In its current early access state, Wizordum's two episodes have a bit of a Goofus and Gallant thing going: I was really flagging by the end of episode one, a fun goblin warlord boss ****** doing little to make up for the hour-long ****** march of its last full level. It is one of the Void Intercept Bosses, and while it is not the highest-level boss, it is one of the ones you can also ****** in Hard Mode. Helldivers 2 has kept an impressively consistent schedule for its battle pass equivalents, known as Warbonds, releasing one nearly every month since the game launched in February 2024. New items therein aren't necessarily game-changing, but a regular injection of fresh weapons and armor has been nice. I'm not one to normally celebrate battle passes they're often a decent deal monetarily, but they incentivize players to participate in a cyclical grind that I find often starts taking the fun out of their respective games. Warbonds in Helldivers 2 are relatively innocuous, though, and the upcoming Freedom's Flame Warbond has a chaotic focus that's gotten me eager to check it out. View the full article

Combining the action RPG combat of Diablo with the survival and base building of Satisfactory, The Riftbreaker is an impressive genre mash-up. It's a fast and fluid mix of ideas where you bounce between calm moments of construction and frantic fights, but you've always had to do this alone. Even after another disappointing loss to Gen.G, people expected League of Legends icon Faker to stay calm, cool, and collected as he’s always done throughout his career. But on Saturday, Aug. 3, the greatest player of all time was seen repeatedly headbutting a wall while in the player’s booth, causing the community to band together in concern for his wellbeing.
