Battlefield 6 players are trading theories about Easter Eggs and future updates after one fan discovered a mysterious hidden room in the firing range. Speculation about EA and Battlefield Studios’ secret room began after Reddit user Mobile_Cyberdemon_as shared footage of their character clipping into a previously undiscovered, hidden area. The unlit space is tucked behind the cramped weapon testing room, with only a sealed door — which features a red “keep door closed” sign — hinting at its existence. Hidden room in the shooting range byu/Mobile_Cyberdemon_as inBattlefield .reddit-embed-wrapper iframe { margin-left: 0 !important; } After a few minutes of trying (and lots of awkward crouching) on PlayStation 5, we were able to recreate the moment seen in the clip and confirm the hidden Battlefield 6 room exists. We can also confirm this mysterious hiding spot is, unfortunately, pretty boring, as it only features little more than a workbench and an empty gun rack. It’s easy enough to see areas like this and assume they are simply unfinished assets left on the cutting room floor, but fans have other ideas. Battlefield 6 launched just weeks ago, so there’s no telling what BF Studios could have had planned for this room when sneaking it behind the firing range. However, some details have given players more than enough ammunition to start crafting theories about what the hidden room was — and what it could be. “Judging by the gates, it's a vehicle hangar in the works,” one fan theorized. “I hope they eventually add a real shooting range, not just one room.” Other Battlefield 6 fans have also proposed theories related to a firing range expansion, hoping that, if the hidden room wasn’t an official vehicle testing area, it could become one in the future. It’s an add-on the community has shown interest in for some time, as players spent the weeks since launch using precious helicopter and jet spawns just learning how to leave the ground. Another popular theory suggests the room could could have served as a slightly smaller firing range upgrade that allows players to quickly experiment with different weapons and attachments. Commenters have even toyed with the idea of bringing the flashlight attachment into the hidden room to look for any Battlefield Easter Eggs BF Studios might have secretly placed. Many of the ideas related to the Battlefield 6 mystery stem from desires players would like to see fulfilled. The firing range enigma could absolutely be an Easter Egg, unfinished feature, or future content update, but there’s also the possibility that players have been looking at the room long before Mobile_Cyberdemon_as made their discovery. “You can see that stripey background in that customize weapon screen,” one popular fan theory said. “I guess that's why the firing range loads so fast, because you're actually in it the whole time.” “That's my assumption is when you're in the menus you're actually just in that room with your view locked to a UI and with different walls or areas serving as backdrops for certain screens in the menu system,” another player added. i think i did wrong [Hidden Content] — Twenty (@TwentyFPS1) October 30, 2025 For now, the hidden firing range room doesn’t seem to be much more than an extra space to run around in. While Battlefield 6 fans inevitably search every dark corner for Easter Eggs, you can see how the the online community feels about the first Season 1 map, Blackwell Fields. Scrappy the Rooster is your loyal companion in ARC Raiders, and you can upgrade him to improve his resource-gathering capacities. You can start upgrading Scrappy pretty soon after beginning your journey in ARC Raiders. There are four levels of upgrades available for your rooster, and this guide will provide you with all the necessary information. Table of contentsHow to find all Scrappy upgrade items in ARC RaidersLevel 2Level 3Level 4Level 5All Scrappy upgrade tiers in ARC Raiders Here are all four upgrade tiers for Scrappy, along with all the specific requirements. Upgrade LevelRequirementsForager Scrappy (Level 2)1 Dog CollarScavenger Scrappy (Level 3)3 Lemons 3 ApricotsScavenger Scrappy (Level 4)6 Prickly Pears 6 Olives 1 Cat BedScavenger Scrappy (Level 5)12 Apricots 12 Mushrooms 3 PillowsHow to find all Scrappy upgrade items in ARC Raiders Let's begin with Level 2, which is going to be the first Scrappy upgrade. Level 2 Remix by Destructoid via Embark Level 2 requires you to find the Dog Collar, and we already have our dedicated guide on the topic. In short, you'll need to look into the Buried City map's residential areas. They can be found either on top of furniture pieces or in bins. Do note that they're also located in other locations, but I found it in Buried City. Level 3 Remix by Destructoid via Embark The second upgrade requires you to use Lemons and Apricots. Both these items can be found in the swamp area of the Dam Battlegrounds map. We have a dedicated guide to erase all your confusion. Level 4 The third upgrade requires the use of Prickly Pears, Olives, and the Cat Bed. The Cat Bed can be found in commercial areas like Testing Annex. However, I found it at Ruby Residence (can also be found at Pale Apartments). Both Ruby Residence and Pale Apartments can be found on the Dam Battlegrounds location. Olives can be found in the forest area near the Dome Complex (Dam Battlegrounds), while Prickly Pears are found near cactuses. Look out carefully for both these items as they're pretty easy to miss. Level 5 Screenshot by Destructoid The final upgrade level requires Apricots, Mushrooms, and Pillows. We already know where to find Apricots from, as it's also required for the second Scrappy upgrade. For Mushrooms, the best spot is near the Dome Complex, as the foliage tends to have Mushrooms. I managed to find Pillows from Ruby Residence, but they appear to be available from residential and commercial areas at every location. Be careful not to sell them (as you'll also need them in different crafting recipes). The post All Scrappy upgrade materials in ARC Raiders and how to find them appeared first on Destructoid. ARC Raiders is now available worldwide on PC and consoles, and the game's official Discord will be immensely helpful for various reasons. Whether you're looking for guides or someone to play with, the official Discord is the perfect place. If you're yet to join the community, read on. How to join the official ARC Raiders