Throughout the three years of the digital TCG's life, Konami has tried out a wide variety of events featuring different deck-building restrictions and incentives, offering plenty of rewards for participating players. The fourth installment of the The Rising of the Shield Hero finally gets an official release date. Fans can mark their calendars as The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 will premiere in July 2025. Unfortunately, there is no specific date yet. The anime's official website made the announcement alongside a new visual, which features Naofumi sitting on a throne and surrounded by familiar allies. In addition, the visual came with a foreboding line "Revered yet w(e)ary." [Hidden Content] The news also announced the addition of two cast members, who will be voicing the two new characters featured in the poster. Takeo Otsuka, known for voicing The Apothecary Diaries' Jinshi, will be voicing the avian demi-human Werner. Meanwhile, Jiro Saito, who voiced Denken in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, will voice the lion beastman Jaralis. The anime adaptation released its first season in June 2019, second season in April 2022, and third season in October 2023. Season 4 was already confirmed to be in production months prior, with teaser visuals being released infrequently. The story revolves around the titular hero, Iwatani Naofumi. Naofumi was forced into the role after being summoned into a fantastical world as one of the Four Cardinal Heroes. Not only was the Shield Hero the least liked among the four, but Naofumi's trusted party member also betrayed him in just a few days. And so, he could only rely on himself to survive in this new world. During the three seasons, however, Naofumi already established himself as a bona fide hero. In the last season, Naofumi stepped up to unite the Four Cardinal Heroes before the Phoenix awakens. Since the season ended before the threat awakened, it's highly likely Season 4 will possibly revolve around resolving that conflict. Immediately after finding Aladdin in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you'll conclude the "The Ancient Revealed" quest and begin "Brave the Storm." Throughout Brave the Storm, you and Aladdin will travel to Agrabah's South Market and restore its market stalls to make things feel more lively. Brave the Storm quest walkthrough You'll begin the Brave the Storm quest after completing The Ancient Revealed and speaking to Aladdin. He and Princess Jasmine agree that disabling the Windcaller is a top priority, with fixing up the South Market being one of his first steps. Finding the South Market Starting from the South Alley rooftop, pick up the nearby wood planks, timber stacks, and rope to create your first bridge across the rooftops. You'll find the timber next to a massive barrel, rope behind some sandstone near Aladdin, and the wood in front of a small staircase connected to a wooden door. With each item on hand, create a bridge on the blue carpet near Aladdin to cross the gap, leading to another obstacle. Screenshot by Destructoid Screenshot by Destructoid That's right: another gap. Fortunately, you'll find a timber pile, rope, and a wooden plank near this area, which you'll use to create another makeshift bridge. Before crossing over, head into the small pathway just before this bridge to grab some extra wood and rope. By now, you should have enough resources to make two, leading you to a wooden structure you can turn into a ramp and a timber pile you'll need later in the quest. Congratulations: you and Aladdin are now in the South Market. He celebrates by giving you some Rose Water, which you can use through your inventory. All 'something sticky' item locations The most challenging part of this section is figuring out what "something sticky" is in the Brave the Storm quest's context. The answer is Sticky Fouled Fruit Sugars, a resource you obtain using your Royal Watering Can on a pile of rotting fruit. However, visiting these three locations isn't enough to locate everything, so let's go grab the rest. Here are the rest of the stall repair kit item locations: Next to the first rotting fruit pile, you'll find a timber stack in the wall's corner. Past the tornadoes to the left of the first rotting fruit pile, you'll spot a timber stack, fine rope, a bolt of silk, and two wooden planks. A long-term consultant on Warner’s recently canceled Wonder Woman game has shared some details about what the title might have offered had it seen the light of day. With former Blizzard developers involved in the StarCraft, Warcraft, and Diablo series on its team, Frost Giant Studios certainly has a solid pedigree. But its new RTS game Stormgate landed last year to a decidedly mixed reception. Razer just revealed its official line of Minecraft gear, and it's honestly a brilliantly designed collaboration. The iconic Minecraft colors suit Razer's gear like a match made in heaven, and the gaming headset, keyboard, mouse, and mouse pad included in the set are all meticulously designed using the iconic Minecraft Creeper and grass block imagery. Razer also collaborated with Fortnite last year, and I had a chance to take a look at this gear up close and was a huge fan. On first look, however, this new deal with Minecraft eclipses its previous efforts. In the wake of Monolith Productions' closure, CD Projekt's GOG has moved up its timeline for preserving one of Monolith's classics. F.E.A.R. Platinum will join the GOG Preservation Program by next month, and may also be the first of more Monolith games to hit the program. The inflential 2005 first-person shooter is getting moved up on GOG's timeline for the Preservation Program to "properly recognize Monolith's contributions to gaming." The Preservation Program is GOG's initiative to keep classic games playable on modern systems, maintaining the titles in DRM-free form and with dedicated tech support. GOG has previously featured everything from Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Complete, to the original Resident Evil trilogy, to I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream. It's an eclectic spotlight of games preserved in playable form, available on GOG's storefront, and F.E.A.R. Platinum — which includes the base F.E.A.R. and both expansions — will soon join the lineup. It may not be the last Monolith game there, either. GOG said that other Monolith icons will "join eventually as well." The storefront also teased more news to come about the Preservation Program tomorrow, February 27. The preservation effort is a nice recognition of Monolith Productions' legacy in the wake of its sudden closure. Bloomberg's Jason Schreier broke the news yesterday that Warner Bros. had canceled its planned Wonder Woman game and shuttered three studios: Monolith, Player First Games, and WB San Diego. Warner Bros.' games division has been in a difficult spot for some time. While Hogwarts Legacy chalked up a commercial win for the publisher, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League spurred a double-digit decline in revenue, and the financial failure of Smash-alike MultiVersus piled on the misery. Furthermore, David Haddad is set to leave the company after 12 years of helming Warner Bros. Games, and the division is rumored to be considered for-*****. Monolith had a legacy dating back decades, with games like Blood, Condemned: Criminal Origins, No One Lives Forever, and The Matrix Online on its resume. Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor became an instant hit, spurred on by its inventive "Nemesis System," which Warner Bros. held in a vice-grip with its patent. As with sudden love affairs, my relationship with Pokémon Pocket is starting to fizzle. I was at first enamored by its charming simplicity. Its streamlined battles were the perfect gateway to more complex Pokémon TCG games, and its free-to-play pack openings gave me a way to engage with the hobby without spending money. A brilliant new Humble Bundle has arrived with a focus on simulation games, and it's ideal for Steam Deck owners in need of some fun new experiences that aren't too mentally taxing to play. Called the House Flipper and Friends bundle, this set of seven games also includes a ton of DLC, and it'll only set you back $15. These games all run great on the best handheld gaming PC, although in one case, the built-in controller is supported but the game doesn't display controller inputs.
