  1. With Madden NFL 26 releasing soon, there are plenty of new features to this title that make it stand out from previous iterations of the football simulation series. Some of the coolest new mechanics in Madden 26 are realistic weather and exhaustion systems that introduce wear and tear to different games. While this does create an authentic atmosphere of the sport from real life, these features could hinder player experiences. View the full article

  3. Nintendo Switch 2 owners hoping for the release of Infinity Nikki on the new console will have to wait a while, but there seems to be plenty of possibility for the future. While Infinity Nikki's developer and publisher, Infold Games, is in favor of branching out to new platforms, the company is currently facing some obstacles that make a Switch 2 port impossible for the time being. 4. Blizzard recently unveiled the 2.2.3 Update for Diablo 4, which fixes some issues that the game and its Vessel of Hatred DLC were still reporting. The patch is already available for gamers who play on PC, and it will be automatically downloaded when gamers log in to Diablo 4. View the full article

  6. Genshin Impact players can obtain free Primogems by pre-registering for Version 5.7, allowing them to stock up on some bonus currency in time for Skirk. As Genshin Impact sets the stage for Version 5.7, it's important for players to keep in mind that the patch will offer a limited number of Primogems. Despite introducing a new endgame mode to Genshin Impact, Version 5.7 is estimated to only have about 54 Intertwined Wishes for free-to-play accounts. View the full article
  7. Rainbow Six Siege X, the biggest update to Ubisoft's team-based tactical shooter to date, has seen its player count on Steam jump by more than double to 142,000 concurrent players. Rainbow Six Siege Xlaunched alongside the game's Operation Daybreak season on June 10, nearly a decade after the original game's release back in December 2015. View the full article
  8. After over 1200 hours of playing Elden Ring, I still find myself discovering new features that catch me by surprise. After feeling nostalgic from my time enjoying Nightreign, I decided to revisit the Lands Between, and I noticed that I was receiving a random Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot rune buff despite not having used one or equipping any other items that might trigger the buff. I also noticed that there were golden specks floating around the area, which made me think that maybe I had stumbled upon an undiscovered secret area. View the full article
  9. Rainbow Six Siege X marks the tenth year of the popular tactical shooter, but if you're on either Xbox or PlayStation, some occasional errors might disrupt your enjoyment. The new season has plenty of exciting content, including fresh game modes for fans to explore. The game is officially free-to-play, with the launch of the Free Access edition. However, if you have been experiencing technical issues on your consoles, here are some simple tricks. Rainbow Six Siege X not working on console fixes Most problems that prevent Rainbow Six Siege X from working on consoles also apply if you're playing on a PC. Can't connect to the servers: Every operation on Rainbow Six Siege X requires you to be connected to the internet. We have a detailed guide about what to do if you can't connect to the servers. In short, always check the game's server status to establish that it's operational, and you can begin your sessions.Restart your consoles: This used to happen when I owned an Xbox Series S. The game would simply fail to load past the loading screen or execute an infinite loading screen. The easiest way to solve this problem is to restart your console. I haven't encountered the same problem on my PS5, but the same action should be taken if it happens to you.Update the client: The client should usually update automatically on your consoles. If there's a mismatch between the client version and Ubisoft's servers, there will be crashes. Hence, either manually install the updated client or perform a clean reinstall. Apart from these specific problems mentioned above, other minor issues can happen (not exclusive to consoles). Changing the NAT type can prevent matchmaking errors if that's a problem you're encountering.Ensure that no background downloads are consuming the bandwidth of your connection. That should fix any problem you might face trying to enjoy the Year 10 content in Rainbow Six Siege X on your consoles. 12. When is the Resident Evil 9 release date? 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of Capcom's beloved survival horror series, and it stands to reason that the next installment is as much a look back at what came before as it is another step forward. The official reveal at Summer Game Fest was as good a confirmation as any. It's one of the most iconic horror game locations and holds a lot of memories for Resident Evil's characters, history, and fans. Prepare for this zombie-infested trip down memory lane with everything we know about the RE9 release date, including the latest trailers, news, and theories. Read the rest of the story... 15. Age of Empires 4 took me by surprise. I'm a cast-iron AoE 2 acolyte. More broadly, I think the visual design of RTS games peaked in the '90s - Command and Conquer, Jagged Alliance, and Total Annihilation remain three of the best-looking games of all time, regardless of genre. In theory, AoE 4, which is a real-time strategy game in 3D (I know!) shouldn't work for me. But Relic, World's Edge, and Forgotten Empires' sequel is a more-than-deserving companion to AoE 2. If you haven't played it before, the gigantic Deluxe edition is now available for ultra-cheap. Read the rest of the story... 19. Intel is going all out on bargain CPU deals at the moment, and this latest one not only enables you to grab an Intel Core i5 14600K for just $199.99, but you also get a free MSI AIO cooler and two games as well, including Civilization 7. The free gifts alone would cost you just $184.98, meaning the 14-core Intel CPU effectively costs you just $15. I've seen some genuinely good deals in my time, but this one is outstanding in terms of value. Unlike the recent Intel Arrow Lake chips, the Core i5 14600K is based on the last-gen Raptor Lake architecture, which is much better for gaming. Given that the Core i5 14600K usually costs more than $200 anyway, and launched at an MSRP of $329, the fact that you can now get it for $199.99, plus a load of free goodies, makes this one of the best gaming CPU deals I've ever seen.
