Suikoden I&II HD Remastermay not change much beyond the games’ presentation, but there’s no doubt that this package is the best way to enjoy what is a criminally overlooked RPG series. It’s a tragedy that it’s taken this long for the Suikoden games to return in all their glory. While the franchise may not have the reputation of titans like Final Fantasy or Persona, Konami’s innovative approach to the formula was impressive for 1995, so much so that it still holds up remarkably well 30 years later. Suikoden I & II HD Remaster is out tomorrow. I'll have a review up soon, but I wanted to post some quick thoughts on the new translation. “For the original games, the size of the dialogue box was quite small and there wasn’t a lot that we could fit in there," producer Yasuo Daikai told IGN back in 2022. "Japanese is a language that can say a lot in a very short amount of space, but for English and other languages, you need a lot of space to say the same thing usually. The Yakuza series is infamous for its sundry minigames, and Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii is no exception to the rule. This wild Like A Dragon spin-off is an indulgent vacation in the Like A Dragon franchise, and that means it's full of treasures to explore. The Uth Duna is a large, aquatic monster you can beat in Monster Hunter Wilds, but this creature has several strengths that force you to adopt new strategies. You can't attack this monster recklessly, as it has natural defenses and can manipulate the surrounding environment. Since you can only encounter Uth Duna under certain weather conditions, this Leviathan may become a big challenge. View the full article
Now that everyone is used to hunting down powerful beasts in Monster Hunter: Wilds, the game’s developers have unveiled a total of seven different limited-time Event Quests that offer exclusive rewards. These quests run throughout March, with the first quest already available to all players at HR rank nine. Baldur's Gate 3 is a game with an indescribably expansive world with enemies of varying degrees of difficulty, most of which tend to get significantly harder on higher difficulties. In Baldur's Gate 3, the hardest difficulty in the game is Honour Mode, which not only challenges players by limiting them to only a singular save, ending the game upon death, but also giving bosses Legendary Actions. Monster Hunter Wilds is a practically flawless game and yet another masterpiece from Capcom. In fact, it is further proof that the developer is on a roll, releasing incredible game after incredible game to the delight of fans. Outside a few minor points, there's very little to criticize about Monster Hunter Wilds for both newcomers who are delighted by its level of accessibility and veterans who are enjoying all the innovative features. Violence is justified when these R.E.P.O. monsters keeping coming at you. So get yourself some weapons and ready up—it’s time to fight back. While the Shotgun is the obvious choice as the best R.E.P.O. weapon, we’re excluding it from the list due to its ridiculously high asking price ($88K to 92K). It’s highly likely you won’t get this prior to level six, especially if you’re buying Health Packs and upgrades. All weapons are purchasable from the Service Station (their spawn is randomly generated every time you visit). Arcane’s easily going to go down in gaming history as one of the best TV adaptations of all time. Fans heavily praised the Netflix series for its development of its main cast, but even the minor characters shined in the limited time they had on screen. But of those side characters, who should have received more screen time for fans to better understand their background? One Arcane fan put the question to the test, giving users on the show’s subreddit a number of side characters to choose from: Lest, Rictus, Maddie, or Loris. Fallout 4 has dozens of achievements included in the base game and its DLC packages. Many of them revolve around completing the various main quests and those for the game's factions. That means achievement and trophy hunters will need to complete multiple playthroughs to get them all.
