  5. Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the most acclaimed RPGs of the decade, partially thanks to its healthy post-launch support. Since its initial release, the game has received new content, new game modes, and even new endings to the story. But this well of content could soon be drying up. Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke has reportedly said that the team will step away from Baldur’s Gate 3 following one last major update slated for September of this year.   8. In an unexpected turn, the persistent co-op issues of Elden Ring and all of FromSoftware's Soulsborne games prior to it have been addressed by studio president and director Hidetaka Miyazaki. Since the release of ******'s Souls, FromSoftware's RPGs (the Dark Souls series, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring) have incorporated cooperative play in a way that many players see as unnecessarily limited and cumbersome, making full co-op playthroughs of any Souls game difficult to manage. After seeing a preview of an upcoming dungeon run in the new Dawntrail expansion, Final Fantasy XIV healers have started a protest on the game’s official forums over potentially no longer being needed in certain situations. As PC Gamer pointed out, the video in question came from content creator Xenosys Vex, where he played as a Warrior Tank through the media tour dungeon for the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail expansion without a healer. Following three delays and an indefinite postponement for early access, Paradox Interactive announced today that it has now decided to completely scrap Life By You instead of continuing to develop this project further. This sudden switch-up is pretty shocking considering Life By You was originally expected to enter early access on June 4 before it was postponed indefinitely on May 20.   25. A Fallout 4 player has recreated the dastardly duo Yzma and Kronk from the 2000 Disney animated comedy film The Emperor's New Groove as playable characters.
