And I’ve got them below. View the full article

  4. In the Starfield universe, perhaps no other aspect is as cool as the massive warships that players can encounter toward the late game. Legendary Starfield warships are larger variations of typical ships, akin to the likes of the UC Sys Def's ship, the UC Vigilance, or the Crimson Fleet's Key. These legendary ship battles are fairly rare, with just three scattered across the Settled Systems in randomly generated locations. View the full article

  7. Making Simoleons is a big part of The Sims 4 experience, and managing to side-step the challenges in getting rich can be a huge achievement. It's certainly easier to get ahead in The Sims than in real life, but the grind to success can still require a lot of work and some lucky breaks along the way. Making it to the top in one fell swoop could be a game-changer, and the key to success can be found in romance. View the full article
  8. In a world as harsh as Fallout 4's post-apocalyptic wasteland, it's a good idea to have someone watching the Sole Survivor's back. Companions are a perfect way to do just that: helping out in combat and sometimes offering their opinions during quests. However, one of the best aspects of Fallout 4's companions is their perks, which are special bonuses that are unique to them. View the full article
  9. Organizing your furniture can be one of the best aspects of Stardew Valley, but some of the steps required to do so can be tricky to figure out, such as properly rotating different pieces. Though it seems simple enough, controls vary across the different platforms, which can make even the simplest tasks a bit confusing. View the full article
  10. External Components are an important but often overlooked aspect of The First Descendant’s gameplay and endgame. Among the many you can acquire and use, the Slayer set is one of the best ones, as it provides a variety of useful buffs to your Descendant. The Slayer set is an Ultimate tier set that, like all External Components in The First Descendant, has four parts: Memory, Processor, Auxiliary Power, and Sensor. Each part of the Slayer set can be acquired and farmed in the same way: by defeating the Pyromaniac Intercept Battle on hard mode. View the full article
  11. Gears of War: E-Day is one of my most anticipated upcoming games. I adored the series' original trilogy, but I'm just now getting around to playing its more recent entries after skipping the Xbox One generation. Gears of War 4 and Gears 5 haven't quite reached the same heights as the series-best Gears of War 2 for me, but roadie running around and chainsawing grubs has a sort of base appeal that hasn't ceased to be entertaining. Since The Coalition took stewardship of the series' development, there have been some admirable and interesting new wrinkles, but I'm worried E-Day may be treading well-worn ground that's keeping Gears of War from significant evolution. 13. The original voice actor for Kingdom Hearts' version of Sephiroth, Lance Bass of boy band NSYNC, reveals that he's never beaten the superboss in the game. While it's a common name nowadays, the original Kingdom Hearts broke a lot of ground by being a semi-crossover of Disney and Square Enix properties, set in its own interconnected universe. Released in 2002, Sora teams up with Donald Duck and Goofy to combat the Heartless threatening their worlds, meeting the likes of Final Fantasy 8's Squall Leonhart and Final Fantasy 7's Aerith Gainsborough. 18. The long-simmering Carlsen-Niemann feud has flared up again in the chess world at the FIDE World Team Rapid Championship, where the decider round would have pitted the two grandmasters against each other, but Carlsen opted to sit out the round instead, leaving Ian Nepomniachtchi in the hot seat. Magnus Carlsen set off a firestorm of controversy back in 2022 after his loss to Niemann in the Sinquefield Cup, a prestigious invitational event. He retired from the event the very next day and later claimed that his opponent “has cheated more—and more recently—than he has publicly admitted,” referring to a handful of online games the young ********* has admitted to, adding that “his over-the-board progress has been unusual, and throughout our game in the Sinquefield Cup I had the impression that he wasn’t tense or even fully concentrating on the game in critical positions while outplaying me as ****** in a way I think only a handful of players can do.” View the full article
