Soulslike players have been eating well these last few years. Lords of the Fallen, Wo Long, ***** of P, Nioh, Mortal Shell, and Remnant 2 are just a few off the top of my head. That's without even accounting for the deluge of games that use soulslike elements and have the Steam tag. My point is that it's become difficult to be seen in the genre when the sea of soulslikes is constantly raging. So how do you stand above the rest? Well, the upcoming Kristala uses cats. Wuthering Waves is available now, and the Genshin Impact-style action RPG is drawing a lot of favorable comparisons to its HoYoverse counterpart. Developed by Kuro Games, Wuthering Waves is a gacha game with slick, responsive combat and open world exploration that is immediately reminiscent of Breath of the Wild (and, of course, Genshin also). The game is available on both mobile devices and PC, with controller support and plans for a console launch later in its life cycle. View the full article
After several rumours and at least one *****, the official Lego Legend of Zelda set has been officially revealed. The big problem with Lego, is that it's so easy to look at a set and think "gosh, I bet that'd be fun to put together, maybe I should pick it up." Why's that a problem you ask? Well, because Lego is ***** expensive, and this newly revealed Legend of Zelda 2-in1 Great Deku Tree set is no different at £260/ $300. And yet, ***** it all, I obviously want it because it's Zelda, and it's Lego, and it's the first Lego Zelda set! You can see a short trailer revealing the set below, highlighting the fact that it's a set based on the Great Deku Tree from both Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild, with the option to build either one of the versions. On top of that, there are some great little pieces too. There are four mini figures included, one of Breath of the Wild's Link, one of Zelda, and two Ocarina of Time Links, the young and ****** version respectively. From Breath of the Wild there's also some very fun Korok and Hestu builds too, and from Ocarina of Time there's things like those pesky Deku Baba plants and a baby version of the Great Deku Tree. It's a really fun little set, and yes, I am considering contacting my bank so I can take out a loan to pick it up, why do you ask? Read more View the full article

F1 24 has arrived, but far from surging to the front of the grid, EA’s latest entry in the long-running franchise ******** stuck in the paddock. The weather is warming and the snow is melting, which can only mean one thing: It's nearly Game Announcement Season and almost time for the best showcase of them all, the PC Gaming Show, which will return June 9 at 1 pm Pacific (4 pm ET/9 pm BST). The opportunity to share news about some of the most exciting upcoming PC games is always special for us, but this year's PC Gaming Show is a little extra special, because it's also the show's 10-year anniversary. Back when you could still tell people "merry E3," PC Gamer's editors noticed a big gap in the June press conference lineup: no show dedicated to PC gaming, which unlike the consoles isn't cared for by a single company. So we decided to make one ourselves, and a decade later, the PC Gaming Show is still going strong. This year, you can expect some reflection on the positively transformative changes PC gaming has seen in that time, but don't worry, we won't let the navel gazing get in the way of the world premieres, exclusive announcements, and developer interviews. You can expect over 50 games at this year's PC Gaming Show. We'll be streaming the show on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Steam, and Bilibili, but you can also catch it via one of our official co-streaming partners. That's right, you can watch it with your favorite Twitch streamer instead of us, and we won't even be too hurt. Interested in teaming up with us as one of those co-streamers? Fill out our form for partner content creators. You can keep abreast of PC Gaming Show updates via its official website. Last November, we introduced a second show to our yearly lineup with PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted, which revealed dozens of new trailers and a list of the 25 upcoming games we and our panel of experts are most excited for.View the full article

However, this ***** also suggests there will be no upgrades when it comes to the chips' core counts. Tense, brutal, relentlessly unkind - the best survival games, like Sons of the Forest, Rust, and Frostpunk imagine dynamic worlds filled with lethal dangers. Occasionally, though, they feel a little rigid. NPCs and enemies, if they're present at all, follow predictable, reliable scripts, and often become mere tools or gameplay mechanics, rather than believable opponents or co-survivors. Especially in Fallout and Stalker, it feels like you and only you are the one who's fighting to survive. Other people are there to offer quests, allow trade, and facilitate your adventure. For the true survival experience, the world should feel indifferent to you. Usually, though, you're the star of the show, and the world, no matter how superficially cruel, is your playground and yours alone. But that's all about to change. Read the rest of the story... XDefiant players should be well-aware of the game’s ongoing hit registration issues, and I count myself among them. These problems should soon be a concern of the past, though, as XDefiant’s executive producer reassures fans the developer is working on a fix. De Rosa is one such character, but commenters mentioned other Cleaners have a similar problem. When you’re ******* in close-range but still not getting many hits on Cleaner characters, it’s confusing and frustrating, so it’s not surprising players want to be heard. View the full article
There's apparently a new version of the Legion Go in the works, with the Lenovo Legion Go Lite possibly bringing lowered specs and a reduced price to match.
