  4. As if waiting for a key to Delta Force: Hawk Ops’ wildly popular alpha wasn’t enough, the very vague “******* to get the branch list” error message has left multiple players annoyed and looking for a working fix—so you aren’t alone. A modern take on the classic FPS series, Delta Force: Hawk Ops launched into its first closed alpha test on Aug. 6. Contrary to what people would expect from an inspired, free-to-play first-person shooter in early testing stages, Hawk Ops managed to impress with its realistic, gripping, and optimized features, becoming an instant hit in the fandom. 5. 2XKO director Shaun Rivera has declared his fighting game developers can do exactly what League of Legends players have been longing to hear: Any champion, every character—they could all be “a ***** fighting game character.” It’s been one of the biggest questions hanging over 2XKO since well, well before the Riot Games fighting title got its big name change: Will every League champion eventually jump across to the brawler roster? 7. Forget Yordles, because there’s an even cuter and cuddlier race that appears all across Runeterra and in the deep League of Legends lore: Poros. These adorable little critters have popped up everywhere from League and TFT to Legends of Runeterra, and most famously on Howling Abyss. They originally appeared on the single-lane map in 2012 when the new mode was first invented and have stuck around as the faux-mascots of the franchise ever since. View the full article