Discord community Joining the Discord is free, and all you require is the invite link. You can complete the task from either the mobile app or the PC client/browser version. You also need to create a Discord account or log in to your existing one. The official server is broken down into different channels to meet the various needs. The LFG section is my favorite since I don't have a friend to play with. While you can play ARC Raiders solo, it's much better to go in with your buddies. The LFG section, divided into different categories, allows you to meet other like-minded players and matchmake together. You can choose a region of your liking and set up a lobby. Screenshot by Destructoid via Embark Newbie Corner is where you can hope to get your queries solved. Alternatively, it's a great place to get beginner tips and tricks that will increase your chances of survival. The Raider Chat channel allows you to discuss anything related to the game with other members. Always keep an eye out for the Game Announcements channel, as it could be the best place to know about new events and time-limited contests. Finally, you can use the Bug Reports channel to report anything out of the ordinary. While I haven't encountered any bug on my ARC Raiders journey so far, you might have. Reporting the bug will allow Embark to quash it for good. That's pretty much all you need to know about the official Discord that Embark operates. It's the best place to get in touch with the developers directly for any complaints or issues that might arise on your end. The post Official ARC Raiders Discord link appeared first on Destructoid. ARC Raiders' introduction of Scrappy will certainly help players to find scrap and items at all times, and finding the Dog Collar will be essential to upgrade and train your companion. I am unsure as to why Embark chose to name the item "Dog Collar", but it is what it is. You'll have to clear a bit of the early game content to get your hands on the item, and this guide will help you find it in the first place. Table of contentsHow to find the Dog Collar in ARC RaidersHow to use the Dog Collar in ARC RaidersHow to find the Dog Collar in ARC Raiders The location of the Dog Collar appears to be best found in residential areas. Keep completing the main questline until you gain access to the Buried City map in ARC Raiders. You can also find a Dog Collar on the Spaceport map. Remix by Destructoid via Embark I have marked the locations on the screenshot above to make it convenient for you to find the Dog Collar. Once you're at the marked locations, look on top of random items like furniture as you can find them at random. I, incidentally, found one inside a bin, so that's another place to look at. Here are the locations to specifically look for in Buried City. Santa Maria HousesRed TowerGrandioso ApartmentsHow to use the Dog Collar in ARC Raiders The Dog Collar is required for obtaining your first Scrappy upgrade, and using it is pretty simple. You'll first need to find the item and then extract it successfully into your inventory. You can toggle the 'Train Scrappy' option to make things easier, which will automatically mark the item in your inventory. To reduce the risk, make sure to place it in your free inventory to avoid losing it in case of death. You can then use the Dog Collar to train Scrappy and upgrade him to the next level. In the playtest, we also required a Torn Blanket along with the Dog Collar, which is no longer the case in ARC Raiders. The post ARC Raiders Dog Collar location appeared first on Destructoid. They're encased in a braided nylon sheath for extra durability and aeshetics. Lisen claims that they've been lab tested for up to 40,000+ bends and 175lb tensile pulls, "equivalent to a decade of daily extreme use". ARC Raiders is filled to the brim with various items, tools, and weapons that you can find in its post-apocalyptic world. But some are just cryptic and have no clear purpose, or can be highly challenging to obtain, which is how we could describe Fireball Burners. These mysterious pieces of equipment can only be found among a particular enemy, itself quite elusive. So, here is how you can find Fireballs and Fireball Burners in ARC Raiders, and how to use them. How to find Fireballs and Fireball Burners Fireballs do not mess around. Screenshot by Destructoid Before you can use them, Fireball Burners must first be acquired, which is a lot easier said than done. This item only drops from Fireballs, a special type of ARC that spawns across the game's many maps and is a real nuisance to deal with. In the Dam Battlegrounds, Fireballs tend to spawn in interiors of large compounds, such as the Testing Annex in the far east side of the map. They can appear just about anywhere and will immediately attack you on sight, either rushing you and exploding in your face or burning you to a crisp. Killing a Fireball nets you a Fireball Burner, a unique item tied only to this enemy. Fireball Burners are not a guaranteed drop, so you're going to rely on RNG to obtain this rare item from an enemy rarer still. On Buried City, I've spotted Fireballs at a much higher frequency, noticing them in multiple locations on the map. They appear to be a more common spawn on that map than Dam Battlegrounds, so if you're on the hunt for Fireball Burners, then that's the level you should be queueing up for. How to use Fireball Burners Fireball Burners can be used as fire grenades or turned into ARC Alloys. Screenshot by Destructoid Fireball Burners have several highly specific purposes, most of which aren't directly tied to gameplay. They are necessary for several quests in the game, which require you to get them and kill ARCs or Fireballs using them. In this sense, they can be used in the same way as any other throwable in the game, creating fire when used. On the other hand, Fireball Burners can be recycled into ARC Alloy, a vitally important component for much of the game's crafting. If you don't have any quests tied to the Fireballs, then I suggest you simply melt it down for parts, as you'll find much more use in ARC Alloys than Fireball Burners. Fireballs themselves are also quest-specific, with some Feats requiring you to do damage to them by any means, awarding Cred currency for completion. I'd also keep a stock of Fireball Burners on the side should the need arise for them down the line, but most you can just turn into good ol' alloys.
