  7. It's odd to say, but I've recently started to feel that it's the complex board games, not the dead simple ones, that really seal the deal when you're trying to win friends over into the hobby. That's not because complexity appeals to noobs; as a Warhammer evangelist, I can tell you it doesn't. It's because the experience of feeling a complicated, beautiful game fall into place is far more addictive than replaying straightforward ones over and over. And no game in recent memory has shown me this more plainly than Leder Games' magnificent new board game, Arcs: Conflict and Collapse in the Reach. Read the rest of the story... 10. Remastering an old game is simple, right? You just pop the files into your new engine, click the big red button labeled 'remaster,' et voila. Remastering a map must be even easier, seeing as it's smaller than a full game, right? Wrong. Even if I'm taking a simplistic approach to criticisms of remasters, a lot more work goes into them than you'd expect. Battlefield 6 is no different, and we sat down with the devs after going hands-on with Operation Flashpoint to find out exactly what goes into remastering classic maps, and how they have to live up to player expectations. 12. When you have a series that's consistently gotten new games for almost 40 years, you have to think about how younger generations will be able to play them. That, and, of course, thinking about your bottom line, has led every publisher to lean more and more into multiplatform releases. On top of PC ports, Square Enix has released a decent amount of remasters and special editions of the Final Fantasy series specifically for Nintendo's handheld. The Final Fantasy games hitting Switch isn't entirely unprecedented. The connection between Final Fantasy and Nintendo dates back to the series’ infancy, when the first game debuted on Nintendo's Famicom system in 1987. In fact, the first six mainline Final Fantasy games debuted on Nintendo platforms before Square Enix jumped to PlayStation as the series’ primary platform with Final Fantasy 7. We've got a lot to look forward to on both Switch systems in 2026, including Final Fantasy VII Remake Integrade on Switch 2 and physical Switch editions of Final Fantasy VII through IX. Below, we’ve compiled a complete list of Final Fantasy games available on the Nintendo Switch and what to expect next. How Many Final Fantasy Games Are Available on Switch? There are 21 Final Fantasy games you can play on the Switch — 12 mainline games, one prequel, and eight spinoffs. These games have been split into two sections below: mainline games (ordered by original release date) and other games (ordered by Switch release date). Every Mainline Final Fantasy Game on SwitchFinal Fantasy 1–6 Pixel Remaster The first six Final Fantasy games are all available on Switch as part of Square Enix’s Pixel Remaster collection. Each game has been overhauled with new graphics, rearranged soundtracks, updated UIs, and new galleries for players to explore the creatures, illustrations, and music from all six games. If you're interested in diving into the original Final Fantasy experience, this is the best way to do it. The Pixel Remasters are available individually ($12–18 USD/each) or as part of the six-game Final Fantasy I–VI bundle ($75 USD). If you're looking at the games individually, I'd recommend FF6, as it has one of the more immersive storylines. Final Fantasy 7 One of the series’ most beloved games, Final Fantasy VII, is also available on Switch. This is not a remastered version of the game but rather a port of the 1997 original with three extra features: a 3x speed mode, the ability to turn battle encounters off, and a battle enhancement mode to make encounters easier. While the newer remasters, Remake and Rebirth, introduce modern action RPG mechanics to Cloud Strife's battle against Sephiroth, the Switch edition of FFVII is one of the best opportunities to experience what made the original PlayStation game so impactful. Final Fantasy 8 Remastered The series’ next entry is also available on Switch as Final Fantasy VIII Remastered. This updated version was released in 2019, 20 years after FF8 originally debuted on PlayStation. Additions to the remastered version include a 3x speed mode, the ability to turn off random encounters, and battle assist options to lessen the difficulty of combat. Final Fantasy 9 Final Fantasy IX on Switch, like FFVII before it, is a port of the original RPG, which, despite not being quite as "famous" as Final Fantasy VII, is considered to have one of the best storylines in the series. The Switch version includes a few extras compared to the 2000 original, including high-speed and no-encounter modes, an autosave feature, and HD cutscenes and character models. