While looking at comments during a livestream, content creator Ethan Klein singled one user out, pulling their Instagram profile with no censorship for his viewers to see. The user’s family was then reportedly harassed, with a bomb threat called on his mother’s workplace. In a March 1 clip shared on Reddit, YouTuber Ethan Klein of h3h3 went through comments left on his wife’s Instagram account, singling out one user who told the pair to “enjoy hell,” allegedly because of their political views regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict. Klein pulled up the user’s profile on the stream, sparing no time to censor any information, and showed pictures of both the user and his family and friends to anyone who tuned into the stream. Klein called him a “giant racist piece of *****,” accusing him of being an anti-Semite. The user later replied to the ordeal on his TikTok account, saying that Klein incited his fans to harass him and his family and that he is being “witch-hunted.” View the full article

Ruanga is a key figure in the "One Last Drink" quest in Avowed. She is one of Captain Ngunu's old crew members, and you have to try to recruit her to come have a drink with the captain. However, Ruanga is located at the Abandoned Mine, which is seemingly impossible to access in Shatterscarp. Find out how to reach Ruanga in the guide below. How to get into the Abandoned Mine in Avowed The Abandoned Mine is located just to the north of Thirdborn in Shatterscarp. However, the text of the location on the map is inside the large mountain that takes up a huge chunk of the central part of the region. You can try to enter the Abandoned Mine from all directions, including from the south near Thirdborn and all the way to the north from Shark's Teeth. However, these endeavors will be fruitless, as the mine can only be entered through one, specific way. Your only way into the mine is through a small crevice inside the mountain. This crevice is located on the western side of the Abandoned Mine text on your map. Follow the steps below to reach the crevice and enter the mine: Start by traveling to the Party Camp or fast travel beacon located directly north of Thirdborn Then, head up the road to the west of the Party Camp or to the north of the fast travel beacon Make sure to hug the mountain on your right, walking along the rocks that are at the foot of the mountain Keep going until you see the fossil of a lizard imprinted on the wall of the mountain The small entrance to the Abandoned Mine. Screenshot by Destructoid Just below that lizard fossil is the crevice you can enter to get inside the Abandoned Mine Walk through the crevice, and you'll reach the mine, where your new job is to find Ruanga You can see exactly where the crevice to get into the Abandoned Mine is located by looking at the map screenshot below. Just go exactly where our blue character arrow is, and you'll be standing right in front of it. The map location of the Abandoned Mine entrance. Screenshot by Destructoid Once you're inside the Abandoned Mine, Ruanga isn't out in the open waiting for you. You'll have to go and find her, which isn't as easy as it sounds since you're only given a large quest area to search through instead of a specific quest marker to follow. How to find Ruanga in Avowed Inside the Abandoned Mine, walk forward from the cave to start climbing on some wooden scaffolding. Keep going until you're able to stand on some planks, and then turn to the west to find a couple of small cave entrances. Ruanga is located in the larger of the cave entrances and once you get close enough, you're given a quest marker on your HUD to easily follow. Inside Ruanga's cave, speak to her to progress the One Last Drink side quest in Avowed. Ruanga is located inside one of the upper caves in the Abandoned Mine. Screenshot by Destructoid As you'll soon learn, though, Ruanga can't be convinced to reunite with Captain Ngunu, as she thinks she's trying to kill her and the rest of his former crew. This isn't the last time you can speak with Ruanga, however, as she can play a huge part in the ending to One Last Drink. You can read about how to use Ruanga further and all the possible endings to One Last Drink in our complete quest guide. Suffice it to say, though, nothing is as it seems in this Avowed side quest. After speaking with Ruanga, it's highly recommended to stick around and explore the Abandoned Mine. You can find some nice rewards around the location, including a Fragment of Starmetal that's used to start or progress the Forged of Star-Stuff side quest. This quest can earn you one of the best weapons in Avowed, so it's worth picking up the Fragment of Starmetal here to ensure you don't have to come back and scale the Abandoned Mine again. Aside from that, though, the only time you'll have to come back to the Abandoned Mine is to potentially speak with Ruanga again during the One Last Drink quest. If you do have to come back, at least you know the way to get there. The post How to find Ruanga at the Abandoned Mine in Avowed appeared first on Destructoid. View the full article

Marvel Rivalsseems on the verge of bringing in outside franchises for crossover events, but how could this work? Rivals has had one of the most successful launches of a live-service game imaginable, and it hasn't slowed down. Season 1, while twice as big as a normal season, added four new heroes, two new maps, and various quality-of-life changes. Though expectations are now focused on Season 2, there is some evidence that Season 1 may have a secret fifth hero. View the full article

