  1. Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC takes place in an area totally separate from the main game, initially inaccessible except at its designated starting point. It's set in the Land of Shadow, putting Elden Ring's DLC on a new map entirely distinct from the Lands Between. Although the lore makes it clear that people can travel between the two areas (and many do), it's not immediately clear whether players can actually return to the base game until they've beaten the DLC. 3. While some bosses are part of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree’s main story, others are more of a legendary tale, like the Putrescent Knight. The Putrescent Knight in Elden Ring‘s Shadow of the Erdtree is a sight to behold, with a face so distorted it defies recognition and a body that’s mostly skeletal. This formidable foe demands your utmost attention and skill. In our recommended boss order guide for Shadow of the Erdtree, we advise facing the Putrescent Knight as the fifth challenge, immediately following Messmer. This strategic placement is due to the knight’s relentless nature—its sword strikes can swiftly bring you down with just a few decisive blows. View the full article
  4. Southfield cropped up earlier this year as the joyously chaotic meeting of a physics sandbox in the vein of Gang Beasts or Human: Fall Flat with a farming/management sim like Stardew Valley or Satisfactory. The colourful title had been due to release this coming Monday, but developers ******** Forge have now pushed back its launch date indefinitely in order to prioritise “the health and well-being of our team”. 6. All three main series Dragon Age games are currently enjoying massive discounts ahead of The Veilguard's planned Fall 2024 launch. Dragon Age is BioWare's beloved fantasy series that started all the way back in 2009 with the wildly successful Dragon Age: Origins. Dragon Age: Origins was followed by a more divisive second entry, Dragon Age 2, in 2011, and the Game of the Year-winning Dragon Age: Inquisition in 2014. View the full article

  9. Corinne Busche, the game director of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, assures fans that Mages will continue to have plenty of complex combat choices in the upcoming BioWare title. While Dragon Age: The Veilguard revealed a rather controversial trailer during the Xbox Games Showcase, a subsequent gameplay trailer eased tensions in the community. The lingering debate about the next Dragon Age game concerns its combat. Instead of embracing its tactical roots from Dragon Age: Origins, The Veilguard is making a bold pivot into action-oriented combat, closer to Mass Effect 3 in nature. View the full article

  11. Over the last month, there’s been plenty of controversy surrounding Riot Games’ decision to make an overpriced League of Legends skin to celebrate the career of esports legend Faker—but not even the 28-year-old superstar is using the skin on stage. In T1’s fourth series of the 2024 LCK Summer Split, Faker locked in Ahri as his champion of choice against Kwangdong Freecs, much to the surprise of the viewers and broadcast team. Hilariously enough, however, Faker and the rest of T1 loaded into the second game of the day, only to be seen using the base Ahri skin instead of his commemorative cosmetic. View the full article
  12. Champion Shift is a Vampire Survivors-like I’ve been having quite a bit of fun with for the last few weeks. That’s partly because it’s a solid top-down auto-shooter with roguelike elements, and mostly because you can transform into a freakin’ car. Read more View the full article

That might sound complicated, but just a little bit of information goes a long way to help develop an understanding of how they work. 19. The content released in EA FC 24 Ultimate Team for Euro 2024 and Copa America has been spectacular all around, yet Make Your Mark Team 2 still outdoes it all. The Euro 2024 selection of players is particularly appetizing for everyone looking to strengthen their FUT squad this summer. Make Your Mark is the first and will likely remain the only summer campaign in EA FC 24 with more than one release, but this is not a case of quantity over quality at all. Team 2 is full to the brim with top-quality cards, some of which have the potential to reach 99 OVR. View the full article

Unfortunately, it seems fans of the series will have to rely on the existing lineup of titles in the franchise, as a potential sequel has reportedly been canceled. View the full article