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is a bundle of Final Fantasy X and its sequel X-2 (the series’ first-ever direct sequel). The two games feature over 100 hours of RPG content, according to IGN sister site How Long to Beat, and include upgraded graphics and reworked audio (with the ability to switch back and forth between the new and original sounds). Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Skipping the now-shuttered MMORPG Final Fantasy XI, the series’ next mainline game available on Switch is Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age. The Zodiac Age, a remaster of the 2006 original, features HD graphics and a re-recorded soundtrack, as well as the Zodiac Job System, an increased battle tempo, an optional high-speed mode, and autosave functionality. Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition HD Final Fantasy XIII and XIV: Online are not available on Switch, which brings us to Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD. It’s the latest mainline game available on the platform, as FFXVI is still only available on PS5 and PC. Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition HD is an abridged version of the original game with cartoonish character models, simplified combat, a reduced skill tree, and fewer side quests. Pocket Edition HD does, however, retain the full FFXV story, boys on the road and all. Other Final Fantasy Games on SwitchWorld of Final Fantasy Maxima (2018) World of Final Fantasy Maxima, co-developed by Square Enix and prolific Japanese developer Tose, came to Switch with new content and the subtitle ‘Maxima’ two years after it was first released on PS4 and Vita. It’s an accessible RPG aimed at younger audiences that combines the series' Active Time Battle system with the ability to capture Mirages (i.e., creatures) to use in battle. Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! (2019) Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! is a remastered version of the 2007 Wii game Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon. This Final Fantasy spinoff is a turn-based RPG with randomly generated dungeons and a buddy system that allows players to bring other creatures or characters along for the dungeon-crawling chaos. Collection of Mana (2019) This collection of three Mana games is on this list due to its inclusion of the 1991 Game Boy game Final Fantasy Adventure. Despite beginning as a Final Fantasy spinoff, the Mana series dropped those ties with the release of its second game, Secret of Mana, and has since remained an independent franchise. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition (2020) Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is an enhanced version of the 2004 RPG/dungeon crawler originally released for GameCube. Crystal Chronicles for Switch features a cute aesthetic, online co-op, and the addition of English voiceover for the first time. It’s a graphical improvement upon the original that also added new areas, monsters, weapons, and a higher-difficulty option. Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend (2020) Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend compiles three Game Boy games: Final Fantasy Legend I–III. We’ve included these games in service to creating a comprehensive list, though these are only Final Fantasy games in name; the SaGa games belong to an independent franchise of RPGs inspired by but not necessarily connected to Final Fantasy. The first three SaGa games were given the Final Fantasy name to capitalize on the brand recognition with western audiences. The collection adds a high-speed mode and Switch-specific enhancements like adjustable screen magnification and the ability to play with your Switch oriented vertically (when in handheld mode, with Joy-Cons detached). Crisis Core –Final Fantasy VII– Reunion (2022) A prequel to Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core –Final Fantasy VII– Reunion is a remastered version of the 2007 PSP RPG. The game stars a young warrior named Zack Fair, whose connection to Cloud and FFVII is revealed throughout the story. Reunion features remastered graphics, new character and background models, fully voiced dialogue, a newly arranged soundtrack, and a refined battle system. Theatrhythm Final Bar Line (2023) A rhythm game that celebrates the music of Final Fantasy, Theatrhythm Final Bar Line launched with 385 tracks from across the Final Fantasy series, though that has since grown to include music from other Square franchises for a total of 505 tracks. The Final Fantasy music pulls from 46 games, according to Squre, including FFI–XV. Theatrhythm Final Bar Line features over 100 characters and online multiplayer support for up to 8 players. Chocobo GP (2023) Chocobo GP is a Final Fantasy-themed kart racer developed by Arika (Tetris 99). While there are better kart racers available on Switch, Chocobo GP is a fun respite from the more involved RPGs that make up the majority of the Final Fantasy franchise. Like other kart racers, it features time challenges, tournament-style races, and options for multiplayer racing. