  1. Tape 1 of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is filled with 90s nostalgia for simpler summers spent with friends, and a little bit of weirdness thrown in for good measure. All friend groups need a base of operations, and what better than a creepy cabin in the woods? Admittedly, it wouldn’t be my first choice for a hangout spot, but if you have a penchant for spooky things and don’t mind a hefty amount of spiderwebs, it’ll do in a pinch. About halfway through Tape 1 (scene 13, if you want to go back and replay in Collectible Mode), you’ll come across a derelict cabin in the middle of the woods. Unfortunately, you must get through the door before you can make it inhabitable, which proves problematic. First, you need to get Swann in through the window, and then you’ll need to figure out the combination for the lock on the door. How to get into the Cabin in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Screenshot by Destructoid Once you’ve found the cabin, spend some time investigating the area and pull out the camcorder to capture all of the Collectible Memoirs in the area, then make your way to the back of the cabin itself. Here, you can move a loose section of planks out of the way with Kat’s help to reveal a window. The window is boarded up, so you’ll need to find something to pull the boards off. There are plenty of things to interact with around the area, but the item you need is a hook, which is located on the side of the nearby outhouse. It’s easy to find by standing at the window and moving directly backward. When you find the outhouse, you can give Kat a boost, and she’ll pull the hook down and then hand it over. Cabin door lock combination in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Screenshot by Destructoid The strange lock inside the cabin door (which isn’t worrying in the slightest) needs four different symbols to unlock. These symbols can be found throughout the cabin itself, so get ready to explore your surroundings. Thankfully, there is an instructional page attached to the central wooden column of the cabin: Screenshot by Destructoid Screenshot by Destructoid You can completely ignore the first instruction that shows a door because the first symbol on the lock is permanently locked in place due to decay. This means you only actually have to worry about three symbols, which is a bonus. The second picture shows a ladder, but looking around the cabin initially, you’ll find there isn’t one in sight. To find it, ou’ll need to interact with the pull of the loft hatch close to the window where you initially entered. Screenshot by Destructoid Once you reach the attic, do a 180 and locate the Moon symbol on the lower right section of the wall behind you. This is the symbol needed for the second lock slot. The third image on the instructions shows a collection of cans, which you’ll need to find within the cabin. Directly below the loft hatch, you’ll see a variety of kitchen items to interact with. Locate the red can hidden behind some spiderwebs, and then rotate it to find the Leaves symbol on the bottom. Screenshot by Destructoid Screenshot by Destructoid The fourth and final symbol might confuse you, thanks to the gun shown on the instructional page. The gun should not be taken literally; it is instead a symbol for the more general theme of hunting. The only hunting paraphernalia in the cabin is a Bear Trap on the far wall, and the final symbol of some Stars can be found behind it. Screenshot by Destructoid Once you’ve found all of the symbols, you can then interact with the front door and enter them in the following order to unlock the front door, letting Kat, Autumn, and Nora into the cabin: Second dial: Moon Third dial: Leaves Fourth dial: Stars The post How to get into the cabin in the woods in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage appeared first on Destructoid.
