If you’re used to getting a good laugh out of watching Tyler1 rage over League of Legends, you might like what the popular streamer is planning for this week. Tyler1 is officially set to take on one of the most rage-inducing games in recent years, Elden Ring. Tyler1 began his Elden Ring marathon stream today, Sept. 9, around 3:15pm CT, entering his stream room dressed like a warrior in full armor with a sword and shield in hand. But that costume didn’t last long and was quickly taken off before the gameplay even started. View the full article
Destiny 2 has turned 10 and Bungie celebrated with a small, nostalgic in-game party—including an armor set made specifically for the 10th anniversary. Power Spots are new landmarks you can find while playing Pokémon Go. These locations are similar to PokéStops and Gyms, but not entirely the same. After battling a Dynamax Pokémon, there’s an option for your Pokémon to remain there—but is it really the best thing to do? There are a handful of benefits to doing this. You do lose access to the Pokémon, and there are some aftereffects you’ll want to consider if you’d rather keep that Pokémon with you. You can also use them at other locations in Pokémon Go. I love the Yakuza (or Like a Dragon) series. I’ve played every game, even ***** Souls. I know Kamurocho like the back of my hand and can belt out Baka Mitai with the best of them—but even I can’t find anything to like about Yakuza Wars. The lull between mainline Like a Dragon games is always an interesting time for the fanbase. There’s discussion of what came before and speculation on what might come next. When Yakuza Wars was publicly trademarked earlier this year, there was quite a buzz about what it could mean for the series: real-time strategy spinoff, maybe? Standalone expansion on Yakuza 6‘s Yakuza clan creation minigame? As of today, though, the truth has been revealed, and it is, crushingly, just another dime-a-dozen mobile gacha game. Destiny 2’s 10th anniversary celebrations happened more outside of the game than in it. The litany of blog posts released on that date gave fans a glimpse of the future, including the arcane Codename: Apollo. This new nickname appears alongside Codename: Frontiers when it comes to what’s next in Destiny 2, with the former being a general catch-all term for the future of the game. World of Warcraft: The War Within brings a lot of great content to the game, making it feel fresh even after it's been out for two decades. Overall, I loved this expansion, and it brought the game as a whole into a state where I enjoy logging on and going through content, which is something I've been waiting well over a decade for. But I hate the state of the Horde and the way the faction ends up being used, or forgotten, as it seemed to be this time. View the full article

While playing football on PC has never been the most demanding task, I expected more from the EA Sports FC 25 system requirements than for them to be a carbon copy of last year's listing. Well, that's not entirely true, the requirements are listed in reverse order and little details such as CPU clock speeds have been removed, so if anything, less effort has gone into preparing this year's requirements. News is steadily tricking ahead of the EA Sports FC 25 release date, but the system requirements aren't typically considered all that exciting. However, the sheer lack of effort that has seemingly gone into the listing could be cause for concern, even if the yearly football franchise hasn't implemented any huge graphical or technical changes this year.