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles (2025) A remake of Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles recently came to PS5 and Switch with enhanced graphics, voiced dialogue, and various quality of life improvements over the original PS1 game. Ronny Barrier's review for IGN says the remake of the tactical RPG removes "the cruft of Final Fantasy Tactics while surfacing what made it special through smart UI tweaks, convenience features, and excellent new voice acting." Upcoming Final Fantasy Games on Nintendo Switch Square Enix has confirmed that all of the Final Fantasy VII remakes will be making their way to the Nintendo Switch 2 over time. While the Switch 2 has been available for a while now, we only recently got news of the first remake coming to the new console at the September Nintendo Direct. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Integrade is finally being released on the Switch on January 22, 2026 and preorders for the game come with a free MTG booster pack. For more on the franchise, check out our in-depth guide on how to play the Final Fantasy games in order. [/url] Jordan covers games, shows, and movies as a freelance writer for IGN. 13. Updated on November 22: Overhauled all the tier lists and added all the new Awakenings, Spirits and Rackets from the latest Update 6 released on November 15, 2025. I'll show you the best Rackets, Spirits and Awakenings in Racket Rivals for 1v1s, 2v2s and 3v3s. Note that I gave a slight edge to how good they are for 2v2s and 3v3s but when a Spirit or Awakening is really strong for 1v1s I'll mention it. Let's rank them all in this Racket Rivals Spirit, Awakening and Racket tier list and guide. Table of contentsRacket Rivals Awakening Tier ListS-Tier AwakeningsA-Tier AwakeningsB-Tier AwakeningsC-Tier AwakeningsRacket Rivals Spirits Tier ListS-Tier SpiritsA-Tier SpiritsB-Tier SpiritsC-Tier SpiritsRacket Rivals Racket Tier ListRacket Highlights in Racket RivalsRacket Rivals Awakening Tier List Image by Destructoid First I'll talk about the Awakenings in Racket Rivals. I'll be using the classic tiers but the left-to-right positions don't matter. In this game, lower rarity doesn't mean weaker since a lot of the powerful options are actually based on how good you play. This means you should find the Spirit and Awakening that suits you best. That said, some can be more flexibile than others or powerful in more situations. Below I'll go into all Spirits and Awakenings individually but for now here's what each tier means: S-Tier: The most powerful and overall most useful Spirits and Awakenings in Racket Rivals.A-Tier: Excellent secondary options that can be just as powerful as S but require more set-up.B-Tier: Are still decent alternative options, they're just more situational and based on either play style or if you find them more fun than higher-power abilities.C-Tier: Is for absolute mid options that aren't "never-use" but are drastically underpowered compared to the ones aboveD-Tier: Are trash options you should never use but currently there aren't any like this.S-Tier AwakeningsS-Tier RankingsAbility/EffectWhy S-Tier GooeyApply goo on the ball that slows and mini-stuns an opponent you hit with it.• Amazing for 1v1s but also good for 2v2 and 3v3 since it's basically a mini-stun • Dominates 1v1s and I would use it in 2v2s as well but maybe not 3v3s Curve Shot4-StarAwakeningYour shots curve the ball to its maximum making it difficult to predict for blockers.• Curve Shot is OP for 1v1s for free points • It's less good for 3v3s since there are so many blockers but it can still mess up their block • It's the best Awakening for 1v1s and 2v2s • You should look for openings on the enemy court and then curve to that position Energy DrainDoes the combined effect of a Captain Salute team speed buff and the Ground Slam enemy speed debuff. That said the Captain Salute effect is only for you and there's no knockback like with Ground Slam.