises early access to the game. The early access bonus was first revealed at BlizzCon 2023 and immediately met with disappointment from fans who accused Blizzard of selling a “contrived privilege” and promoting exclusionary tactics towards players who didn’t have the $90 to spend on what’s practically a FOMO tax. 17. MultiVersus has a new cinematic launch trailer that has revealed two new playable characters: Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th and Agent Smith from The Matrix. MultiVersus, which launches on May 28, is a free-to-play platform fighter similar in vein to Nintendo’s Smash Bros. series, but with characters from across Warner Bros.-owned properties. Jason Voorhees and Agent Smith join the MultiVersus roster alongside DC Super-Villain The Joker (voiced by Mark Hamill) as part of Season 1: Puns & Villainy. Jason Voorhees will be available at launch, while Agent Smith will release later in the season. Other characters we see in the trailer include Wonder Woman and The Joker (DC), Velma (Scooby-Doo), Bugs Bunny and Marvin the Martian (Looney Tunes), Iron Giant (The Iron Giant), Rick Sanchez (Rick and Morty), Stripe (Gremlins), and Finn the Human and Cake the Cat, a variant of Jake the Dog (Adventure Time). Developed by Player First Games, MultiVersus will be available on May 28 as a free download for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), with full cross-play and cross-progression support. Announced characters currently include Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, ****** Adam, and The Joker (DC); Shaggy and Velma (Scooby-Doo); Bugs Bunny, Tasmanian ****** a.k.a. Taz, and Marvin the Martian (Looney Tunes); Arya Stark (Game of Thrones); Tom & Jerry (Tom and Jerry); Finn the Human, Jake the Dog, and Banana Guard (Adventure Time); Steven Universe and Garnet (Steven Universe); Iron Giant (The Iron Giant), LeBron James (Space Jam: A New Legacy); Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith (Rick and Morty); Gizmo and Stripe (Gremlins); Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th); Agent Smith (The Matrix); and an “extraordinary original creature” named Reindog. In March, Warner Bros. re-announced MultiVersus with a new release date after Player First Games rebuilt the game from the ground up to improve online play and, with a move to Unreal Engine 5, improve visuals. MultiVersus officially shut down in June last year after launching with a battle pass, microtransactions, and DLC characters. This release was considered an open beta, but some expressed frustration at MultiVersus going dark after spending real money on it. In our 8/10 review of the open beta, IGN said: "MultiVersus may not be a must-play at social gatherings, but its refreshing team-based battles make it a great platform fighter online." 18. An Elden Ring player has discovered an amusing technique to cheese the Great-Jar Challenge. FromSoftware fans have a long-running tradition of figuring out loopholes to win battles and challenges with minimal effort, otherwise known as "cheesing." 19. After a lengthy downtime, Warner Bros. Games' MultiVersus is set to release with a seemingly larger roster than was present in the beta. MultiVersus pits some of the most popular characters from the company's franchises together in a fighting game for the ages. First shown off in a beta test during 2022 and 2023, the beta ended in June 2023, so the development team could turn a full focus on polishing the game, which already seemed to have a great starting point. 25. Wuthering Waves is nearly here, launching worldwide on May 22. To celebrate, Kuro Game Studio is offering a nice spread of rewards and unlockables for those willing to download the game and play it on launch. We'll go through them all in detail below, but in short it seems especially easy to secure at least two five star characters quickly, as well as various loot and valuable items to use as you play. These sorts of launch prizes aren't necessarily unique (many of you might remember the amount of free stuff Genshin Impact threw at players when it launched all those years ago), but Wuthering Waves and its devs are certainly pushing to get folks invested straight away. So, when you start the game you'll be presented with a beginner's banner that you can roll through at a 20% discount until its depleted. This should reward you with a Wuthering Waves character once you do so, which means you'll be getting a lush new squadmate to mess around with fairly quickly! After it's gone don't worry, because you'll be able to set a character focus on the regular banner. This means that, after a select number of rolls, you'll get the character you want gaurenteed.
