A new AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D benchmark has leaked, and it appears to show a substantial increase in clock speed compared to the new CPU's predecessor, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. While the latter is an amazing gaming CPU, its 5GHz peak clock speed held it back in application benchmarks, but these newly leaked Cinebench results appear to show that this CPU can also hold its own in content creation tasks. That means the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D wouldn't just be the best gaming CPU when it launches, but also a formidable chip when it comes to heavily multi-threaded workloads, such as video encoding and 3D rendering. Not only that, but it also looks as though the 9800X3D's single-threaded performance is also well ahead of that of the 7800X3D, suggesting a substantial increase in clock speed. Like any good MMO, Throne and Liberty’s real draw is the opportunity to have a robust social experience in a fantasy world, from cultivating a unique character, joining guilds, defeating co-op dungeons, and of course, adding and keeping up with friends. Trying to add a friend while exploring Solisium together? Here’s all the ways to group up with and keep tracks of friends in Throne and Liberty. View the full article

The debut trailer for Fallout: New Vegas mod Fallout: Nuevo México shows off the completely revamped game in a similar fashion to how Fallout: London completely changed Fallout 4. The lengthy trailer was shared on YouTube and gives players a look at the mod's main location of Mexico City and how the wasteland has overcome it. "Once the vibrant heart of a massive metropolis, Mexico City now ***** in ruin, a battleground for factions struggling for dominance and survival," the synopsis reads. "From the decaying colonia of Chapultepec to the submerged canals of Xochimilco, the city is a haunting blend of beauty and brutality." Fallout: Nuevo México will be free when it's eventually released but has no date attached yet. It's described as "a fan-made creation driven purely by passion and creative work, with zero funding involved" and "a dedicated effort to share a unique vision of a post-apocalyptic world in México." With Fallout 5 potentially still a decade away, given developer Bethesda is releasing The Elder Scrolls 6 first and its years away itself, fan projects like this are perhaps the best chance players will get to enjoy a single player Fallout for years. Its reveal trailer comes not long after Fallout: London arrived as an expansion sized mod for Fallout 4. This mod unsurprisingly took players to the English capital and even featured a fully fledged voice cast including Baldur's Gate 3 star Neil Newbon (and, bizarrely, former *** Speaker of the House John Bercow). Months ago, 13-year-old Willis "Blue Scuti" Gibson became the first person to "beat" NES Tetris, crashing the game after a 1,511-line, 57-level performance. Over the weekend, 16-year-year old Michael "dopgplayingtetris" Artiaga became the first to reach an even more impressive plateau in the game, looping past Level 255 and instantly rolling the game all the way back to the ultra-slow Level 0. It took Artiaga a bit over 80 minutes and a full 3,300 cleared lines to finally achieve the game's first near-mythical "rebirth" live in front of hundreds of Twitch viewers. And after a bit of celebration and recovery on the low levels, Artiaga managed to keep his rolled-over game going for another 40 minutes, finally topping out after a total of 4,216 lines and a record 29.4 million points. [Hidden Content] Artiaga's record-setting game starts a few minutes in, while the "rebirth" rollover happens at 1:21:24 Artiaga's record does come with a small asterisk since he used a version of the game that was modified to avoid the crashes that stopped Blue Scuti's historic run. Still, NES Tetris' first-ever level rollover is a monumental achievement and a testament to just how far competitive classic Tetris has come in a short time.
