  1. Piotr Babieno, the CEO of Bloober Team, asked for fans to give the Silent Hill 2 remake a chance after gamers discussed concerns about the project. The remake of Silent Hill 2 is a big deal among fans of the franchise since there hasn't been a new game since 2001. The original developer, Konami, hasn't provided much new content for the game franchise, instead opting for movies or other adaptations. But gamers have been thirsting for more playable content, and a remake has big shoes to fill if Bloober wants to impress fans of one of the biggest psychological horror games. 2. It's no secret that Starfield's planets can often feel like barren wastelands, which is why explorers should check out this mod to spice up the landscape. When roaming around a newly-discovered planet, there's a decent chance that players will stumble upon a point of interest, which is usually a structure or location that stands out from the rest of the terrain and possibly contains some kind of unique encounter. There's not a great deal of variety though, meaning users will quickly come to see everything the galaxy has to offer despite its sprawling size. 4. The world of Warhammer 40k has spread into several videogame genres over the last few years, but you've never been able to play a Warhammer racing game - that is, until now. 5. Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel’s servers have been pretty reliable over the last three years. Some players, though, might be running into issues that leave them questioning if the game is down. How to check if Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel’s servers are down News of any expected maintenance can be found on the left side of the main menu. Screenshot by Dot Esports In my experience, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel servers are normally fully functional outside of regularly scheduled maintenance periods, which usually happen once or twice a month. When a maintenance ******* is approaching, Konami will put a notification on the left side of the main menu. You can also access any news on upcoming maintenance through the Maintenance tab after clicking on the envelope icon at the top of the main menu. View the full article
  6. If you’ve played a farming sim before, you know what I mean. The struggle of pockets getting stuffed with seeds and tools all too quickly is always an issue in this genre, and Fields of Mistria's obvious Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley inspirations made it clear I should beeline for a big bag of slots ASAP. A ******* backpack is the road to a more fun, more efficient parochial existence, and having been down this road before, I knew I needed to save up. I had to fast track my first crop of potatoes and forage in the woods to do it, and by day six I had enough cash for my first exciting purchase... Read more.View the full article
  7. Unlocking your Solstice armor is a huge part of the yearly Solstice celebration in Destiny 2. The unique armor set gives your Guardian a distinct appearance and several bonuses while you wear it and participate in the festivities. For Solstice 2024, you’ll be crafting it yourself with armor alloys. There’s the Helmet Alloy, Gauntlet Alloy, Chest Alloy, Leg Alloy, and Class Item Alloy. You’ll use these resources at the Solstice Forge, where you’ll craft the armor and place it on your Guardian after completing it. Gathering up these armor alloys takes a good amount of time in Destiny 2, but there are some things you can focus on to make your life easier. Here are some of the best ways to farm the Solstice armor alloys in Destiny 2. View the full article
  8. I've often been tempted by the siren song of a return to Neopets. Every time there's some news about the once-great virtual **** game - the Switch rumors, the NC **** styles, the Animal Crossing-inspired Tales of Decardia - I always toy with the idea, mention it to my friends and fellow former Neopets kids. We always seem to come to the same conclusion: it sounds like a fun idea, but our ****** lives don't always have the space for the daily check-ins necessitated by raising a virtual ****. However you slice it, I'm just not ready for another Neopet right now. View the full article
  9. You have a chance to earn bonus rewards in Zenless Zone Zero by recommending specific video tapes to customers, including one NPC described as a "Love-Crazed Girl." Random characters sometimes enter your video shop to see what films are available. Even as you upgrade the video store over time, you'll always have to try and choose the right tape in the face of unclear directions for people who come in. View the full article
  10. Delta Force: Hawk Ops is getting a lot of buzz from first-person shooter fans, and it’s easy to see why. The new FPS is gorgeous, it features several different kinds of modes, and tons of popular streamers are playing it in the summer of 2024. Unfortunately for some players, those streamers are all on PC. So, naturally, console gamers want to know if they’ll be able to play it, too. View the full article
  11. IShowSpeed got banned from YouTube for two weeks, with the platform citing Active Community Guidelines violations. Speed’s editor slipz posted a screenshot of Speed’s YouTube channel dashboard in reply to a post showing the channel’s dominance, pointing out a sense of irony in the way that YouTube is currently treating the account. Although Speed himself has not directly addressed the ban, on an alternate account on X, he stated that he’s “recharging.” View the full article