• Not the best for 1v1s but quite strong for 2v2 and useful for 3v3s • You just have to know when to use it since you should capitalize on the aggressive speed boost part • The enemy team debuff part can be somewhat dealt with by dashes but this is still a lot of value for a single Awakening since it can be used offensively and defensivelyA-Tier AwakeningsA-Tier RankingsAbility/EffectWhy A-Tier Tide WallSends a wave that speeds up your shuttle and slows down enemy shuttles when they hit it back.• Not hugely powerful but the cool thing about Tide Wall is that it's useful for every game mode • Most dominate a single game mode like 1v1 or 3v3 but Tide Wall's ball speed up and slow are good everywhere Wall PortalsWhile active the walls can be used as portals to send the ball to the enemy team's court.• It isn't bad as people say, you just have to learn to play around the portals • Send the ball through the portals low so that it's difficult to return it when it teleports • Wait for the ball to almost hit the ground then hit it towards a wall to teleport it • There's so many playmaking options and it's the best in 1v1 and 2v2 but can still be good in 3v3 Captain SalutePlace down a flag on your side of the court that buffs the movement speed of your entire team.• One of the most useful Awakening in Racket Rivals for your 3v3s and 2v2s to a degree but not good in 1v1s • It just makes your entire team better allowing you to reach spots on the court to block better or counterattack • The more people on your team the better it is for both offense and defense • Always good, you can spam itB-Tier AwakeningsB-Tier RankingsAbility/EffectWhy B-Tier FakeSend out two shuttles when you hit it with one being fake to confuse your opponent.• It's basically a 1v1 Awakening but it's a 50-50 chance for you to score a point • It gets less good the more enemies there are in 2v2 and 3v3 since they'll just go after all the shuttles • IMO a worse Curve Shot Ground SlamOpposite of Captain Salute where you summon rocks on the enemy court that slow them down.• Ground Slam can be quite good for 3v3s to hinder the enemy team • That said the enemy team can still dash so use after they dash • In these scenarios the enemy will probably just Freeze but you are applying pressure nonetheless • It's really bad for 1v1s though • You should only use it after you see one or two enemies use dash so that they can't dash out of it right awayC-Tier AwakeningsC-Tier RankingsAbility/EffectWhy C-Tier Hocus PocusMakes your teammate invisible.• While this sounds good on paper and should be a high-tier ability for 2v2 and 3v3 it has one big problem • The enemy team can still see your teammates charging which negates the benefit • Plus it's mostly for 2v2 and 3v3 AimbotThe AI of the game determines where your ball will go. In theory it sends it to the best possible side of the enemy court where there are no defenders.• In practice, this ability is broken and it constantly sends the ball to the wrong place in the court that's not that hard to block • Freeze always counters it but even in general, you can reach the ball with a dash • Needs a buff and currently it's the worst Awakening in Racket RivalsRacket Rivals Spirits Tier List In terms of the best Spirit in Racket Rivals the same criteria apply as above with the Awakenings. Let's dive into each individual Spirit and see how they compare to one another. That said, at the end of the day, you should always pick the one that suits your playstyle the best. S-Tier SpiritsS-Tier RankingsAbility/EffectWhy S-Tier GomuFreeze: Freeze the ball in place regardless of position until someone hits it or the freeze effect runs out. Level UpgradesLevel 2: Freezes duration increase Level 3: Reduces the cooldown Level 4: Freeze duration increase Level 5: Reduces the cooldown• Easily the best Spirit in Racket Rivals because it can be used both offensively and defensively • You can save yourself or your team from shots that are impossible or really hard to block • You basically just stop the game and then can line up a perfect counterattack shot • Just make sure not to spam it and only use it when you can't block the ball • For offense it's best used to confuse your enemies with the ball's trajectory or timing JinAstral Set: Pulls the ball towards you and sets it for you. Level UpgradesLevel 2: The ball pull is faster Level 3: Sets the ball higher for you Level 4: Reduces the cooldown Level 5: The ball pull is even faster• Really powerful for switching up attack timings or defensively • Wherever the ball is it will be pulled to