The list of Aspects and abilities in Destiny 2’s Prismatic subclass may get even ******* after The Final Shape. Bungie is considering expanding the iridescent element in the future—though not before players get to try it, the studio said at an event in May. All of Destiny 2‘s subclasses have expanded in scope since their launches, and Prismatic is bound to share that fate after its release. It’s easy to run out of loadout slots in Destiny 2 thanks to its deep buildcrafting options, and that’s before the new Prismatic subclass arrives. Fortunately for guardians, Bungie will offer more loadout slots with The Final Shape, as confirmed in a press event earlier this month. “There will be additional loadout slots, and they will not be difficult to obtain either,” game director Tyson Green said. “I believe that we’re putting them on Guardian Ranks.” Bungie didn’t specify the number of loadout slots on the way. Destiny 2 players who go out of their way in the Pale Heart may be rewarded with extra parts of Prismatic, Bungie said in a press event in May. Ted Sarandos, CEO of Netflix, thinks that there isn't "any reason to believe" that Barbie and Oppenheimer couldn't have done just as well on the streaming service. There is zero doubt that Barbie and Oppenheimer were two of the biggest films of 2023. Barbie managed to ****** almost $1.5 billion globally, making it the highest grossing film of the year, with Oppenheimer only half a billion behind putting it in third place - not to mention all those awards it one. The two films obviously fueled each other as well, what with them releasing on the same day, leading to the Barbenheimer meme. It was a big summer for cinemas, and people made a whole event out of seeing both films back to back, a feat that is impossible to replicate but one clearly born out of the joy of going to the cinema. And for some reasons, Sarandos still thinks they could have done just as well on Netflix. The Netflix CEO recently spoke with The New York Times in a big fancy profile, talking all things streaming, where the topic of both Barbie and Oppenheimer came up. "Both of those movies would be great for Netflix," Sarandos said in the interview. "They definitely would have enjoyed just as big an audience on Netflix. And so I don't think there's any reason to believe that certain kinds of movies do or don't work. There's no reason to believe that the movie itself is better in any size of screen for all people. Cyberpunk 2077's launch in December 2020 was one of the most disastrous in recent memory, but now, three-and-a-half years later, developer CD Projekt Red is finally done fixing it. Revealed in its latest financial results, not a single developer at CD Projekt Red is working on Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time in more than a decade. The studio breaks down the number of employees devoted to each of its many projects in each financial presentation, and while the Cyberpunk 2077 team stood 17 members strong on February 29, 2024, that final group is now nowhere to be seen (and likely migrated onto other projects). CD Projekt Red wound down the development of Cyberpunk 2077 after the release of its first and only expansion, Phantom Liberty, in September 2023. It came after the game-changing Update 2.0, which completely revamped Cyberpunk 2077 with features such as a new perk system and improved AI, and was followed by another big update in 2.1 but only minor changes afterwards. Patch 2.11 addressed myriad bugs and balance issues in the open-world role-playing game, while 2.12 applied a seemingly final layer of polish. CD Projekt Red is now looking firmly forward towards Cyberpunk 2077's sequel, codenamed Orion, and its myriad incoming Witcher games. Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6 will be launching day one on Xbox Game Pass. This was announced via an official blog post on the Xbox Wire website, and while there's not a huge number of details on exactly how this will work, it's a massive move to tempt a new wave of players over to the subscription service. As for when we'll get these additional details, Call of Duty is getting its own little E3-style showcase on June 9 during Summer Game Fest where we'll be able to see the game in-action for the first time, as well as an Xbox games showcase right after where additional details may be shared. So if this news has raised your eyebrows at all, those are worth tuning into. We don't know what tier of Game Pass you'll need to have in order to jump into ****** Ops on day one, but regardless, it offers a wild deal to those who own either a PC or console. Being able to hop into a new Call of Duty for a fraction of the price is nuts, especially when you can just cancel the sub when you've had enough and save yourself a tasty pile of cash in doing so.
