The more you watch, though, the more glitches you'll see."> At first glance, these AI-generated Super Mario Bros. videos are pretty impressive. The more you watch, though, the more glitches you'll see. (credit: MarioVGG) [/url] Last month, Google's GameNGen AI model showed that generalized image diffusion techniques can be used to generate a passable, playable version of *****. Now, researchers are using some similar techniques with a model called MarioVGG to see if an AI model can generate plausible video of Super Mario Bros. in response to user inputs. The results of the MarioVGG model—available as a pre-print paper published by the crypto-adjacent AI company Virtuals Protocol—still display a lot of apparent glitches, and it's too slow for anything approaching real-time gameplay at the moment. But the results show how even a limited model can infer some impressive physics and gameplay dynamics just from studying a bit of video and input data. The researchers hope this represents a first step toward "producing and demonstrating a reliable and controllable video game generator," or possibly even "replacing game development and game engines completely using video generation models" in the future. 10. The latest Arcane Season 2 trailer just dropped, giving fans an exciting new look at what’s to come in the next chapter of the hit animated series. With stunning visuals and intense action, the trailer sets the stage for more conflicts than just between Piltover and Zaun. 13. Every time you load up Agentia you are reincarnated as a different creature. "Creature" is perhaps too narrow a word - the game's "playable characters" range from geese, microscopic life and triceratops to menhirs and small rocky islands. Each forms the heart of a diamond of delicately drawn, isometric grid terrain with a baby mobile canopy of clouds and sun. It looks like an illustration from an old botanical or geographical textbook, although the inviting emptiness around the visible area also reminds dimly me of certain elder RPGs I used to play on Macintosh. 15. The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt is known for sporting some fantastic character designs, a fact emphasized by how the community simply adores creating photorealistic cosplays of their favorite characters. While most fans will likely champion Triss Merigold and Yennefer of Vengerberg as the two primary sorceresses of the franchise, there's one lesser-known character who's also had a major impact on Geralt's story. Keira Metz is a complicated figure, which is precisely why so many fans appreciate her impact on the world of The Witcher. View the full article

  18. Intel might have a fix out now for its stability issues on 13th and 14th-gen Intel CPU models, but that doesn't mean the company is out of the woods yet. Intel isn't making any public statements about RMA delays so far. However, a number of complaints from users in the Intel subreddit show that the company is already facing delays in shipping out replacement Intel CPUs, whether it's an exact or like-for-like replacement.