you • Can be used like the Freeze defensively but also has a lot more offensive potential • The only problem is randoms in public games that don't react well to your Astral Set and can actually miss and score a point for the enemy • So this is much better in an organized teamA-Tier SpiritsA-Tier RankingsAbility/EffectWhy A-Tier GazoTime Control: Slows down time for a short duration Level UpgradesLevel 2: The slowing effect is even slower Level 3: The effect lasts longer Level 4: Another boost to the slowing effect Level 5: Even longer effect duration• A weaker version of Freeze but still useful since you can still position better for defense and offense during the slow • It would be better if it lasted longer but it's still incredibly good for both 1v1 and team matches HinariOverheat: You set the ball on fire and while it is on fire the enemy team can't hit it unless they set it first to put out the fire. Level UpgradesLevel 2: Longer effect Level 3: Lowers the cooldown Level 4: Longer effect Level 5: Lowers the cooldown• Hinari is OP in 1v1s but is also quite useful in 2v2s and 3v3s • His ability basically scores a free point if the enemy Set is on cooldown so always keep track of when the enemy uses Set then use Overheat • Obviously in 3v3s the enemy team will always have a spare set and can organize to block you but in public games this is harder since teams aren't coordinated • It's in A against skilled players but S against randoms who don't know what they're doing SenshuDefensive Bomb: Place down an AOE sphere zone that automatically sets/repels any ****** that hit it Level UpgradesLevel 2: Increases the size of the zone Level 3: The zone lasts longer Level 4: Shorter cooldown Level 5: Further increases the size of the zone• Senshu is A in competitive games but for overall play in public games it's slightly weaker than before since the nerf where you can't send your opponent's ball outside of the court without hitting it • They made it count as a touch for your team • Still, it's a really flexibile defensive ability for 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 once you learn how to use it • Especially when you use it close to the net, have it block and then spike the ball to where there are no blockersB-Tier SpiritsB-Tier RankingsAbility/EffectWhy B-Tier KuraiPhase Warp: Pull yourself to the shuttle. Level UpgradesLevel 2: Increased range Level 3: Longer hold Level 4: Increased range Level 5: Lower cooldown and longer hold• Overall Kurai is there to set or save stray ****** that are impossible to reach since you teleport to them • This sounds good on paper but what sucks is that this ability has range so you have to be close to that ball which defeats the purpose of this ability • Gomu can do this same thing from any range and still have other uses offensively • Still it's pretty good in 1v1s and 2v2s against Curved Shot or Fake so it's not unusable • It just needs to have its range removed so that you can do it from anywhere KyokiBlindfold: Send out a smoke orb that applies a blinding effect on the enemy Level UpgradesLevel 2: The smoke orb travels faster Level 3: The blinding effect lasts longer Level 4: Shorter cooldown Level 5: The smoke orb travels even faster• Kyoki also has A potential but overall people are learning how to play with the blinded effect since you can still guess the ****** position since the debuff doesn't last that long • You basically have to set it up so that the enemy is blinded before you hit the ball to them so that they can't see where to block • Just be careful since the visual effect on blinded enemies is bugged so even if you think they're blinded they might not be • It's a fun and useful ability, just not as OP as widely useful as other Spirits but it's better for 1v1sC-Tier SpiritsC-Tier RankingsAbility/EffectWhy C-Tier GojinVoid Run: Become invisible and run faster for a brief duration Level UpgradesLevel 2: Run even faster during the invisibility effect Level 3: Shorter cooldown Level 4: The effect lasts longer Level 5: Run even faster during the effect• This isn't a bad ability it's just that in 3v3s you're not getting much out of it besides the speed boost • It's better in 1v1s to confuse opponents and make it difficult for them to block your shots but even in this situation it's manageable to play against due to Freezes and Dashes • Not as bad as Aimbot but needs a buffRacket Rivals Racket Tier List Image by Destructoid The best rackets in Racket Rivals are usually the Smash and Hunter rackets, especially Divinity Hunter, Soul Smash and Winged Shadow. This is because they have