Horror games are always set in abandoned old mansions, disused hospitals, or creepy forests. Arguably one of the most horrifying settings in the real world is a warzone, and Conscript puts us right into the quaking boots of a WWI soldier who just wants to get himself and his brother back to their mother. Taking clear inspirations from Resident Evil and Dark Souls, it reminds us that war is terrible, and not an action-packed romp around the world. Read the rest of the story... I've never played League Of Legends and I have no interest in doing so, but Arcane was superb. A second season is on the way and due to arrive this November. Its teaser trailer also refers to it as "the final chapter". Read more View the full article

The first question on many people’s mind when playing Dark and Darker will concern the movement to some capacity. Especially when they **** from only being able to walk out of harm’s way.Can you sprint, dodge, or roll in Dark and Darker? When I first started playing Dark and Darker, I was incredibly surprised to see that the universally-agreed sprint button, left shift, caused me to go even slower than I already was. My surprise turned to confusion when I found out that you can’t sprint at all. For the most part, at least.Only the Fighter class can sprint, but it’s a skill that has a cooldown. Apart from that, no other class can sprint.Screenshot: PC InvasionAlso, rolling, dodging, strafing, and even back-stepping are not features at all in Dark and Darker. You physically cannot do any of those actions that we’ve taken for granted from other titles. Not even mobile classes, like the Rogue, can do these actions. This is incredibly limit...View the full article

After receiving a ton of feedback and criticism from the League of Legends player base, Riot Games has shown off some significant changes planned for the Mastery system moving forward. First, one of the biggest changes that the developers have on the docket is updating the Mastery crest design and emote, which has been a source of many complaints from the League fan base. When the Mastery crests’ visuals were originally changed earlier this year, players were appalled by the new look and felt they were reminiscent of a “cheap mobile game.” View the full article

There usually aren’t Ghouls in Vaults unless they’ve been compromised, so it makes sense the single-player Fallout games haven’t let you create a Ghoul character. View the full article

After a long day of work, you don't want to perch your bottom on an uncomfortable chair as you sit down for a well-earned gaming session. In an office, employers often provide comfortable and ergonomic chairs to prevent discomfort and injury and it shouldn't be any different for gamers. The best gaming chairs should be well-suited for home use, and have a lick of paint so they don't look so corporate. The Acer Predator Rift - the manufacturer's first foray into chairs - strikes the right blend of all these attributes, with good lumbar and head support, a solid build, and the ability to lean right back all for a fairly reasonable price. It sounds odd for a PC-centric brand to move into furniture, but who better to understand the needs of consumers? I used the Acer Predator Rift for several weeks of work and play, often hopping into a game straight after I clocked out for some truly long seated sessions. I found it perfectly comfortable the whole time, but is it the right option for your space? Read the rest of the story...
