You really feel like you've spent your money wisely when you first get the Razer Blade 16 (2024) out of its box and into your hands. Its anodized ****** aluminum chassis feels pleasingly cold under your fingers, while its build quality, slim dimensions, and glowing Razer logo in the lid make it look and feel like a truly luxury product. It feels crass to use the word "*****" to describe a computer, but it works here. You'd expect that, though, when this laptop lineup starts at $2,999. The question is whether it's truly worth all that money. It's that base $2,999 version that I'm reviewing here and, on paper, it definitely has the makings of one of the best gaming laptops I've ever used. Unlike the 2023 model of the Blade 16, the new 2024 model has an OLED screen as standard, and it comes with a 24-core Intel CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU as well. To see how well this new Razer machine fares, I've been using it as my main gaming PC for a week, as well as taking it out and about to hotel rooms, cafes, and the office, to get to know its pluses and pitfalls. More leaks regarding the revival of Jet Set Radio have surfaced again online, and they point to several interesting new developments regarding the structure of the upcoming remake. Scintillation is Destiny 2‘s deadliest Strand linear fusion rifle, and it comes with enough perks to make a collage of **** rolls, depending on what you want from this *******. It’s godly in PvE, but don’t go looking for Crucible perks here. The incredible perk pool is Scintillation’s biggest strength, with multiple meta options on each column. Atari 50 was already a fairly comprehensive offering of retro games spanning half a century, launching in late 2022 as a playable museum of sorts charting the classic publisher’s output across arcade machines, the 2600, 5200, 7800 and Jaguar home consoles, 8-bit computers and the Lynx handheld. The more than 100 games included at launch was far from stingy, with an extra dozen being added in a free update at the end of last year. What are Ultimate Descendants? Although The First Descendant gives you a healthy amount of choice when it comes to which characters you have at your disposal, you'll eventually realize that not all Descendants are made equal.
