  6. Caps and company successfully recovered from an upper bracket setback to maintain their incredible streak in the LEC, once again at the expense of perennial bridesmaids Fnatic, who looked stronger than ever in the LEC Summer Split playoff but still capitulated at the final hurdle against their rivals. Another LEC Split, another G2 victory, and while the challengers’ identity continues to shift, the final boss of ********* League of Legends still ******** the same. Fnatic put up a spirited challenge throughout the playoffs as they defied the expectations set by their fourth-place finish in the regular season to bulldoze their way through the playoffs, but if their upper bracket win over G2 seemed like a harbinger of things to come just a few days ago, it most definitely wasn’t in the end. 7. A fresh and magical Teamfight Tactics Set 12 is dropping into live servers through Patch 14.15, featuring a new Charm mechanic, significant system changes, champions, traits, Augments, and more. The Magic n’ Mayhem TFT Set 12 set is very different from Inkborn Fables, and it’s to its benefit. It’s also slightly more complicated with the addition of the Charm mechanic. Charms are awesome, but the added decision-making had me dizzy plenty of times during PBE testing. The set also includes 60 champions instead of 59. Over 100 Augments were added, and several verticle traits are worth playing at launch. This article covers everything you need to know about TFT Set 12 and will have you ready to play when Patch 14.15 goes live. View the full article

The good news is we have already figured it out. If you take this item to the right place, you can get a very nice ******* indeed. Where to use the Nightweaver Stone Doll in Remnant 2 The Nightwaver Stone Doll should be brought to the Tortured Asylum and given to a cobweb to get the Dreamcatcher melee *******. Yes, it sounds crazy, but that’s only because it is. The good news is that once you already have the Nightwaver Stone Doll, you’re actually a good bit of the way through a secret quest chain to get not only the Dreamcatcher ******* but also a secret class called the Invader. 10. Crafting medicine in Palworld can take quite a bit of time. But if you have a Medicine Production Pal assigned to your base, you can speed up the process. First, though, you’ll need to find and catch one. Pals with the Medicine Production Work Suitability will be able to operate the Medieval Medicine Workbench and craft different types of medicines. These meds will cure ailments your Pals will pick up from time to time, like the Weakened, Depressed, or Overfull effects. Not every Pal has the Medicine Production trait, though, so you need to know which ones to catch if you’re looking to staff your own clinic. View the full article

  18. Even the best multiplayer games aren't immune to losing their playerbase. Mass Effect 3's Galaxy at War. Gears of War 3's ****** Mode. Splinter Cell's Spies vs Mercs. There are so many incredible multiplayer experiences lost to time as their platforms become obsolete, servers get shut down, or people move on. Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 was, for a time, one such game. With counts that rarely exceeded 1,000 active players on Steam, the community is steady, albeit small, but now a whopping 90% off ***** has seen GW2 hit its highest peak since launch, and it's showing no signs of slowing down. 19. Steam is finally making some major changes to its storefront that will make it far easier for players to try a game before they purchase it. Currently, in the gaming space, it's never been easier for players to dip into a collection of games, either via PC and Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus' libraries, and decide if a title is right for them, but Steam has long offered a more traditional way of doing this with demos that let players try out a section of a title that should serve as a solid representation of what the full game will be like before someone pays for it. 22. Astro **** is getting its very own game in September, but if you aren't sure whether you want to pick it up or not, there's some new gameplay that might help you out. Back in May, PlayStation finally revealed that long-rumoured Astro **** sequel, showing off a taste of the game's greatly expanded upon platforming action. There were some previews for the game last month, which were generally quite favourable, and now it seems that that demo that the press got to go hands on with is currently available to try out at ChinaJoy 2024. The gameplay, which you can check out below, shows off a few levels, one being mostly a boss ****** with a giant octopus monster. This one sees Astro picking up some boxing gloves that lets it ****** out its fists to ****** enemies and swing across large gaps. The second is an honestly quite challenging looking level set in space which just so happens to have a cameo from Jak and Daxter, who you have to save. Lastly is another difficult looking level that involves some tricky platforming, with this one having you rescue the player character from Journey. Clearly this seems to be a running thing throughout the game, and considering there are over 150 classic PlayStation characters featured in the game, it looks like you'll have a lot of difficult levels ahead of you (though I imagine some of them will just be cameos). 23. If you're a Once Human fan hoping for an FPS mode, you probably shouldn't as developer Starry Studio has no plans for one. Like any time a third-person shooter releases, Once Human has some fans that would like a first-person mode, kind of ignoring the fact that when a game is built a particular way, something like that can break it in unexpected ways. As spotted by PCGamesN, an update was shared by Starry Studio responding to some commonly brought up topics, which also included things like character, controls, and the camera. Speaking on the FPS point, Starry wrote, "Including a first-person perspective may result in conflicts with the current game design. In response to your requests, we will consider adding first-person elements into future scenarios and game modes. However, we have no plans to add a first-person perspective to the game at present." Essentially, don't expect it for the main game, if at all, as again it is a third-person game after all. In more positive news, Starry did also confirm that the 0.3 second delay before your character starts to move is being removed, writing, "The movement windup animation consists of about 20 movements and is quite intricate, so refining some of the details will require some time." It also noted that Vaulting is being upgraded, with a plan to change things so that "the character only begins vaulting after reaching a certain height," as right now you vault and jump at the same time.
