Our favourite city builder of 2024, Manor Lords, is having a pretty great 2025 as well. Following a meaty update that introduced a pair of new maps, bridges, building upgrades and a bunch of fixes, it's now hit the 3 million sales mark. Not bad for solo developer Slavic Magic—though that characterisation did net the developer a bit of flak last year, since contractors have also contributed to the game... In possibly the most visually interesting case of someone combining another thing I like with The Witcher 3 via a mod since someone slapped Kazuma Kiryu's back tat on big Gerry, there's now one that'll let you ride on a dragon a bit like Skyrim's Dragonborn can after visiting Solstheim. Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of megapublisher Take-Two, has reassured nervy shareholders in his big boy company by repeating that Grand Theft Auto 6 is on-track for an autumn release this year. The businessfella made the comments in a public call in which the company presented its quarterly financial earnings. Basically one of those big Zoom chats for stockbrokers. But while the executive happily reaffirmed the next GTA's arrival on console, there is still no word of a release window for PC players. Read more View the full article
“Press F to pay respects”, originated from the 2014 Call of Duty title, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. During a cutscene, players are tasked with pressing the F key to touch a soldier’s coffin during a ******** in order to pay respects the only way they can. The Call of Duty franchise has generated many memes in its long history. But none can hold a candle to the outlandishly popular “Press F to Pay Respects” meme from Advanced Warfare. Becoming Suzerain of City-States in Sid Meier's Civilization 7 is a fairly straightforward process if you know what you are doing, but the process might be a little difficult to figure out without being somewhat familiar with the in-game menus and UI. Becoming Suzerain of a City-State opens up unique gameplay options with the Independent Power and can give you strategic advantages throughout the Ages. City-States are Age-specific, meaning they reset at the beginning of each Age. However, City-States can also be incorporated into their Suzerain's empire, or overthrown and razed, just like any other major Settlement would. View the full article

The Opus Magnum quest is one you can get in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 if you’re willing to do work for Kreyzl, the miller. He’s one of the two tradesmen you can work for at the beginning of the game, and this request has you tracking down a particular book for him. The book you need to find in Opus Magnum is an alchemy book from Prague. Kreyzl needs it to learn more about his experiments. However, it’s in Trosky Castle, a heavily fortified location that you can’t simply walk into and start searching for the book. Instead, you’ll need to gain access to the castle, and Kreyzl has a few ideas on how you can do this. There’s a more straightforward method than what he suggests, though. Here’s what you need to know about how to complete Opus Magnum in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. View the full article
Traits in Verse Piece are one of the most important aspects of your character in Verse Piece. Primarily, they exponentially increase your damage and survivability. However, that's not all there is to them. Find out how to further buff your best traits with our Verse Piece trait passives guide below. What are Trait Passives in Verse Piece? Trait passive next to the trait in the stats menu Trait passives under traits in trait storage Trait passives in Verse Piece increase the damage multiplier given by your trait. For example, with the Godly passive (50% increased damage) on the Betrayer trait (7.5x damage multiplier), you will deal 11.25x the damage. Damage increase from trait passives isn't shown anywhere. However, it works, and you can test it by hitting the ****** on the Starter Island with a fruit, spec, or sword. Verse Piece Trait Passives List Below is a list of all currently available trait passives in Verse Piece. The progression here is very linear. The rarer the passive, the more it will increase your damage. Keep in mind that the trait passive works only on the trait you rerolled it on. Trait PassiveBonusChanceWeak8% increased damage25%Strong16% increased damage2.5%Descent25% increased damage1.5%Insane33% increased damage0.75%Godly50% increased damage0.25%Impossible74% increased damage0.01% How to Reroll Trait Passives in Verse Piece Passives Traits Reroll NPC in the Karakura Town (Lvl. 7500-10000) Corrupted Tickets in inventory In Verse Piece, you can reroll passives on your trait by interacting with the Passive Traits Reroll NPC found in Karakura Town. Each reroll costs you 2,500 Gems and one Corrupted Ticket. If you have a decent trait passive already, try to save up at least a hundred Corrupted Tickets before rerolling again unless you have a duplicate trait in your storage. How to Get Corrupted Tickets Corrupted Tickets are difficult to come by in Verse Piece as they drop only from Corrupted Bosses, which have 10m HP. Now, there is a relatively easy way to farm Corrupted Tickets if you have a decent build, and that is by doing Corrupted Boss Rush dungeons. Corrupted Boss Rush Dungeon at the Dungeon NPC on Runes Island Rewards from a Corrupted Boss Each run contains five Corrupted Bosses, and you will need 10,000 Gems and 10 Dungeon Tickets to enter one. Corrupted Bosses drop one or two Corrupted Tickets, depending on whether there is an ongoing event that doubles material drops. What Traits Are Worth Spending Corrupted Tickets On In general, you want to spend Corrupted Tickets wisely, as they are relatively hard to come by. So, reroll passives on traits with the highest damage multiplier in Verse Piece. Good examples are Monarch, Betrayer, and Rejected Zenin traits. Lastly, if you have excess Corrupted Tickets, just save them until new traits come out. I hope you are now ready to really max out your built-in Verse Piece with the trait passives guide