  1. Many Star Path event tasks involve getting to know the residents of your village better in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Sometimes, you need to give them gifts or spend time with them, but other tasks call for different actions—as is the case with the dish with Daisy duty. This task is deceptively tricky because of the wording that’s used for it. Once you know what needs to be done, though, it’s a super easy one to finish for a pretty decent Lily Pad Token reward. Here’s how to dish with Daisy in Disney Dreamlight Valley. View the full article

After completing the Underworld quest and meeting with Eleera from Crimson Dawn, you have to choose between telling her about the plot against Gorak or saving that information for Gorak himself. 6. Valve’s upcoming multiplayer title Deadlock has seen a ton of popularity and praise even though it’s still in its playtesting phase, and some players on Reddit have recently shined a light on one major reason for its success. The gaming community has celebrated Deadlock‘s unique approach to the MOBA and hero-shooter genres since the early days of its playtests, but one Reddit thread recently highlighted a major selling point: every character has a chance at carrying thanks to the game’s open-ended item builds and character versatility. While some fans have their own ideas of a character tier list, Deadlock’s hero pool is relatively balanced compared to other online games. View the full article

  10. Just two days after the full launch, Blizzard is patching leveling in World of Warcraft The War Within to make it *******. The MMO developer says the expansion is "not even allowing time for normal combat rotations," because of the gap between high-end Dragonflight gear and the current challenge on offer in TWW. Naturally, this hasn't gone down well with players - especially those who skipped early access. Read the rest of the story... 17. Like A Dragon/Yakuza series developer RGG Studio has locked in an RGG Summit for September 20, the same date we got its fall RGG Summit last year, and seems set to reveal . Naturally, fans have been quick to start speculating/wishing into existence stuff they'd like to see the studio whip out. The date of the Summit looks to be a bit of an interesting one, with RGG personnel, including studio head Masayoshi Yokoyama previously having said during a July live stream that its next game would be unveiled during this year's Tokyo Game Show, which is set to run from September 26 to 29. Yes, that's the week after this summit. Naturally, this has prompted a bit of fan confusion as to how RGG might handle that new game announcement it'd hinted at, given that the dates would look to rule out simply using the Summit to build on any big TGS announcement by, for example, providing more details or showing a trailer. So, it ******** to be seen what the studio has up its sleeves, but it seems like it'd be a bizarre choice to schedule the Summit for a week beforehand if RGG was holding out on a big reveal, so it wouldn't be surprising to see that initial next game announcement maybe come at the Summit instead, with more details at TGS. 18. Everybody Still Hates Chris, the animated continuation of 2000s sitcom Everybody Hates Chris, finally has a release date. You can only wonder how long people could hate Chris Rock for, but as it turns out, it's quite a while, as people are continuing to hate him in the upcoming Comedy Central show. Earlier this week, a premiere date was finally set for the show, as well as a first look at the show, which you can see in the image at the top of the page. The animated series is currently set to air next month, September 25 at 10pm ET, though I have to say, they're cutting it a bit close in terms of actually advertising the show - there hasn't been a single trailer for it yet, and with a month left to go, that doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Much like the original, the animated version is a semi-autobiographical look at actor Chris Rock's life, who has returned to star and executive produce this version. He'll once again serve as a narrator of the show as an ****** Chris looking back on his life, with Terry Crews and Tichina Arnold reprise their roles as Julius and Rochelle, Chris' parents, respectively. Original young Chris actor Tyler James Williams is obviously a bit too old to be playing a **** version of him (he's too busy teaching these days), so Tim Johnson Jr. will be replacing him, who's also joined by Terrence Little Gardenhigh and Ozioma Akagha as Chris' sibling, Drew and Tonya. 20. Star Path events feature some of the most unique items you can get in Disney Dreamlight Valley. To progress through them, you have to complete various tricky tasks, like giving a chocolate-loving queen her favorites. Most Star Path duties are fairly easy to finish once you know what they’re referring to, but it can be tough to determine what they’re asking since they are oftentimes vague hints rather than direct instructions. These tasks also sometimes seem to apply to more than one character but only work on one. If you’re unsure how to finish this particular duty, here’s who the chocolate-loving queen is in Disney Dreamlight Valley. View the full article

  23. Microsoft has just released a new Windows update aimed at boosting gaming performance on the latest AMD CPUs, as well as Intel CPUs to a lesser extent, without having to update to a whole new preview build of Windows. The move comes after evidence emerged that AMD CPU frame rates were being held back by Windows 11's thread director, with a fix coming in the forthcoming Windows 11 24H2 update. However, you can now apply this AMD Windows update to your existing Windows 11 23H2 installation. While none of AMD's new Ryzen 9000 CPUs were expected to challenge the Ryzen 7 7800X3D for the best gaming CPU title, some tests of the new CPUs showed gaming performance that was worse than expected, and it turned out that updating to the preview build of Windows 24H2 resulted in huge performance gains on the chips. 25. The sequel to Beetlejuice is almost here, and director Tim Burton has shared his feelings on the original, and what he did to prepare for the second one. Beetlejuice isn't exactly a cult classic, as it did pretty well at the box office compared to its budget at the time of its release, but it's definitely a film with a bit of a cult following. Clearly that following is big enough to get a sequel off the ground, but appearing at the Venice Film Festival (via Deadline), it appears that director Tim Burton doesn't quite understand why it was so successful and developed such a following. "As much as I love it, I never understood why it was a success," Burton said of the original film. "I could never place the film as something other than personal to me. So after all these years being able to work with Michael [Keaton], Winona [Ryder] and Catherine [O'Hara] again made it more personal and special along with Jenna [Ortega], Monica [Belluci], Justin [Theroux] and Willem [Dafoe] - new people who got into the spirit of it. So it was a very personal project for me." Read more View the full article
