  1. Ark: Survival Ascended players looking to pit their survival skills against a horde of undersea monsters are in luck because a recent add-on for the DLC-size mod The Sunken World adds plenty of new oceanic threats. Despite the various dinosaurs constantly patrolling the island, it's inarguable that some of Ark's scariest critters can be found swimming around the depths. Those who are brave enough to wade beyond the shallows will be rewarded with some excellent mounts and even better stories if they're able to catch the one that got away. View the full article
  2. Lionhead Studios didn't get everything right in its brief, bright existence but there's one game it absolutely nailed: ****** and White. Putting you in the disembodied hand of a **** as you coaxed your people to power your miracles while looking after your giant, city-crushing ****, ****** and White is a game of almost monumental ambition. There haven't been many attempts to recapture it in the intervening years but if there's one game that looks like it could take up the mantle, it's new **** game Fata Deum. 3. There aren't enough single player FPS games anymore. Over the last few years, the genre has been dominated by multiplayer and co-op projects like Valorant, Escape From Tarkov, Destiny 2, and XDefiant. That's made one of the exceptions to this rule, last year's ferocious, ***** inspired single player Trepang2 more than welcome. Given that its first DLC is set to come out later this month and the base game is currently on a massive discount through Steam, now's a great time to check the game out for yourselves. 4. Hale’s Moving House is a world event in the first area of Once Human featuring a large moving house at the top of a hill. Your goal is to get inside it, solving a puzzle that will reward you with a unique chest you can loot. There’s a special trick to defeating the moving house. It can be difficult to figure out what you need to do to get inside the home, and it might be confusing what you need to do when you actually make it in. Thankfully, after you figure it out, it should be easy to make short work of Hale’s Moving House in Once Human. View the full article

  6. It's surprising to say that Neopets is turning 25 years old, but what's even more surprising is playing it again after 15 or so years. Seemingly standing the test of time, Neopets was released in 1999 to a fan-base of excited kids wanting something to scratch their "cute creature game" *****, while also being something entirely different. Neopets even managed to survive the ****** of Flash, and managed to come back stronger than ever. There are a lot of changes that Neopets have made over the years, adding in new content and creating a mobile game, all the while staying true to its original platform on the internet. 8. Enlarge / Vampire Survivors on the iPhone. It doesn't look like much, but it sure is addictive. (credit: Samuel Axon) [/url] Apple recently announced new games coming to Apple Arcade, its gaming subscription service for iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple TVs, and Vision Pro headsets. The headlining title is Vampire Survivors, an indie hit that combined the gameplay of bullet ***** shooters and the addictive quality of clickers to become a mega sensation two years ago. Also coming is Temple Run: Legends, an updated take on the popular game from 2011. Vampire Survivors was already available on the App Store, but it was ad-supported, with the option to spend money in-app to get additional content. The Apple Arcade version, dubbed Vampire Survivors+, is more akin to the PC or Xbox versions that don't have ads. Both paid expansions will be included at no additional charge. Meanwhile, Temple Run: Legends is a completely new game (not just a remake of the original Temple Run) that bucks the "endless runner" genre label by breaking its gameplay into individual levels—though there will be some kind of optional endless mode, too. 10. You can find multiple puzzles and riddles to solve while working your way through the many side quests in Once Human. A particular riddle is available to you as you work alongside Lowe during the Martial ****’s Home quest. The primary task for this quest is to express your respect to the Janitor. As you might expect, there’s a certain act you need to do while next to the Janitor, and if you don’t perform it for them, they’re going to ignore you. Unlike the quest you completed to unlock this one, where you had to give ore to a Deviation, this one requires a specific action. Unfortunately for players, Lowe doesn’t provide exact details on what this action is other than paying your respects in Once Human. View the full article
  11. The tower defense genre has fallen slightly out of favor in recent years, which is only natural after an era where games like Plants vs Zombies, Kingdom Rush Vengeance, and Sanctum 2 so heavily dominated the strategy space. Combining tower defense with the roguelike and hand drawn horror elements of games like Cult of the Lamb, The Binding of Isaac, and Darkest Dungeon 2, though, is a compelling proposition. And this is exactly what the upcoming Bella Wants Blood looks to do when it launches later this month. Read the rest of the story... View the full article

  13. It looks like Konami is once again trying to bring Maxx “C” back to life in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, at least according to recent leaks of a card coming to Japan later this month. The new card is going by the name Mulcharmy Fuwaross for now, according to translations from YGOrganization and the Yu-Gi-Oh! community at large. If that Mulcharmy name—or the nightmarish thought of another version of Maxx “C”—sounds familiar, you’ve probably heard of the card Mulcharmy Purulia, which arrived in Japan in April and is set to come to North America on July 19 with the release of The Infinite Forbidden. There are hundreds of different players to control, but there are select players who are the cream of the crop across the nation. From offensive superstars to stalwart defensive machines, there are explosive players at almost every position on every team in the system. There are just over 100 players ranked at a 90 overall or higher, but there are only three players with overalls over 95, and there isn’t a player in the game at a 99 overall on launch. 16. Lost in Madness presents a unique treasure hunt opportunity in Once Human. Finding the map is one thing, but finding the Cultist’s Treasure presents challenges. While the Lost in Madness quest is listed as a level seven quest, this is very deceiving as it’s hardly one that a low-level Once Human player can complete. It does take some detective work to narrow down where you need to go to track down the Cultist Treasure, and you need to find a specific map to start it. Even though you know where to go to complete this quest, make sure you’re starting it and grabbing the Cultist Treasure map. View the full article

This status indicates that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is ready for production and release to the market, which is already scheduled for September 9, 2024. 21. There are multiple side quests and activities for you to complete throughout Once Human. These are minor events alongside the larger story, but they provide you with powerful weapons, currencies, and resources. And one mystery is the passcode at Sunbury Middle School. You can discover the Sunbury Middle School in the second region of Once Human. You want to be much stronger from where you initially started in Once Human before making your way over here, but if you have suitable gear and enough friends, dispatching the enemies in this area shouldn’t take too long. Solving the passcode, however, is a little tricky, but we can help make it easier for you and your group. View the full article
  22. Not all of Minecraft's many unique biomes have a lot to offer, and one member of the game's modding community has recently shown off their creation of a dust ****** environmental effect which is intended to bring some added risk and reward to the exploration of desert biomes. Though standing out as one of the oldest biomes in Minecraft, deserts have only seen a few additions over the years, with many players considering them to be a lot more boring than the other, more resource-rich environments that can generate throughout a world. 24. The Delta emulator app now provides native iPadOS support. | Image: Riley Testut The Delta iOS app has released a new update that introduces the retro gaming emulator’s redesigned logo, alongside native iPad support that allows users to play multiple games simultaneously. Users in the EU can download the update immediately via AltStore PAL, but everyone else will have to wait for Apple to approve Delta 1.6 for the App Store, which could take a few days, according to Delta developer Riley Testut. The app was technically available on iPad before today, but the lack of full support forced it to run as a letterboxed iPhone app, which impacted the emulator’s touch controls and prevented games from using the full iPad screen. The new Delta 1.6 update rectifies those issues and enables the app to make full use of native... Continue reading… View the full article
  25. It's been years since a proper XCOM has come out, with XCOM 2 launching back in 2016 and the series' most recent spin off, XCOM: Chimera Squad coming out in 2020. Fortunately, games like the Cyberpunk 2077 and XCOM indebted Cyber Knights Flashpoint have arrived in the years that the latter series has been away, offering players the opportunity to test their tactical prowess in other ways.