above. If you want to claim some free materials, including Dungeon Tickets and Race Rerolls, then make sure to check out our Verse Piece codes. Making Saviour Schnapps in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a great way to save your game without exiting or sleeping in a bed. However, it isn't easy to find in the wild, so making your own is often the way to go. To do this, you need Nettle and Belladonna. If you want to make some Saviour Schnapps for your travels, you'll need at least one Nettle and two Belladonna. Since it's possible to fail the creation and make weak versions of this potion, having extra herbs will help you make additional batches. Here's how to find some Nettle and Belladonna. Nettle and Belladonna locations in KCD2 Nettle and Belladonna spawn abundantly in the forests surrounding Bozhena's cabin, Zhelejov, and Troskowitz. In particular, searching along rivers and ponds is your best bet, as these two plants tend to grow more commonly near bodies of water. Of these two plants, Nettle is much more common, appearing in abundance throughout most forests. For quick and easy access, head to Bozhena's Meadow where you found Chamomile and Sage during early parts of the main story or head into the forests between Zhelejov and Troskowitz for plenty of spawns. Later on in your playthrough, venturing into other forests around the map will often net you even more Nettle. Screenshot by Destructoid Belladonna is much rarer than Nettle. Although you can still find it in most forests, the best spot early on is the Nameless Spring east of Bozhena's Cabin. You'll find it by following the stream east of her place to its source. At the end, you'll find a basket full of Belladonna, and several plants to harvest. There's also plenty of Herb Paris for selling or potion-crafting. Screenshot by Destructoid Screenshot by Destructoid Alternatively, if you're far from this spot and don't want to travel back, you can also find Belladonna in the forests around Zhelejov and Troskowitz. You'll often find it alongside Nettle, letting you knock out two birds with one stone. Screenshot by Destructoid In short, if you're running around towns or open fields, you're much less likely to find Nettle or Belladonna. Instead, you'll find plants like Marigold, Valerian, or Poppies, among other flower varieties. Venturing deep into forests is the way to go, especially if there's some water nearby. At most, searching areas like the Apothecary's herb garden in Troskowitz can occasionally give you some Nettle, but you won't find much Belladonna in these local spots. How to make Saviour Schnapps using Nettle and Belladonna in KCD2 By far the best use of Nettle and Belladonna is to make Saviour Schnapps. You need one Nettle and two Belladonna for every Saviour Schnapps batch. Considering this potion is one of the few ways Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 lets you save, having extras on hand can help you in a pinch. Here are the exact steps to making Saviour Schnapps using alchemy: Pour wine into the cauldron. Add nettle to the cauldron and boil for two turns. Grind the belladonna. Add the belladonna to the cauldron and boil for one turn. Finally, pour. Screenshot by Destructoid If you're familiar with KCD1, you can use the same strategy to get Regular and Strong Saviour Schnapps. Otherwise, you can experiment with KCD2's mechanics, flipping your sandglass and raising the cauldron at the right times to get the best quality possible. You can also sell the herbs to make some money. Although herb selling isn't the most efficient way to farm Groschen, it's a solid option if you're avoiding crime or combat. Several skill perks can help make this a more worthwhile venture, including Potion Seller under Alchemy and On the Poacher's Trail under Survival to increase the money you get per herb. One of the many new changes and features that overhaul gameplay in Sid Meier's Civilization 7 is the way Great People work. Great People were an integral part of Civilization 6 and previous installments and were essential in securing a strategic edge over opposing civilizations. In Civ 7, however, their role and importance have changed dramatically, and the mechanics surrounding Great People are much more straightforward. Great People in Civ 6 fall into one of many categories and are acquired after accumulating a certain number of Great Person points in that specific category, such as a Great Merchant or Great Scientist. In a new developer blog, Riot Games has officially announced the return of Arena, one of League of Legends’ most beloved alternative modes. Although it has been absent since late September, Arena will return with new maps, enhancements, and a refreshing new look. Riot devs Andrei “Meddler” van Roon, Paul “Pabro” Bellezza, Matthew “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison, and Eduardo “Cadmus” Cortejoso spoke on numerous issues plaguing League in a Feb. 7 blog and also the return of the Arena game mode, removed from the game due to low player counts in September 2024. This new iteration of Arena is set to introduce new features to freshen up the experience, including entirely new maps and augments, alongside thematic changes that aim to make the players “feel like they’re in the fighting pits of Noxus.” View the full article
Player dissatisfaction seems to be at an all-time high in the League of Legends community, driven primarily by Riot Games’ decision to remove Hextech Chests and other rewards from the game. In a recent dev blog, however, the dev promised changes—but Hextech Chests won’t be part of them. Riot devs spoke on this and more in a Feb. 7 developer blog, claiming that the changes made to Hextech Chests and the broader League of Legends ecosystem were supposed to make the game more sustainable but have become unpopular with players. Even so, Riot remains committed to keeping League free and plans to improve the way its ecosystem functions by re-shaping some of its aspects, chiefly in the battle pass department, which should now provide more rewards, higher quality skins, and be much easier to progress through.
