It doesn't matter if it's account-wide cosmetics or changes to doors, Starry Studio is listening and trying to offer solutions. I don't think we need to worry about Zenless Zone Zero, as it's taken home almost $100 million since launching a month ago, but that's definitely not MiHoYo's best. MiHoYo's latest venture into the world of mobile games Zenless Zone Zero started strong last month in which it managed to reach $25 million in revenue in less than a week. Well, it's been more than a week now, it's been about four of them in fact, so there's only one question for it: how much has it made in total now? According to Gacha Revenue, which tracks revenue for all sorts of mobile games, it's made around $100 million dollars. That's based on data from spenders in China, who make up the bulk of the total revenue at a little under $69 million, and then Japan and the rest of the world is lumped together at $31 million. That's obviously nothing to sniff your nose at, but compared to Genshin Impact, which took in nearly $250 million in its first month, it's not exactly as strong a launch. This is seemingly a part of an ongoing decline when it comes to launches for MiHoYo, as Honkai Star Rail took in $130 million in its first month. Still better than Zenless Zone Zero, but again only half of what Genshin Impact achieved. The alleged number of Primogems in Genshin Impact 5.0 has been leaked, showing exactly how many new wishes players will have access to when the next update arrives. An in-development build of Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6 has leaked online, with footage of the build appearing on social media. The footage, which we won’t link to here, is being taken down in response to requests from the copyright holder. However, due to the nature of the *****, repositories of the footage are appearing as quickly as they are being taken down. The build, which is far from final, seems to include partial lists of multiplayer maps, as well as perks, and an in-development gunsmith menu. Even since its beta release, The First Descendant has had plenty of characters that players love to hate. Darksiders, the slightly edgy take on the Zelda format, is getting a brand new game though don't expect much from it just yet. It's been six years since the last entry in the main Darksiders series was released, Darksiders 3, which received some pretty mixed reviews upon its release. Aside from the spinoff title Darksiders Genesis that was released a year later, it pretty much felt like the series was ***** in the water, perhaps because it just couldn't fit in in the previous console generation. Well, mixed reviews or not, that doesn't matter much, as publisher THQ Nordic announced a brand new entry in the series during its 2024 Digital Showcase, with this new entry once again being developed by Gunfire Games. A thing to note is that Gunfire Games is led by David Adams, who founded Vigil Games, the original developer behind the first two Darksiders, so it sounds like the series is sticking with those who know it best. An Xbox Wire blog post said of the new game: "The foreboding rumble of caverns eons old. Embers swirl through the air, cast up from pools of bubbling lava. Three enormous heads, hewn from otherworldly stone suddenly burst into life with mystical flame. The Charred Council roar a single word in unison: HORSEMAN. It looks like that rumoured mobile version of Final Fantasy 14 is on the way, as one has just been approved for release in China. Last month it was reported that Tencent was working on a mobile version of the immensely popular MMO Final Fantasy 14, and it appears that said report has been confirmed. Niko Partners shared a report this week stating that China’s National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA) approved 15 import games on August 2, which includes some pretty big titles. As stated by Niko Partners, "A mobile game based on Final Fantasy XIV is being developed by Tencent and Square Enix and was approved." Obviously the language there suggests that it'll be its own game, rather than an outright port of the game. Daniel Ahmad of Niko Partners shared on his personal Twitter account that this mobile take on Final Fantasy 14 is "expected to be a standalone MMORPG separate from the PC game," so it doesn't exactly sound like you'll be able to take your warrior of light with you in your pocket, at least not for the time being. When asked by someone on Twitter if the game is already done, Ahmad further explained that it "should be close to done" but "it could be another 3 to 6 months before we hear about it from Square Enix." You shouldn't be getting your hopes up over Dragon Age: The Veilguard releasing before October, because EA says that's the soonest it will be out. It's been 10 years since BioWare last put out a Dragon Age game, that particular title being Inquisition, with fans eagerly awaiting a sequel, with only the poorly received Mass Effect@ Andromeda, and the even worse received Anthem to fill the gaps in the meantime for those that'll play anything the developer makes. Dragon Age 4, then later titled Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, and more recently retitled to The Veilguard, was at the very least revealed in 2018. But that still begs the question: when the ***** is it coming out? It's supposedly out sometime in "fall" according to BioWare, which just about covers the end of September, but as spotted by Eurogamer, it appears that the game won't be out before October 1. This comes from EA itself, with the publisher now listing the upcoming sequel RPG as set to launch in its third financial quarter. For context, EA's first financial quarter of the year ended June 30, with its second ending September 30. Essentially, you can probably expect it out sometime between October and November, assuming there isn't any kind of delay (which wouldn't be all that surprising in this day and age). That isn't a precise release date, obviously, but it's better than nothing, right? Plus, it won't be all that long until you'll know exactly when it's releasing anyway.