the best Power or Speed which is crucial for spiking ****** and scoring points along with either great Dashes or Jumps. The Spin rackets just fail to compete offensively in 2v2s and 3v3s since their Spin curve shots are easily blocked by a widespread team playing smart. Below I've highlighted some of the best rackets in Racket Rivals. Other than those, go for Rares and then Legendaries that have the best Power/Speed stats comboed with good Dashes. For beginners I recommend Gomu's Racket. Racket Highlights in Racket RivalsTop 5 RacketsStatsRanking Reason Divinity Hunter (Limited)On Level 3: • Movement: 7 • Dash: 6 • Jump: 3 • Power: 10 • Speed: 2 • Reach: 7 • Spin: 3• Without a doubt the best racket in the game for scoring and carrying your team • The best Power in the game along with some of the best movement, dashing and reach Winged Shadow (Limited)• Movement: 1-3 • Dash: 7-9 • Jump: 4-5 • Power: 5-8 • Speed: 8 • Reach: 3-4 • Spin: 3• An excellent alternative to the Divinity Hunter if you can grab it off the Halloween event • Lower movement but much better Speed with power staying almost the same Night King• Movement: 7-9 • Dash: 3-6 • Jump: 3 • Power: 6-9 • Speed: 6 • Reach: 2-4 • Spin: 2-4• Another racket that combines high movement speed with high spiking power • You can't go wrong with Night King • Really good in team matches Soul Smash (Vault Banner)• Movement: 5 • Dash: 6-10 • Jump: 4-6 • Power: 6-10 • Speed: 2 • Reach: 3 • Spin: 2• The best racket in the game for smashing the ball down and scoring points • Best used with the Set tech where you set the ball for yourself in 1v1s and then jump and instantly spike it (It takes some practice) • It's also amazing in 2v2s and 3v3s with the best Dashing length and speed and the best power in the entire game • It's a Vault so it's hard to get but the stats speak for themselves Dragon's Breath (Vault Banner)• Movement: 2-3 • Dash: 5-8 • Jump: 4 • Power: 3 • Speed: 6-10 • Reach: 4-5 • Spin: 2-5• An excellent alternative to the Soul Smash since it's also fast due to the super quick dashes • It trades power for speed so the ball will travel incredibly fast when you spike it • Both are the best rackets for 1v1s, 2v2s and 3v3s Infernis Smash (Standard Banner)• Movement: 2-3 • Dash: 4-5 • Jump: 5-7 • Power: 6-8 • Speed: 3-5 • Reach: 1 • Spin: 1-3• Infernis Smash is the best F2P racket in the game • It offers the power of Soul Smash with decent speed and great jumps • If you see it on a banner go all out on it if you don't want to spend Robux Divine Spin (Limited Banner)• Movement: 3-4 • Dash: 5 • Jump: 5-9 • Power: 4 • Speed: 3-4 • Reach: 3-4 • Spin: 5-9• I personally wouldn't go for Spin Rackets since the curve shots are blocked easily in 3v3s where the players cover the field defensively • That said for 1v1s and 2v2s this can be a powerful racket if you know to how to curve well • Still, it struggles with power and speed but it does have the best jumps in the game to set up spikes and defensive blocks Saber Spin (Standard Banner)• Movement: 4-6 • Dash: 4-9 • Jump: 3-4 • Power: 1 • Speed: 3 • Reach: 4 • Spin: 3-5• Basically Divine Spin but instead of jumps you get some of the best dashes in the game • This is great for defense when your team needs a fast blocker or someone to pick up and set loose ****** That's it for my Racket Rivals tier list for Rackets, Spirits and Awakenings. 14. 19. October 17, 2025: With a bunch of new Lightbearers added to the recruitment pool, we've reworked the Destiny Rising tier list to help you pick who to pull for. What are the best Destiny Rising characters? With around ten characters already in the game and several more known to be on the horizon, we've got to work on testing, judging, and grading the Legendary and Mythic heroes available through its launch banners, battle passes, and promotional missions. The answers may surprise you. Unlike Destiny 2, Destiny Rising isn't all about upgrading your personal avatar. Instead, this "Wolf" fills a pre-determined spot in the roster. Its weapon type, element, and skills are static. Changing the way you play means pulling and upgrading other characters like Ikora, Jolder, and Gywnn through a gacha system using currencies not exclusive to what Destiny Rising codes can get you. 20. A new Call of Duty game is on the horizon yet again, and it's another direct sequel to the previous title. ****** Ops 7 will launch on Nov. 14, 2025, and ****** Ops 6 players are eager to know what kind of content will be moving to the new game as part of the Carry Forward system that Call of Duty has been using of late. Here's everything there is to know about BO7 Carry Forward. Table of contents****** Ops 7 Carry ForwardWhat is Carry Forward in BO7?Will BO6 skins transfers to BO7?