  12. The Solstice Forge is the latest new item given to you in Destiny 2 during the game’s summer event, Solstice 2024. You’ll receive this item shortly after speaking with Eva Levante in the tower, which you’ll use throughout the event to craft your armor. It’s a different approach from the previous Solstice events in Destiny 2. Rather than looting armor, you’ll be crafting it with the Solstice Forge. You’ll need to hunt down several new items, especially for anyone who wants to craft every piece of this armor, to ensure they get the most benefits while playing. There are a handful of things you’ll want to know about it. Here’s everything you need to know about the Solstice Forge and how it works in Destiny 2. View the full article
  13. Those who haven’t made the jump to current-gen consoles are in for a treat, as one of the biggest games of 2023 will be getting a brand new port. Electronic Arts has announced that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the Soulslike action game following Cal Kestis and his ongoing war against the Galactic Empire, will be getting a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One port later this year. These ports were announced all the way back in August of last year, but now we have an official release date, which means that everyone will be able to experience the next chapter of Cal’s journey. And if those who are still on last-gen ever decide to make the jump, EA also confirmed that upgrades between consoles will be free and save files can also be transferred with no hassle. 14. When I first saw isometric city builder Metropolis 1998 back in January, it shot to the top of my wishlist because it lets you design and decorate every single building in your town. That's awesome. It's also oozing with pixelated charm thanks to the chunky retro graphics, making it feel like a nostalgic throwback but with modern features... Read more.View the full article
  15. Arkane founder Raphael Colantonio thinks fans of Dishonored and Prey will be pleased with the next game from his current studio. Following 18 years at Arkane, during which he served as president and co-creative director, Colantonio announced in 2019 that he’d formed a new outfit called WolfEye Studios. The studio’s debut title, Weird West, was released in 2022. On top of all of these features, the game also includes sporadic Settlements made up of NPC characters. If you’re ready to put on your building cap and invest your time into a community, here is everything you need to know about Settlements in No Man’s Sky. View the full article

Footage of the next map for Activision's highly successful battle royale game leaked earlier this week, along with a load of other details about ****** Ops 6. The new footage revealed pieces of the next Warzone map, which will presumably launch alongside ****** Ops 6 later this year, but not all fans were thrilled by what they saw. View the full article
  19. I love Fallout New Vegas. To be fair, I love all the Fallout games - I'm not looking at you, Brotherhood of Steel - sit down. Plenty agree, with it consistently ranking at the top among many fans of the series, so much it's pretty much become a meme at this point. That said, I wouldn't be a true Fallout New Vegas fan if I didn't admit that it's got some big problems, with tons of bugs that can get stuck in your craw unless you download the right mods. How it feels can also turn many away, but one modder has released a big animation overhaul that helps it feel much more up-to-date. Read the rest of the story... 21. With Diablo 4’s Loot Reborn update in full swing, season four saw a lot of shifts in the power dynamic between classes. The Barbarian has more ways to play than ever, but one is the most interesting (and possibly the best to build this cycle). Here’s the best build for Barbarians in Diablo 4’s season five. 22. Among the numerous veteran wide receivers in the NFL, Amari Cooper stands out as one of the best in the league. He’s among the cream of the crop at his position, and in Madden 25, he’s also a premium talent who boasts many different skills for any player to use. Cooper can absolutely torch players on the sidelines while still holding some pesky tricks up his sleeves with his footwork and ability to change direction. He’s been on three different teams across his career, is a five-time Pro Bowler, and could be the perfect piece for any armchair general managers sifting through their WR options. 23. Out of Modern Warfare 3’s many powerful SMGs available after launch, the WSP-9 is one of the best, and that’s why we’ve come up with the best WSP-9 loadout and class setup to use in multiplayer. According to its description, the WSP-9 is “a fully automatic submachine **** featuring a slow rate of ***** balanced by high damage, control, and mobility.” This SMG definitely fires a bit slower than some others in MW3, but it makes up for it in its power. Even in season five, it’s a ******* to be afraid of on the digital battlefield. View the full article
  24. A Diablo 4 player has discovered a mysterious item that may solve a long-running in-game mystery. Diablo 4 is no stranger to incredibly rare items and secret unlockables. Many of these are first confirmed to exist via datamining, then found organically in-game after some experimentation, be they legendary gear or hidden locations. Some of them, though, are much more bizarre. This is one of those latter examples, a hidden quest that rewards a completely useless item. It may be a simple reference to an infamous item from Diablo 2, or something much deeper. View the full article
