  2. Behaviour Interactive has announced the newest changes coming to ***** by Daylight this August in its most recent Developer Update. Although no major changes are being made to ***** by Daylight, there are plenty of minor updates to perks, killers, and mechanics that aim to alter and improve the title's gameplay.   3. AMD has just announced that the revenue from its Gaming segment has dropped by a massive 59% compared to this ******* last year. The Gaming division is the part of the company responsible for gaming GPUs, not only the AMD Radeon chips used for PC graphics cards, but also the custom chips the firm makes for consoles, such as the PlayStation 5, and sales are evidently in decline. It's the latter that AMD has specifically pinpointed as being a driving factor in the decline of sales in its latest financial statement. Meanwhile, AMD's Radeon GPUs still power some of the best graphics card models you can buy right now, including the Radeon RX 7800 XT, but the company has struggled to keep pace with Nvidia on ray tracing and upscaling.   7. A gameplay showcase for Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is coming later this month, 2K has confirmed. The first gameplay footage will be shown during the Opening Night Live show at Gamescom, which starts at 11am PT / 4pm ET / 7pm BST on August 20.   16. You remember the Epsilon Program? It's basically the GTA series' parody of Scientology and other religions with rather out there beliefs which, at least to the cynic like you or I, can often sound a bit like cults or pyramid schemes. Well, during GTA 5's development, ex-Rockstar developer and everyone's favourite in-game radio host Lazlow Jones reckons he recieved a real life phone call from some folks who actually believe in the ways of Kifflom. This comes from an interview with IGN which largely saw Jones discuss what he's currently doing with Absurd Ventures, the studio he co-founded with Dan Houser after leaving the studio that's now starting to near the end of the road to bringing us GTA 6. Back when he was still at Rockstar and working on GTA 5, Jones says he recieved a phone call from a woman claiming to represent a group of real-life Epsilon Program followers, who told him they were "dying to know more" about the clearly not real religion first developed for GTA San Andreas. The EWC Apex tournament isn’t the only thing to get excited about this August for fans of the game, as the biggest change in Apex Legends history is just around the corner, with aim assist finally getting its much-deserved nerf. Announced Aug. 1 via Dexerto alongside the release of Apex‘s season 22: Shockwave gameplay trailer drop, it is official that Apex‘s aim assist will be reduced by 25 percent going forward.