It's been a lifetime since I read George Orwell's 1984 - a tale of mass surveillance, indoctrination and repression nowadays invoked to describe everything from Trump's Twitter ban to Pizza Express telling you that jelly-beans aren't a topping - but I will always remember how it combined role-playing with adventure gaming and brought the "detail of Riven into the real-time world of Quake". Oh, forgive me, I'm actually remembering Big Brother, a video game sequel to Orwell's book, which I have never played, because it never made it to shelves. Online sleuths have just dug up and published an ancient E3 demo for this mysterious game. Here it be, and here be some footage for any unpersons concerned that downloading the files might get them shipped off to a joycamp by thinkpol. Read more View the full article

Event quests, limited time hunts that offer special rewards, are a mainstay of Monster Hunter replayability. They're usually available for a week at a time, and completing them can provide materials for event-exclusive armor sets, farmable upgrade materials, and more. Capcom just rolled out the first event quests for Monster Hunter Wilds, and as far as I'm concerned, one of the rewards is a definite must-get: materials for crafting a Mimiphyta helmet, which lets you run around with a precious woodland creature clinging to your scalp... Monster Hunter Wilds has been taking the gaming world by storm, and for good reason. It is the most innovative and exciting Monster Hunter game yet, offering a strikingly immersive open world filled with challenging monsters to face, resources to gather, and armor sets to craft. There's so much to love about Monster Hunter Wilds, including its narrative, which has to be the best in the entire series, largely because Capcom actually cared about it this time around. Bungie has already shown what new Perks will be coming to the Artifact in Destiny 2's second Act of Heresy. The game is about to get great for trace rifle fans, and the weapons should even work well with existing Arc setups, thanks to all those great Arc trace rifles. Each Destiny 2 Episode (like Seasons before) gives players an Artifact to level throughout the content stretch. While the Artifacts typically have some narrative significance to what's happening during the Episode, the more direct benefit of these items is the assortment of Artifact Perks offered. Each Artifact starts with five columns and five rows of Perks, with players working their way from the left to right side. As the Episode progresses, new rows of Perks are added, giving even more variety. The Artifact Perks players started Heresy with were Arc-dominant with some options for Void and Strand as well. Now, trace rifles will get some time in the sun, which might influence what you decide to bring into your next Raid or Dungeon. All in on trace rifles Screenshot by Destructoid The Artifact Perks are mostly centered around Trace rifles, making a compelling case for anyone looking to use the new Lodestar Exotic to get the best of both worlds between the first Act's Arc Perks and the upcoming trace rifle Perks. The new Perks are also strong enough to make Microcosm a serious consideration for boss damage, as it oddly benefits from being a Kinetic weapon. Perk name:Overload Trace RiflesBeam MedicElemental SiphonHarsh RefractionLimit BreakDescription:Uninterrupted fire from your equipped trace rifle causes the beam to stun combatants, delaying ability energy regeneration and Exhausting them.Rapid trace rifle final blows heal you and nearby allies. Powerful combatants increase the amount.Rapid final blows with a Kinetic weapon or a weapon matching your equipped Super create an elemental pickup that matches your equipped Super.Trace rifles do more damage to targets afflicted by elemental debuffs matching their element type.Casting a Super while you are critically wounded or have an elemental buff matching your Super element grants a ******* of increased Super damage.Notes:Exhausted targets deal reduced outgoing damage. Will work with final blows earned from the Detonator Beam Perk. The effect can be boosted by the Tome of Want.Always on for Kinetic trace rifles (Microcosm).Activates on cast of Super. How do these Artifact Perks shake up the meta? Image via Bungie As previously mentioned, these new Artifact Perks can mix quite well with many of the Arc Perks from the first Act. Specifically, if players want to stick with an Arc build, the second column of Artifact Perks only offers Overclock and Load. In Act II, Beam Medic will supplement the column nicely, allowing an Arc trace rifle like Lodestar or the new Guardian Games reward to shine. The same can be said for the fourth column, where Arc builds are only benefitting from Flashover. Harsh Refraction can help pick up some slack on damage, especially if Guardians weren't making use of Horde Shuttle or Maligned Harvest. That said, even if players don't want to run Arc, Harsh Refraction seems like a no-brainer regardless of the Subclass you're running, so long as you're using a trace rifle matching the element of your Super. If a trace rifle can become an integral part of nearly any elemental build, and reap benefits from Artifact Perks that not only heal players but increase damage, why not swap out that heavy machine gun for Overload Trace Rifles, too? After all, the Artifact Perks only stick around until the end of an Episode, and alongside all of those other buffs, it sounds like some traces will be able to make short work of Champions. Plus, have a little fun playing laser tag while it lasts, who knows when trace rifles will get this much attention again.