****** Ops 7 Carry Forward Image via Activision What is Carry Forward in BO7? Traditionally, CoD games have all been independent from each other. But in recent years, the Carry Forward program allowed certain content to transfer between titles, such as Modern Warfare II operators and unlocks being playable in Modern Warfare III in 2022 and 2023, respectively. They have also been usable in Warzone, as well. ****** Ops 6 to ****** Ops 7 will have a similar Carry Forward program, but with some very specific restrictions to keep in mind. Will BO6 skins transfers to BO7? Image via Activision The only content that will transfer to BO7 from BO6 via Carry Forward is Double XP tokens and GobbleGums. The rest of the content from BO6 will stay available in BO6 and Warzone, but not be available in BO7. This means that any operators, operator skins, or weapons bought or unlocked in BO6 will not transfer to BO7. Activision said that this is because BO7 "needs to feel authentic to Call of Duty and its setting" in a community announcement on Aug. 26, 2025. "We know there’s been a lot of conversation recently about the identity of Call of Duty," Activision said. "Some of you have said we’ve drifted from what made Call of Duty unique in the first place: immersive, intense, visceral and in many ways grounded. That feedback hits home, and we take it seriously. We hear you." This means collab skins like Beavis & *********, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Squid Game will remain in BO6 and Warzone but not be available in BO7. It also means that all season six and The Haunting event operators like Predator, Jason Voorhees, and Chucky will not carry over to BO7 either, so keep that in mind if you're looking to spend some CoD Points in October 2025. 21. Star Path duties are some of the toughest quests to get done in Disney Dreamlight Valley. These missions often give you a tricky task with little guidance, as is the case with the craft any refinement item duty. Prior to this duty, there's never been a task that asked you to make refinement items, so there's a decent chance you might be unsure what this means. It's not too tough a quest to get done once you understand what it's asking, so here's how to craft any refinement item in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Table of contentsWhat is a refinement item in Disney Dreamlight Valley? All refinement items in Disney Dreamlight ValleyCraft any refinement item in Disney Dreamlight ValleyWhat is a refinement item in Disney Dreamlight Valley? Screenshot by Destructoid A refinement item is anything you can make in the Refined Material category at a crafting station. There are five different categories of items you can craft, and only those listed in this single specific category count for the Star Path duty. Refined Materials include items like Ingots, Night Shards, Fabric, and other similar assets. All refinement items in Disney Dreamlight Valley All items listed in the Refined Material category count for the Star Path duty that asks you to craft items. If you're looking for the best use of your resources, I recommend crafting items like Iron Ingots, Brick, and Soil since you need lots of all three to make other crafted items like paths, fences, and furniture. Some of the other items are much more costly to make and not as useful, which means you may end up wasting resources. It's best to pick items you think you'll likely use in the future to make sure you don't spend your precious materials on items you don't need. Craft any refinement item in Disney Dreamlight Valley To complete the craft any refinement item task for the Witchful Thinking Star Path event, you need to make 30 items in the Refined Material category. How you break up this process is entirely up to you, which means you can mix and match between different items or make 30 of the same. Finishing this mission gets you 20 Tokens to spend in the event. It's a decent reward for your efforts, but not the absolute most you can earn from a single task. Still, it's certainly one worth tackling, as crafting is one of the easier quests to get done. You still might need to stock up on more Tokens to claim some of the ******* prizes, though. Luckily, there are plenty of other duties to tackle, so consider working on cooking a fairly fancy appetizer, digging for pottery material, harvesting something white and fluffy, and collecting some shoreline shellfish next. 23. View the full article
