Capcom has released Monster Hunter Wilds hotfix 1.000.05.00 across all platforms, making important improvements and fixes for the game. The patch removes various progression blockers and fixes various bugs, but players won’t find any performance improvements in the patch notes, below. Monster Hunter Wilds is still sitting on a ‘mixed’ user review rating on Steam despite its record-breaking launch, and most of the complaints revolve around performance problems on PC. Despite these issues, Monster Hunter Wilds’ success cannot be denied. It sold a huge 8 million copies in just three days, becoming the fastest-selling Capcom game of all time. Monster Hunter Wilds has the fifth highest ever concurrent player count on Steam, with a whopping 1,384,608 peak. That’s more than Dota 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Elden Ring managed on Valve’s platform. By comparison, Monster Hunter: World had a peak of 334,684. A title update for Monster Hunter Wilds, expected in early April, is due to add a new endgame area to gather as well as more monster hunting action for players to embark on. Southshore is one of WoW Classic’s most famous questing hubs—and for good reason. Mid-level players in their late-20s and early-30s will flock to Southshore to gain some quick experience and get away from the hustle and bustle of other questing zones like Stranglethorn Vale, for example. Southshore, however, is an Alliance-only town, meaning only about half of the WoW player base has access to it. Plus, it’s located in the Hillsbrad Foothills, which is way easier to access if you’re a Horde player. The V1.04 update is now live in WWE 2K25. It includes a few major changes and a permanent solution to MyRise mode crashes. Advanced access hasn't been without issues, as the MyRise mode has been filled with crashes. Similarly, Steam users could not download the game because of a wrong launch date was being shown for the Deadman and Bloodline Editions. Thankfully, the latest update should resolve most, if not all, of the issues plaguing the players during advanced access. All competitive video games are plagued by the same issues: cheating, smurfing, and quitting, and Marvel Rivalsis no different. Recent updates by its developer, NetEase Games, are trying to solve some of these problems by making it easier for players to report in-game issues, most specifically quitting mid-match. These changes are good in theory, but in conjunction with technical issues that affect most players and a lack of response to these issues from NetEase, this update might cause more harm than good. When I first realized we were actually going to get a Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 remake and watched the trailer, a surge of memories came rushing in from back in my PlayStation 1 and N64 days. Things didn't look so great for a while, with reports hat THPS 3+4 was canceled, but thankfully, that has changed. The THPS 1+2 remake is a pleasure, and it's a game that I escape to often if I just want to mess around and have some fun.
