Arena is on its way back to League of Legends, and the popular mode will return to the PBE (Public Beta Environment) very soon. With this return, several changes to the mode, including Guest of Honor, will be made, a new feature that will force players to decide how the game’s rules will be altered. We now know every champion that will be a Guest of Honor, let’s take a look. Earlier this month, Riot broke down all the changes coming to Arena. From moving the maps to fit the Noxus theme to a new map altogether to Guest of Honor, there are several changes that players should be excited about in the return of Arena. Pokémon Go developer Niantic is reportedly in talks to sell its video game division to Saudi-owned Scopely for $3.5 billion. As first reported by Bloomberg, the ***** would likely include Pokémon Go, the hit augmented-reality mobile game that sends players out into the real world to collect Pokémon. A source talking to Bloomberg under the promise of anonymity said that while the deal was by no means complete, if approved, it could be confirmed in a matter of weeks. Neither Niantic, Scopely, nor its owner Savvy Games Group were prepared to comment publicly on the reported acquisition. Savvy Games Group acquired Scopely back in April 2023 in a deal worth $4.9 billion that came after the Saudi Arabia government said it wanted to buy "a leading games publisher." Scopely publishes a range of hit mobile titles, most notably The Walking Dead: Road to Survival, Stumble Guys, Marvel Strike Force, and Monopoly Go. War Rats is sort of trash, but I love it all the same. Oh, you're giving me a 'ratvolver' and letting me build 'turrats' and there's a dramatic close-up of swinging rat ****** in the intro montage for each stage? Yeah, go on then. It's got the vibes of something made by the guy you knew in secondary school who exclusively drew pictures of cartoon dicks but, like, they were undeniably really good dicks. Absolute ***** prodigy, that guy. Pablo Dickasso. Anyway, I'm probably making it sound like there's a serious ***** to rat ratio here but it's really just those ******. There are some great rat animations though. It's a 2D strategy tug-of-war where you push through stages summoning troops and building structures, and when you do, you're treated to a bunch of rats with hammers piling up construction barriers. When enemy rats fall, either to your own guns or your army of Ratineeers, gangs of regular-sized rats come to nibble on their corpses. They also say things like "Tell my wife…squeak".
